Well, I've been like I said, I've been said those fights can [music] get made. It just depends on the fighters sitting down and uh actually going to handlers and tell them, "Look, this is the fight that I want and make it happen. " Well, you know, they offered me to fight and put some money behind it.
It's a goal, you know. I don't turn [music] down no fights. Since you don't with me, you have to been ringside at the fight 10 two days ago and he's lucky [music] he didn't get his face broke badly there.
You don't if you if you're ringside and you're afforded that opportunity. I just didn't I [music] found it a bit distasteful. I like Terrence.
Terrence Crawford has now called out Conor McGregor for a boxing fight and the idea alone has already created a wild debate. All the boxing media is out and this is one of the biggest boxing events uh in a in a long time, you know. Uh, and it feels that way as well.
Terren Crawford's name being linked with Conor McGregor instantly sounds like one of those fights people laugh at first, then slowly start taking seriously because with McGregor, the normal rules never really apply. He brings noise, money, attention, and a fan base that can turn any fight into a worldwide event. But Crawford is not the kind of boxer who would treat it like a show.
if he steps in there, he is coming with real skill, real timing, and the mindset of a champion who does not play around once the bell rings. Well, uh, like I said, we only shall see. You know, I can't, uh, give any, uh, hard answers on that because you never know.
But, yeah, I would love to get in the ring with those fighters, but, you know, uh, at the business side of the table, you know, it all got to make sense all around. This is where the conversation takes a different turn because Crawford is not only talking about a possible fight anymore. He starts looking at Conor McGregor through a bigger lens beyond the trash talk and the money for him.
McGregor is not just another celebrity fighter or UFC name trying to enter boxing. Crawford seems to respect the struggle, the image, and the way Connor built himself into a global figure. And Conor McGregor's side of the story makes the Crawford fight sound even crazier because he is not talking like someone begging for a boxing match.
He is talking like a man who already crossed into boxing once, made history, and now believes anyone who wants that kind of event has to meet him on his terms. That is what makes this whole idea so strange. Crawford is the pure boxer, the pound-for-pound technician.
But McGregor is trying to drag the deal into his world first. So before this even becomes a fight, it becomes a power move over rules, money, and who really controls the event. Belt opportunities.
And then the Terence Crawford one came up two fight deal. They were saying maybe boxing for says listen lads I've done this I've done the boxing they have to come to me now I'll do the boxing after. So it was worked out of a twoight deal mixed martial arts first with Terren with Terrence and boxing after.
I said he's not going to accept it. I hope he accepts it. He can wrestle.
Maybe we'll have to wait for his son to do it. Maybe his son will have the courage to do it. And then he drops the number that changes everything.
$200 million. So now this is not just Crawford versus McGregor. It is pride, rules, risk, and a massive payday all in one conversation.
What's the crack, Terrence? It's the Mac Daddy. I got the big fella here.
We've got a big deal for you. Hundreds of millions. 200 million to be exact.
Mixed martial arts against me and a boxing one against you. I don't want to be kicked by you. No way.
I says, "My man, you can we can box the a few months later. What's the crack? Come on.
You're mad. You can wrestle. " And he just didn't want to know.
Crawford later made his stance even clearer when he tweeted, "Still till this day, no matter what y'all say or how you feel, boxing is still and will forever be the hardest sport to do at a top level. " That line connects directly to the McGregor talk because Crawford is basically reminding everyone that boxing at the elite level is not a celebrity challenge. It is a different world once the bell rings.
But Conor McGregor did not let that sit quietly. He jumped in with a short reply saying, "I guess we'll never know. " And that one line made the whole situation more interesting.
Because it sounded like McGregor was throwing the challenge back at Crawford without needing a long response. Then Crawford fired back and said, "We do know. All you got to do is look at it.
And you, my friend, definitely know from experience. " And Crawford did not stop there. He pushed it even further by saying, "This is the guy that said he would knock me out and whoop me in Shakur at the same time.
" At that point, the exchange turned from a debate about boxing into a direct shot at McGregor's confidence. Crawford was basically laughing at the idea that Connor could talk about beating elite boxers when he already knows how hard that world really is. And that is when Connor snapped back with a much more aggressive response.
He said, "What the are you saying? You can wrestle yet you are afraid of an MMA fight. That to me is pitiful.
The kid was beaten in an MMA fight which you don't have the courage for. What the was with all these little boxers at this show yet no MMA fighters? That reply changed the tone completely.
Now it was not just Crawford defending boxing anymore. Connor was trying to drag the argument back into his world making it about MMA courage and who is really willing to step outside their comfort zone. Then Crawford came back even harder and said shut your drunk up and get ready for your fight.
He got his whooped like you did running your mouth. I don't have to come and fight in the cage. That's the joy of boxing.
You all come to us. We don't have to come to you all. That response made Crawford's position very clear.
He was not interested in letting Connor control the rules or move the conversation into MMA. Crawford was basically saying boxing already has the stronger pull because crossover fighters usually leave their world to enter the boxing ring. So, in his mind, he does not need to prove anything inside a cage.
If Connor wants the payday and the spotlight, Crawford is saying he knows where to find him. Then Connor kept the pressure on with a short response, saying, "Don't be scared, homie. MMA kings like us.
" That reply was classic McGregor because instead of backing away from Crawford's boxing argument, he turned it into a courage test. Connor was basically saying, "If Crawford really believes he can wrestle and really wants to prove himself, then he should not be afraid of stepping into MMA rules. " So now the back and forth is no longer just about boxing being harder.
It has turned into both men challenging each other's world with Crawford saying boxers do not need the cage and Connor saying real kings are willing to fight anywhere. Crawford then explained his point even more and said, "I don't care what sport you do, they all want to learn how to box. Even the soccer moms want to put the gloves on and do punch fitness.
You don't see them training to do MMA for other sports. We are not the same. But I respect the hell out of you all.
I'm just saying that line brought the argument back to boxing's influence. Crawford was not saying MMA is easy, but he was making it clear that boxing is the skill everyone borrows from. In his view, even fighters from other sports still come back to the gloves, the hands, and the striking.
But Conor McGregor has opened up about his next fight prediction, WWE rumors, acting plans, Terence Crawford, and what could be coming next in his career. Mac Energy in the house, baby. Going for this right now, man.

UFC. Meanwhile, Terence Crawford has now explained why he would never step into MMA and his answer was simple. The money is not worth the risk.

According to Punch Drnk Boxing, this whole Crawford and McGregor situation should not be brushed off like simple internet trash talk. He is saying that if Crawford can respond strongly to other fighters and keep that same hard energy in boxing beefs, then McGregor should not be treated differently just because he comes from MMA. The point he is making is simple.
People always talk about Crawford having a wrestling background. So now McGregor is testing that image by calling him toward the cage. And from Punch Drnk's view, a fight like that would not just be dangerous, it could also be massive business because McGregor brings the kind of crossover attention that can turn one challenge into a huge payday.

He he's not in the WWE wrestling [music] you know Roman Reigns and and Randy Orton. Huh? But he's a wrestler and ladies and gentlemen say like this Conor [clears throat] McGregor versus Terence B Crawford of the Cage.
I think that Terence B Crawford will make just as much money or even more money fighting Conor McGregor than he did fighting Kennel. mother. [music] In his view, Crawford may not be the aside against Conor McGregor, but the payday could still be too big to ignore.
That is why he pushes back on the usual boxing excuse that MMA does not pay enough. He is saying Connor is not a normal MMA fighter. With Dana White the Paramount Deal and McGregor's name attached, the business could actually make sense.

He's a very very strong man. He's a wrestler. You got to understand he's a wrestler.

So Bear comes over, we jump in the pool, and then Paio is like, I I I walk into the house and P's in the in the He never walked out to the backyard. So he's right there watching uh watching the fight. I'm like, "What are you doing?
" He's like watching the the UFC fight. I'm like, "Oh, I didn't know there was a fight on Sunday. " He's like, "Yeah, 250 year.
you know, celebration that at the White, oh, boxing ego is now reacting to the backlash Terren Crawford received after showing up at the White House UFC card and posting photos with Donald Trump. This situation quickly became bigger than just a fighter attending an event because fans started connecting Crawford's appearance to the politics, the people in the room, and the controversial comments that came from that card. For some, it was just Crawford accepting an invite and enjoying a major sports moment.

You got a war in Iran. Like, there's just a lot going on in America. Bud Crawford posted.
It says, "Who would have knew the president of the United States of America was a big fan of the kid from a small city called Omaha. " That rubbed people the wrong way. A lot of people, you know, people were like, "Who cares?
This is not the flex that you think it is. " People are judging Terren Crawford for taking a picture with Donald Trump at the White House after he was invited. But some of those same people stay quiet when other fighters do far worse.
Bud Crawford, in my opinion, [music] he definitely looks MAGA, right? He went to the Sunday card. Now, keep in mind, UFC normally goes on Saturday.
Trump's birthday was on Sunday and they did a whole special card on the White House lawn for that. So, they shifted the date. They spent $60 million to build, you know, the scene and they had a card.
To me, I don't know how y'all felt. I felt the card was a failure to spend all that money [music] and then, you know, some of the fights were cool, but the underdogs won. That is why Crawford fans are pushing back.
They feel like the outrage is selective. Boxing Massacre tweeted, "People judging Terrence Crawford for taking a pick with Donald Trump at the White House where he was invited, but they defend a C00 who ran to Canelo and got on their knees, a snitch who filed a lawsuit for battery in the boxing ring, and a scunt who's aggressive towards women. " This is where the conversation shifts from controversy to legacy.
Because Crawford's story has never been simple. He did not get the easy road, the perfect promotion, or the kind of spotlight some fighters are handed early. He had to keep proving himself, fight through doubt, and still find a way to become one of the most respected names in boxing.
