oh [Applause] i think it's relevant to the older generation you sort of how relevant it is to my generation it sort of depends what the royal family does the next generation basically prince harry and the new babies and how they interpret the monarchy i think for the for our generation if they sort of i think they've got a bit more interactive and sort of socially conscious rather than sort of just hiding away um in the palace [Applause] think what we would have missed if we had never heard the beatles or seen margot fontaine dance never
have watched television used a mobile phone or surfed the net or to be honest listen to other people talking about surfing the net [Applause] it just makes us proud to be british i think a lot of people here now aren't proud to be british and aren't proud of their country whereas we should be because really we are probably the best country in the world and everyone knows us right as the we have the monarchy so everyone comes to us to see bucknam palace yeah people forget how important it is and what it makes for our
country i think it will carry on because you've got charles isn't the most popular but you've got william after him he's quite a popular figure here so i think it'll sort of keep going and like i said i think at the end from a political perspective it's quite a good thing because you do have that sort of thing above government that keeps them in account i think the queen is extremely hard-working but i think the monarchy is an old institution and it's time that we move forward the people can make decisions for themselves we need
