To me, that's a To me, that's racist. Well, that's what they're saying. I mean, isn't it the cigarette that blacks prefer?
It's the anti- position because it will save more black lives. Um, well, we'll make something illegal which will give cops more a reason to get involved with black lives, right? Um, but Bill Maher brings on yet another miserable leftist onto his show, Real Time with Bill Maher.
and Maher is forced to put yet another one in her place here live on real time with Bill Maher in front of this live audience. Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher puts Katie Herszog in her place on this on Bill Maher's own show here in front of this live audience on live television face to face. Let's get into this clip where things get heated between Bill Maher and Katie Herszog after she makes a ridiculously woke statement.
Let's check it out. Uh we're here back on Overtime. [applause] Uh the FDA banned Jewel ecigarettes this week.
Ah no vaping for the kids. [laughter] What are your thoughts on this? Wow.
What are your thoughts? This is the if anything turns me into a libertarian, it will be this particular issue. They have not only ban Juul, a tool that many many thousands of people who have used to get off of of smoking.
Biden is now saying that they're going to reduce the amount of nicotine within cigarettes. Ask any smokers. What is that going to do?
It is going to mean that smokers will smoke more. It is not the nicotine that kills you. It is everything else in in the in the cigarette.
So to me, this is an example of government trying to do the right thing. And menthol and menthol, right? What they're going to You heard that?
You didn't hear that? They've been talking about this for years. Is that a law now?
Does anybody know? Do you know any menthol? I think they're at least been in DC now.
Okay. So menthol cigarettes, which I mean to me that's a to me that's racist. Well, that's what they're saying.
I mean, isn't it the cigarette that blacks prefer? It's the anti- position because it will save more black lives. Um, well, we'll make something illegal which will give cops more a reason to get involved with black lives, right?
Um, but but [applause] I'm a purist. I only smoke joints. [laughter] And I know you do.
[cheering] [applause] And but I know it's not good for my lungs. I absolutely do. I'm not going to pretend it isn't.
And for most because I don't like the way that the vape makes you feel as a stoner. It doesn't work really. Oh, it does.
Oh, well, really? You You never You never used like a puff coat? I have.
I I Yeah. No, no, [laughter] no. You couldn't have it.
This is No, you just get your hand out of your brain. No, no, that's not a puff cup. Okay.
This is You couldn't keep it in your Oh, like a volcano. Like a volcano is different, too. These are things you can't keep in your pants.
[laughter] Sounds like I'm curious to see what you guys think in the comments about the the cigarette and the the menthol and all this stuff in and this these issues. It's very interesting to me because I do think that that is the government trying to do the right thing and just being incompetent. Once again, I don't completely disagree with Katie Herszog and what she was saying there.
But at the same time, like, you know, we can't just let people who are like actively killing themselves, you know, you know, in GTA, of course, not not in real life, but you know, for YouTube reasons, I got to say that. But we can't just let people just continue to kill themselves, you know, like we got to try to do something, right? But I don't think decreasing the amount of nicotine is really the answer.
And unless I'm completely wrong, let me know in the comments if I'm wrong on what Katie Herszog was saying to Bill Maher here. But I don't know if that's the answer because it will just make people want to smoke more tobacco in order to get the same amount of nicotine. Does not does that logic not check out?
I feel like that logic does check out. And so maybe we should like put a limit on how much tobacco can be placed into each cigarette or or what. I'm not a cigarette smoker.
I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. I don't know if that's even like a thing that can happen, but I would think that if that can happen, if that's a possibility, that reducing the amount of tobacco in each cigarette, the legal limit would be more beneficial to smokers than reducing the amount of nicotine because then they're just going to smoke more tobacco, which is the killer, to get the same amount of nicotine. Sounds like we're on Jeopardy.
Category, things you can't keep in your pants. [laughter] I just I just know that vaping is [laughter] vaping is safer than smoke, right? Vapor is safer than I believe it is.
It's pretty clear. Okay. I and I agree with you about joints.
There's something about a joint. I mean, people who watch Club Random, they say, you know, Bill, thank you again, one guy. [laughter] Uh I I don't know.
This this crowd is very strange. [laughter] They're great laughers, but they will not commit to anything. They're really They're very cautious good [laughter] people.
Uh but you know, they're like, "Bill, you always have that clove cigarette in your hand cuz you know that's what we're smoking. [laughter] [cheering] There's something about a joint. It's I think it's it's some it's it's more than just what it feels in your lungs.
It's like the prop of it. It's like the I remember when I would smoke cigarettes. There was something about sitting in a Yes.
And I like the kick you up the upside the head kind of feel when you the smoke when you first get it it kind of bang and the vape is more like woo [laughter] but they also they're targeting just Juul. There are other companies that make vapes. Juul is the popular one.
Oh, really? Yes. Is that right?
Yes. Well, that's because they're trying to keep kids from buying Jewels, right? And that's the brand that sort of teenagers know and they don't want kids to get hooked on nicotine.
the kids. It's helping people quit smoking. But oh man, I I I really don't like these these sorts of people.
I can kind of just tell like even if I never knew who Katie Herszog was, I could just look at this person and tell, "Yep, I'm not going to enjoy your presence. You just seem like a miserable person just based on your dumbass haircut, you know? " And it's just such a stupid take, man.
Like, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and say that the other thing that she said wasn't that stupid. The logic checks out, whatever. The majority of people who who use jewels are not people who are trying to quit smoking.
They're people who they're they're kids who are, you know, just turning 18 and they want nicotine and, you know, so I don't think that them getting rid of jewel was a was a bad thing. I don't think it's a bad thing. I don't I think if we're in the interest, if it's in the interest of protecting people, it's better for the the health of Americans for jewel to not be a thing than it is for it to be a thing.
because the majority of people using it were not people who were, you know, trying to quit smoking and all this stuff. It's not the majority of people that were using it. Let's see what Bill Maher has to say.
But that's not the case with mentals. These are adults. Where where you what do you feel about that?
I mean, yes, we found that smoking is bad, right? For everybody, by the way, we know. And it has caused both individuals and the government to pay for healthcare, you know, a lot of trouble over the years.
That said, there is something to be said for allowing adults to make some of their own choices, right? And not making everything dividing us racially, you know, like smoking is bad. Bad for blacks, bad for whites.
Why ban the black cigarette? It seems it seems just unnecessarily divisive. Am I wrong?
I mean, really, we could also ask, why are we calling it the Black [laughter] in the Because that's what they say, you know? That's it. Actually is kind of funny how Bill Maher is just so like he's so old school.
Like he he really is just like, you know, he's an older guy, so he just says the black cigarette like it's, you know, that's just like what you say. But it's like, you know, Bill Mahar like you're not really supposed to say that, bro. like [laughter] that's not really something that you're that you're allowed to say anymore, you know, unfortunately.
Obviously, I don't care. I think it's funny, but there's going to be people out there that of course, I'm sure Katie Herszog, every single time he says that, you know, she's just can't wait to get after him. And she's like, man, I really wish that I could say something right now like it's just eating me alive that he just called it the black cigarette.
I can't believe it. You just know she's thinking that. And then, you know, this this lady makes a a funny joke about it, but you know, Katie Herszog is just sitting there just waiting, you know, and I think it's funny, though.
I think it's endearing that that Bill Mahar calls it that. And he's not joking. He's genuinely he's just being genuine.
He's just saying that it's the black cigarette. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about this issue. Do you think it's the right thing to do to outlaw the black cigarette?
And do you think it's the right thing to do to outlaw Juul? What do you guys think about Bill Maher putting the woke idiot Katie Herszog in her place here live on Real Time with Bill Maher?
