[cheering] [music] Hello. What's your name? >> Uh, Will Jones.
Will Jones? >> Yes, sir. >> I love your style.
>> Thank you. >> Very fresh Prince of Belair. >> Thank you.
[applause] >> I love it. Like, it's sick. >> Where you from?
>> Streetport, Louisiana. >> Southern man. >> Yeah.
>> And how old are you? >> 17. >> 17?
>> Yes, sir. >> Just yes is fine. >> Yes, sir.
>> [laughter] >> Good luck. >> Thank [cheering] you. [music] Baby, lock the door and turn the lights down low.
Put some music on it slow. Baby, we ain't got no place to go. >> I hope you understand.
I've been thinking about this all day long. I never f to feeling quite strong. [music] I can't believe how much it turns me on [music] just to be your man.
[music and cheering] Go ahead, boy. You can't believe it. [music and cheering] There's no worry.
Don't you hurry. We [music] can take our time. We're alone now.
You [music and singing] don't know how long I won't need you. Lock them doors and turn them [music] lights down low and put some music on it so slow. Baby, we ain't got [singing and music] no place to go.
I hope you understand. [singing and music] I've been thinking about this all day long. Never felt a feeling that was quite strong.
I can't believe how much it turns me on just to be [music and singing] your man. [cheering] [music] [cheering] Willie Jones, you are an absolute original. [cheering] Thank you, Willie Jo.
He sounds like Willie Jones, right? >> Willie Jones. >> It's perfect.
Ah, that's what's up. [laughter] That was amazing. [cheering] Thank you, sir.
Thank you, Mr >> Britney. >> I was very surprised. I wasn't expecting that.
And I think like LA said, it's very original of you to do what you just did. [cheering] [music] Demi, >> what I like about you is you're really likable. Like the fact that you're standing on stage, you're like, "Oh my gosh, is this is for this is for me?
" Like, I love that about you. Stay [music] that person, too. [cheering] >> Uh Willie, this is why I wanted to come to Greensbor.
I prayed we were going to find somebody like you, but you've gone beyond my expectations. You surprised me. I think your voice is a sensational recording voice.
[cheering] And I want to remember this time [music] the first day I heard Willie Jones. This is a day to remember. I'm telling you, I will.
[cheering] >> Okay. I think it was your vote. >> It's a huge yes.
>> Thank you. Thank you so [cheering] much. Britney, >> it's an enormous yes.
[music] >> You're such a rock star already. I'm going to say yes. [cheering] [music] >> I will.
[cheering] It is an absolutely ginormous big fat. Yes. >> [music and screaming] >> Hello.
[cheering] Right, let's start with your name, please. [applause] >> I'm Vinnie and I'm from Glasgow. >> Are you here with anyone with your family or what?
>> My mom, my dad, and my sister. >> By the way, I am a quarter Scottish. [cheering] It's >> his left leg.
>> Are you actually? I am. So, we are probably related somewhere.
[laughter] >> And how old are you, Vinnie? >> I'm 29 years old. >> And what do you do?
>> Um, I'm a Holiday Park entertainer. I've been doing that since I was 18 years old. I've never really worked anywhere else.
Um, I do bingo calling, game shows, I sing in the evening, sometimes to one table, and sometimes to 10. This is mad. >> [applause] >> Okay.
So, how do you think you go from there to here? Um, I'm going to show you today. Right.
[cheering] [applause] Okay. Good luck. [cheering] >> [cheering] >> Well, that sucks off, Finny.
[applause] [applause] When I [music] wake up, well, [singing] I know I'm going to be I'm going to be the man who wakes up next [singing] to you. And when I'm lonely, yeah, I [music and singing] know I'm going to be I'm going to be the man who's lonely without you. [singing] And I would walk 500 [music] miles.
And I would walk [singing] 500 more just to be the man who [music and singing] walks a thousand miles to fall [music] down at your door. [singing] And when I'm working, yeah, [music] I know I'm going to be I'm going to be the man who's working hard for you. >> What a great version.
I'm dreaming. [music and singing] Yeah, I know. I'm going to dream.
I'm going to dream about the times when I'm with you. And [music] I would walk 500 miles. And I would walk 500 more [music] just to be the man who walked a thousand miles.
[music] to fall down at your door. I will walk 500 miles and I will walk 500 more. [music] [music] >> [cheering] >> When I wake, well, I know I'm going to be I'm going to be the man who wakes up next to you.
And when I'm dreaming, yeah, I know I'm going to dream. I'm going to dream about the times when I'm with you. with you.
Look at that. [music and cheering] >> [music] >> Heat. Heat.
[cheering and music] [music] Wow. Wow. Wow.
Wow. Wow. I don't think that we were expecting that.
[cheering] >> I'm actually quite speechless. Alicia, >> the feeling I had whilst listening to you sing was that you were really fighting throughout that whole audition, like you were trying to prove yourself, and you really, really did. Well done.
>> At [cheering] the time you were putting your all into it, you blew everyone away and that was outstanding. [cheering] >> Your voice is just superb. >> [cheering] >> So, Billy, I'm missing something here.
You don't just go from bingo calling to that. Were you trained as a singer or what? >> No, I've just always sang since I was a young age, but I've been on the park since I was 18.
So, I've never really left. I mean, what do you think? >> [music] [music] [cheering] >> Heat up [music] here.
[cheering] [music] >> [cheering] [music] [music] [music] [cheering] >> for audition now. Would you all like to follow me? David's [music] having one of his I want everyone to like me days.
[laughter] >> Enjoy yourself. [music] [music] >> Hello there. >> Hello.
>> What's your name? >> My name is Kyle Tomlinson. >> Nice to meet you, Kyle.
>> Nice to meet you, too. >> Where are you from, my darling? >> Sheffield.
>> Sheffield. [cheering] And how old are you? >> I'm 15.
>> Okay, Carl. So, tell us a little bit about yourself. [sighs] >> Well, I'm sorry.
I'm really nervous. >> I can tell. That's okay.
Take your time. >> It's all right. >> Um, well, I came a couple of years ago and I got told to get a singing teacher.
And >> who told you that? >> David. >> Yeah.
>> Me. >> Oh, [laughter] okay. Doesn't sound like the kind of sensible thing I'd say.
>> Was it said it quite harshly? >> Yeah. >> Really?
>> And Kyle, how old were you when he said that to you? >> 12. >> 12.
>> Unbelievable. >> Boo. >> Yeah.
Boo boo. >> Well, I'm shocked. >> So, presumably for the last couple of years, you've been working with a teacher.
Yeah. And you're feeling more confident now? >> Yeah.
>> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Do you need a little sip of water or something before you start >> David?
Too late for that. [laughter] >> Too late. You try everything you can to be nice now.
>> What did the other What did the others say? >> They were quite nice. >> Were they?
>> Well, I was the I was This is strange. >> I was the mean one. >> Yeah, >> I'm the only nice one here.
>> Oh, that's a lie. >> Anyway, we're here to support you, Kyle. So, good luck.
Here's your chance to prove David wrong. [laughter] >> Thank you. >> Come on, son.
>> Can do it. [clears throat] >> [music] >> I heard there [singing] was a secret chord and David [music] played and it pleased the [singing] Lord, but you don't really care for music, do you? [singing] [music] Well, it goes like this.
The fourth, the fifth, the might fall [singing] and the major leal. [music] >> Sounds great, doesn't it? [music] >> Hallelu.
[singing] Hallelujah. [music] >> [music] >> He remains a God above. And all [music and singing] I ever learn from love is how to shoot somebody [music] who I dream [music] here.
It's not someone who can see the light and it's broken [music and singing] and you need it. >> [music] >> Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[music] Hallelujah. [cheering] [cheering] Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
[singing] >> [music and cheering] [cheering] [cheering] >> Oh, tell you what. That's a terrible. >> Oh, Kyle, [music] you stood up there.
You put your heart and soul on the line and we all felt it and we were all there with you. That was brilliant. [music] [cheering] >> You know, this just shows you, Kyle, when someone grinds you down and says you're not good enough, you come back and you come back and look them in the eye and you go, I am good enough.
>> Thank you, >> David. What did you think? [cheering] >> I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY GOOD.
[cheering and music] >> [music] >> 52. [music] [cheering] >> Thank you so much. >> Well done.
And you know what? You sung with real passion and that's what it's all about. Well done.
>> Thank you so much. [cheering] Thank you. >> [music] [applause] >> Hi there.
What's your name? >> Hi, I'm Lucy. >> Hi Lucy.
How you doing? [cheering] >> Okay. And where would you like to see yourself in 5 years time?
>> I really want to sing. I just want to make people hear me sing and think, "Wow. " >> Okay.
What song have you got for us? >> Um Whitney Houston, I will always love you. >> You sure you want to do that song?
>> [applause] >> If [singing] I [music] should stay, I will only your [singing] way. So I [singing] go, [music] but I know [music] I'll think of you [singing] every step of [music] the way. [singing] And I [singing] will always love [singing] you.
I will always love you. [singing] You [music] my [singing] darling. You bitter [singing and music] sweet memories.
[music] That is all [singing] I'm taking with me. [music] So goodbye. [singing] Please don't cry.
We [music] both know [singing] I'm not what you you need. And I [music] [singing] always [music] love you. [cheering] >> [cheering] [cheering] >> Right.
Uh, Cheryl, >> I I actually loved the vulnerability in your performance cuz it makes me think that you don't realize actually how amazing you are. [cheering] >> I think I think you're one to watch, Lucy. I think you could be absolutely amazing.
I think you could sing anything. [cheering] Thank you so much. Thank you.
>> Some people were absolutely born to [music] sing. You were born to sing. You tick all the boxes and I predict everything's going to change for you from this day on.
[cheering] Uh Lucy, this is why we come to Wales. One of the hardest songs in the world to sing. You didn't try and impersonate Whitney.
You just sang it your way. You're really likable, Lucy. You're really, really good.
I like you. [cheering and music] ALL RIGHT. Yes or no?
>> 100% yes. [cheering] >> Cheryl, >> definitely yes from me. >> Absolutely.
Yes. [music] [cheering] >> It's a full house. You next round your bedroom.
[music] [cheering] >> [music] >> Hi. What's your name, sir? >> Robbie H.
[cheering] >> Can I ask how old you are? >> 26. >> And how long have you been performing music?
>> Since I was a kid. I'll stand in the middle of the street and I'll sing. And it's the every second thought, you know.
>> And where do you live, Robbie? >> Everywhere. >> What do you mean everywhere?
My current status at the moment is I am homeless. >> Ah, okay. >> I've been uh homeless for about 6 years on and off.
Two nights out of every fortnite like I'll stay somewhere like a friend's house or something. But rest of the time, yeah, just keeping on the street. [music] I sleep in doorways, alleyways, just trying to keep dry.
As a child, I felt like I was a big burden on people. I grew up in a single mother family. She had three jobs that she used to work every week.
You know, it took its toll on her. So, I was put into care at 13 years old. I never really jailed with any of the families or any of the people that I got with.
And so, it was easier for me to just shut myself away and just put my brain into the things I love to do. [music] I have always sung. I don't think there's anything else in my life that I do with such, you know, such passion.
This competition is obviously a big thing. It could add the element of security. It could change my life.
Yeah, definitely. >> You've obviously had a difficult life. Has music helped you?
>> Yeah. It showed me that I'm worth a little something. >> Okay.
[cheering] [applause] >> What are you going to sing for us today? >> Damian Rice, Coconut Skins. >> Okay.
[cheering] Hope is going to be good. You >> Robbie, good luck. [music] [music] But now you can hold our hand and show her how you cry.
[music] Explain to her your weakness so she understands. Then roll over and die. You can break decisions [music] before you crumble up inside.
Spend your time asking everyone else's permission. Then run away and [music] hide. You can sit on chimneys.
Yeah. [music] Put some fire up your eyes. No need to know what you're doing or waiting for.
[cheering] But if anyone should ask, tell them I've been letting go, cutting our skins. [music] We've been hanging out. Tell them God just drop by to forgive our sins [music] and relieve us our doubt.
Oh, now you can hold her hands, but your basket has a hole. [singing] Oh, you can lie between her legs and go looking for tell her you're searching for her. So yeah, you can wait for ages.
Watch your compass turning cold, [music] but time is contagious and everybody's getting old. Thank you. >> [cheering and music] [cheering] [music] [cheering] >> Okay.
Gita, >> what do you feel like when you listen to music? >> You know, when you listen to music and when you listen to that song of the time and the place where you remember that song and it creates the scene. >> Yeah.
>> That's [music] what it does. I think you are more than capable of doing that for other people. [music] [cheering] Teresa >> Robbie, [cheering] I am really glad that you came today.
You look like someone that's been lost for a while and I think you've lost your confidence in your [music] skill and I think you need to realize the potential you have and how good you are. [cheering] [music] Yeah, Robbie, I think you're a very talented guy, but I don't think you you've had a break in life, you know, and I think you absolutely deserve that. [cheering] [music] >> Robbie, I think you've got lots of talent and absolutely zero confidence, and that's the only thing to work on from my perspective.
Robbie, we're going to vote right now. Louie, uh, Robbie, I think you're talented. And I'm going to give you a chance.
And I'm going to say yes, [music] [cheering] >> Robbie. I am going to say yes. [cheering] >> Bobby, >> I say yes.
[music and cheering] >> Bobby, you've got four yeses. [music] >> Well done. reason.
[music] [cheering] >> Congratulations. Well done, man. I'm thrilled for you.
Good job. >> I feel like he's here ready to turn a new page. >> If you give him time, give him space, and you give him some of your knowledge.
>> Yeah. I think he'll come back with a bang. He's going to bring it when he come.
>> Going to have to have to. [music] All the lights and the cameras and everything. >> Yeah.
Look at this. I never even remotely believed it. >> My name is Richard Goodall from Terote, Indiana.
I've lived in Teroot my whole life. I was that kid up in my bedroom with the Radio Shack stereo. My favorite thing was just to sit up and listen to my music and I just belt it out.
Eventually, I was like, I got to find me a job. So, I became a janitor at Chelsea Rose Middle School, which is only three blocks away from my house. >> My [music] first job in LA was sweeping floors.
And I used to sing to myself. >> That's That's the thing. >> That's how I keep up my voice is I I'm not a fancy person.
I take out the trash. [music] I wipe off the tables. I sweep the floors.
I'm just having fun and I'm trying to make people happy. The kids would hear me sing and they tell me, you know, that I I've got talent. That's why I'm here.
That's why I got on a plane. When I took off from Indianapolis, I felt that front wheel [music] come off the ground and you have this this floating. You're no longer stable.
And that's what that's what this whole experience [music] is like right now. I mean, it's a good offbalance, but until you actually [music] do something, you don't know if it's right for you or not. Oh, I'm getting chicken skin talking about it.
>> It's time to meet the judges. Thank you, sir. [music] I'm with you.
[applause] Hello. [applause and music] Very nice to meet you. And what is your name, please?
>> Uh, I'm Richard Goodall. I'm from Terode, Indiana. Uh, [applause] >> and uh, Richard, how old are you?
>> I'm 55. >> 55. >> And what do you do for a living?
>> I've been a janitor for 23 years. Uh, the kids call me Mr Richard. >> Okay.
So, tell me what the big dream is, please. >> My big dream, uh, I'd like to sing. I love to sing.
So, Okay. Does everyone know you you've come out today to audition? >> Uh, just just my closet friends and and my fiance Angie.
>> Oh. [cheering] [applause] >> Is she here with you today? >> No.
>> So, she's the one you're going to call. >> Yeah. >> After the audition.
Yeah. >> Yes. Immediately.
Yes. >> Okay. All right.
And the song you've chosen today, tell me why you chose it. Uh, well, the song speaks for itself, so >> Okay. All right.
I'm not going to ask any more questions. Let's do it. Good luck.
>> Ah, are you a bit nervous? >> Yeah. Uh, [applause] it's okay, Richard.
>> This has been a long time coming. >> A bless you. [cheering] >> Let's go, Richard.
>> [applause] >> Shake off those nerves. We're here. We're rooting for you, Richard.
[applause] Good luck. >> I hope he's good. >> I know.
>> I really do. >> [music] >> Just a small town girl living in a lonely [music] world. >> [cheering] >> She took a midnight triangle and let me [cheering] [music] just a city boy [screaming] for the reason [music] stop.
He took the midnight train [music] going. [cheering and music] >> [music] [cheering] [music] >> Cigarette in a smoky room. >> So amazing.
>> Smell like the chip of you. Oh, a smile that can share the night. [music] It goes on and on and on and on.
Strangers [music] wait here up and down [music] the shadows searching in the night. [music] lies people living just emotion hiding somewhere [music] [music] around that feeling street >> [music] >> Don't [music] stop believing through [music] that feeling like people. [music] [cheering] That was [cheering] amazing.
>> [cheering] [applause] >> Please open the [music] door. >> Richard, >> you are my hero. [music] >> Cuz that was special.
Genuinely special. I think America is going to love you. [cheering and music] >> I mean, that was spectacular.
That was fun. This was an amazing surprise. I [music] think you were perfect to come [cheering] to AGT because you made our night.
>> Thank you, man. You're beautiful. [music] >> You and maybe because you've been doing it for 23 years, but you just cleaned up.
You just, [cheering] you know, I would imagine every kid that has ever been in a school with you is just screaming. I just think you're amazing. >> [music and cheering] >> We love you, Richard.
>> Richard. Richard. Richard.
You knocked me off my feet. I mean, we all had the best time with you up there on that stage. I really, really feel something when I see you up there and hear you up there.
[cheering] And now this is what I'm going to do for you because I love you. [cheering] Though I used to be [music] romantic, I forgot somehow [music] time can make you blind. But I see you now as [music] we lay in the darkness.
Did I wait too long to turn the lights? [cheering] >> Amazing. I can't wait to see what you're going to sing next.
[cheering] >> Stuck on a hill. Outsiders inside [music] the home that we build. The cold settles in.
It's been a long [cheering] He deserves a long day. >> [music] >> And now I think we should go and call your fiance. Should we call her?
[cheering] [music] >> You ready to give your big voice? >> I hope so. >> Oh, this is good.
>> I'm a little nervous about [music] getting on stage. >> No, don't be nervous. Go out there and show them what you got.
>> [cheering and applause] >> Where did you come from? >> Uh, right over there in the wings. >> You snuck on, didn't you?
How are you? >> I'm good. >> Good.
You look excited. >> Yeah, I'm very excited. >> And what's your name?
>> Ansley Burns. >> And where you from? Ansley.
>> Easley, South Carolina. >> Oh, [cheering] you got a great accent, by the way. >> Thank you.
>> Okay. Ansley, are you like a comedian or a dancer? >> Well, I'm a singer.
>> Oh, you're a singer. Yeah, Easley is a very small town. The population is small and when I was little, I used to sing and pretend like I was on America's Got Talent.
My grandma would get her phone and she videoed me and now I'm in chorus at school, so I sing a lot for my school. I would love to sing for the rest of my life. So, America's Got Talent is literally my dream.
It's like I'm stepping inside the television because usually I watch it on TV and now when [music] I see it, it's right over there and I'm gonna be on that stage in front of all these people and I'm just like >> What are you nervous about? >> The judges >> just a little bit. I'm really excited though.
>> Yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun. >> I really hope now the judges really like it. I've never done this before.
Okay, Ansley, what are you going to sing? >> Thank by Franklin. >> Oh, >> you're going to do a Retha Franklin.
>> Uhhuh. >> At 12. >> Yeah.
>> Okay. You sure? >> Uh-huh.
>> Okay. >> All right. >> The stage is yours.
[cheering] [applause] Think about what you're trying to do to me. [music] Your mind go let you set me free. Let's go.
Let's go. Let's go. Way back.
I didn't even know you could have been too much. [music] I know you don't. [music] >> Okay.
Okay. Ansley. Ansley.
Sorry, babe. I don't think this backing track was working for you. I mean, it was a horrible, horrible backing track.
Uh, so I don't think we can judge you properly on this. I really don't. We really like you, but that was terrible.
If you're going to sing Artha, you've got to have a great track. >> I'm just wondering whether we should just do a verse and a chorus. Maybe ac cappella.
>> Um, >> do you want some water? >> Uh, yeah. >> Hang on.
Come here. Come here, Andrew. I haven't had any.
[cheering] >> This will help. >> [applause] >> It's It's like magic water. It's yours.
[cheering] >> Okay. Uh um will that just happen? >> Okay, let's do it.
[cheering] Come on. You can do this, Ansley. You got this, girl.
[cheering] [applause] >> You better think about what you're trying to do to me. Let your mind go. Let yourself be free.
Let's go back. Let's go back. Let's go way back when.
I didn't even know you could have been too much more than 10. I know. But it SAY let your mind go.
Let yourself be free of freedom. [screaming] Freedom of freedom. YEAH.
FREEDOM. [cheering] [cheering] >> [music] >> You're a little fighter, aren't you, Ansley? Breathe the Franklin ac capella.
Three key changes, no track. Wow. Howie, you're an amazing person.
As Simon just said, people don't realize how tough it is for [music] an adult to get up on this stage in front of all these people and millions of people watching at home and then to [music] take whatever change and whatever criticism is given your way and do it. That is amazing for somebody twice your age. >> Thank you, [cheering] >> Gabrielle.
What do you think? I think your level of professionalism at [music] 12, I mean, I've worked with people three, four, five times your age who don't have [music] the talent that you have in your little finger. You are really something special.
>> Thank you. [cheering] >> You know what? The minute you actually sang that ac capella, I felt like you owned that song [music] completely.
And I feel like when the track was going, you can hide behind that. A lot of people can hide behind that. And at 12 years old, that could be really scary, not having that track to support you.
You absolutely crushed it. And I'm I'm so excited to see [cheering] what you do. >> Thank you.
[applause and music] >> You've just proved the point. Personality [music] to me is as important as technical ability. You know, it's the person I always remember.
And you, my god, 12 years old is how we say it, coming on that st. I know how scary it is. We're going to remember you.
You have a great voice. >> Thank you. >> Okay, now the most important part.
Are we? >> Yes, [cheering] Gabrielle. >> Oh, yes.
Two yes. >> Yes. [music] >> I've got to try and do the accent.
Ansley. Ansley. Ansley.
Ansley. burns. You got yourself [music] four years.
[music] [cheering] [music] >> Hello. >> What's your name? My name is Morgan Smith and I'm from Watford.
>> And how old are you, Morgan? >> I'm 15. >> Wow, you're so much older than me.
[cheering] >> And why are you here today? >> Because I want to perform in front of the royal family. >> Okay, [cheering] I take it.
Are you going to sing for us today? >> Yep. I'm singing Spotlight by Jennifer Hudson.
>> And why did you choose that? >> It's a powerful song and I think I can show my ability with it. [applause and cheering] >> I'm Morgan Smith.
I'm 15 years old and I come from Watford. My life is music. Everything I do, I sing.
When I'm doing exams to remember stuff, I make it into a song. I just love everything about music. Today, I've got my dad, my mom, and my younger brother supporting me.
You're going to be fine. I could just freeze on stage. I could just But you won't.
Where you from? She was quite a nervous, quite sensitive little girl. But then when she starts singing, I just am so bursting with pride because she's just beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful. Who do you want to impress the most? >> Simon.
>> Why is that? >> He's the main man. [laughter] >> Even though I'm only 15, this is definitely my focus in life.
>> Hi. >> Good luck. Good luck.
>> I want [music] to be able to perform in front of thousands of people and show everyone what I can do. >> Okay, the stage is yours. fulfilling your needs [singing] as well as mine or is it just a sentence?
Am I doing >> this? Baby, I don't lie. [singing] Living under your spotlight.
>> Morgan, can we hear something else? >> Um, yes. >> Uh, you've got rather go blind to James.
Why don't we do that? [music] >> Okay. What you've got to do is be strong and confident.
Okay. Make us believe that you [music] believe in yourself. [cheering] >> I want to feel your heart.
I want to [music] feel spirit. I want to know what's behind that face. >> Yeah.
>> Now you've heard a little bit of advice. Why don't we turn this into the Morgan Smith concert? [cheering] [applause] >> She'd be all right.
She'd be all right. >> [music] >> Something told me it was over [singing] when I [music] saw you and her talking. [singing] Something deep down in my soul [singing] said girl when I saw you and her walk came out.
[music] So you say I love you so much that I just don't want you to leave me, baby. Most of all, I just don't want to be free. [music] >> I was just I was just I was just in here thinking [music] about your kiss in your warming [singing and music] bra.
[music] So you see the reflection of the glass held on my lips. No baby [music] see the tears that was on my face. [cheering] [applause] [music] [applause] Well done, Logan.
I'm actually really glad you've come on this show because [music] we've seen in the past Simon has managed to mold certain people into really big stars and I think you've definitely got the talent and you've definitely got the potential. >> I love your voice. I think it was brilliant.
Thank you. You have so much potential. You don't know how good you are yet.
>> Thank you. [cheering] Come on, Alicia. >> Morgan, [music] that wasn't the best audition I've ever heard.
Having said that, I think you are really, really good. >> Simon, >> great voice, great personality. You're one of the better singers we've heard on the show this year.
[music] [cheering] >> So, we're going to vote now, and I'm going to kick this off with a yes. >> Thank you. [cheering] [applause] It's a yes from me, [music] darling.
>> It's a yes from me. [music] >> Morgan, >> you have four yeses. Congratulations.
>> Thank [music] you. >> Hello. >> Hello.
What's your name, please? >> My name is John. I'm 41.
I'm originally from Wales, but now living in Essex. >> [cheering] >> And do you have a day job? >> Uh, I'm a teacher.
>> What do you teach? >> I teach music. [cheering] [music] >> I go around schools teaching children piano and music.
[music] >> I really love my job. You know, I feel so proud of it. >> But my dream is to be a full-time singer.
I would like to hold [music] my hand. >> When I became a dad, I put my dreams and ambitions on hold to provide for the family. [music] But I feel now is a right time to show my kids and my students who are teachers.
It's never too late to follow your dreams. [music] [cheering] >> Okay. And did you bring anyone with you, John?
>> I'm here all alone today. Uh, my children don't even know I'm here. >> Oh, wow.
>> No, it's a complete surprise to them. My daughter, she said, "Oh, my daddy, my dream is for you to go on Brit Britain's Got Talent. " >> Oh my gosh, I love this.
[cheering] >> All right, John. Well, look, we genuinely are rooting for you. >> Thank you.

[music] >> Don't ever doubt your ability. This was a very special audition. Thank you.
[music] You're a teacher. You're a dad. Your voice nearly broke at the beginning, first time round, but these are, I think, our favorite kind of auditions where you just don't know where this is going.

Every time we were doing like the household chores, we'd always be singing. Whether we were folding clothes or [music] washing the floors, that's how I would get them to clean cuz sing and dance. >> It was just [music] so fun.
I pretty much sang [music] everywhere. She always sang to her little brother and he used to laugh all the time. [music] But now when she sings, he tells her, "Be quiet.
You're driving me crazy. " Are you ready [music] to sing for a million dollars? >> Go get them.

Thank [cheering] you. >> And we just had it. What at what age were you when you realized you could belt out a tune like this?
I mean, this is pretty nuts. I've always sang with my mother just growing up, even even cooking or anywhere. So, I guess [cheering] yeah, always.
