E.W. Kenyon The Hidden Truths
You are not trying to be like Jesus. You are one spirit with him. Christianity is not about becoming more like Jesus.
That's religion. The Bible says you are one spirit with Christ. Same life.
Same nature. Same authority. And once you believe that, miracles become normal.
Welcome back to the E. W. Kenyon the Hidden Truths channel.
If you've been struggling to live like Jesus, if you've been trying harder and harder to be more spiritual, more holy, more like him, I need to tell you something that will shock you. You've been lied to. The Christian life is not about imitation.
It's about identification. In the next 30 minutes, you're going to discover why trying to be like Jesus is actually keeping you from walking in his power. You're going to learn what it means to be one spirit with him.
And you're going to understand why this single revelation changes everything about how you pray, how you speak, and how you live. Stop trying to become what you already are. Let me show you what God's word really says.
90% of believers today are living beneath their spiritual birthright. They go to church every Sunday. They read their Bibles.
They pray. But they have no power, no authority, no manifestation of the Christ life within them. Why?
Because they're still trying to become something instead of recognizing what they already are. They're like a prince raised in poverty, never told about his royal bloodline. The tragedy is not that he's poor.
The tragedy is that he doesn't know who he is. Let me explain something crucial about your three-part nature. You are a spirit.
You have a soul. You live in a body. Your body is the physical house you live in.
Your soul is your mind, your will, your emotions. But, your spirit is the real you. The hidden man of the heart that Peter talks about in 1 Peter 3:4.
Here's what happened when you were born again. Your spirit was recreated, not reformed, not improved, recreated. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. " That word creature in the Greek is ktisis.
It means a new species of being that never existed before. You became something brand new at the spirit level. But, here's the problem.
Most Christians never renew their minds to this reality. Their spirits are born again. Their spirits have the nature of God.
Their spirits are righteous, whole, and powerful. But, their minds are still thinking like orphans. Their minds are still thinking like sinners saved by grace, instead of new creations with the very life of God inside them.
So, they spend their entire Christian lives trying to become what they already are. They're like a man standing in a river dying of thirst because nobody told him he could drink. The power is there.
The nature is there. The authority is there. But, they don't know it.
And what you don't know will destroy you. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, not lack of sincerity, not lack of effort, lack of knowledge. " Now, let me show you the most revolutionary verse in the entire New Testament.
First Corinthians 6:17, but he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Read that again slowly. He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit, not two spirits trying to cooperate.
Not two spirits working together. One spirit. This is not poetry.
This is not metaphor. This is legal covenant reality. When you were born again, your human spirit was fused with the spirit of Christ.
You became one. The Greek word for joined here is colao. It means to glue together.
To weld. To fuse into an inseparable union. It's the same word used in Matthew 19:5 when it says, "A man shall cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh.
" Just as a husband and wife become one flesh, you and Christ have become one spirit. This is what Jesus prayed in John 17:21, "That they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us. " Jesus wasn't praying for organizational unity.
He was praying for organic unity. Spiritual fusion. Now, here's what most Christians miss.
They think Jesus is in heaven and they're down here trying to get closer to him. They think Christianity is about bridging the gap between them and God. But Colossians 1:27 reveals the secret, Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Not Christ for you. Not Christ with you. Christ in you.
And 1 John 4:17 says, "As he is, so are we in this world. " Not as he was when he walked the earth, as he is right now. Seated at the right hand of the Father.
That's how you are in this world. Same life. Same nature.
Same standing before the Father. This is what Paul meant in Galatians 2:20 when he said, "I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless, I live, yet not I.
But Christ liveth in me. " Paul wasn't trying to live like Jesus. He was letting Jesus live through him.
There's a massive difference. One is imitation. The other is manifestation.
One is religion, the other is relationship. One is you trying to produce fruit. The other is Christ producing his fruit through you.
Think about it like this. When you plug a lamp into an electrical outlet, the lamp doesn't try to become electricity. The lamp simply receives electricity and manifests light.
You are the lamp. Christ is the power source. You don't try to become the light.
You simply let his light shine through you. John 15:5, Jesus said, "I am the vine. Ye are the branches.
He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. For without me, ye can do nothing. " The branch doesn't try to become the vine.
The branch simply stays connected to the vine and the life of the vine flows through it automatically. Now, let's go deeper. 2 Peter 1:4 says, "You are partakers of the divine nature.
" Partakers. The Greek word is koinonos. It means sharer, partner, participant.
You share in the very nature of God himself. Not that you became God, but that you received his nature, his life, his DNA. Romans 8:16 says, "The Spirit itself bearith witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
" Notice it doesn't say the Spirit bears witness to our spirit. It says with our spirit. Your recreated spirit and the Holy Spirit are in perfect agreement about who you are.
They are one witness, one testimony, one voice. And if you're a child of God, you have the family resemblance. You have the family nature.
You have the family authority. 1 John 4:17 says it again, "As he is, so are we in this world. " Jesus has authority over sickness.
So do you. Jesus has authority over demons. So do you.
Jesus has authority over circumstances. So do you. Not because you earned it, not because you're trying really hard, but because you are one spirit with him.
You share his nature. You carry his authority. Luke 10:19 Jesus said, "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
" That word power in the Greek is exousia. It means delegated authority, legal right. Jesus gave you his authority, his name, his power of attorney.
You have the legal right to use his name because you are in union with him. You are his body on the earth. You are his representative.
You are his ambassador. 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, "Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us. " An ambassador doesn't speak his own words.
He speaks the words of the king who sent him. And when an ambassador speaks, he speaks with the full authority of his government backing him. You are Christ's ambassador.
When you speak his word, you speak with his authority. When you use his name, you use his power. When you walk into a situation, you bring his presence.
Because you are not two, you are one. Now, here's where most Christians get stuck. They know they're saved.
They know they're going to heaven, but they still see themselves as sinners. They still have a sin consciousness instead of a righteousness consciousness. Let me explain the difference.
Sin consciousness is when you're always aware of your failures, your weaknesses, your shortcomings. You pray, and you wonder if God is listening. You ask for something, and you hope maybe he'll answer.
You try to live holy, but you keep failing, and you feel guilty. That's sin consciousness. But righteousness consciousness is completely different.
Righteousness consciousness is when you know who you are in Christ. You know you're the righteousness of God. You know you have a right standing with the Father.
You know your prayers are heard because you're his child. You know you have authority because you're in union with Jesus. Second Corinthians 5:21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
" You are not trying to become righteous. You are the righteousness of God in Christ. This is not about your behavior.
This is about your identity. This is not about what you do. This is about what he did.
Jesus took your sin. You received his righteousness. It was a divine exchange.
Romans 5:17 says, "They which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ. " Righteousness is a gift. You didn't earn it.
You can't lose it. It's not based on your performance. It's based on his finished work.
And when you begin to see yourself as righteous, not because you're good, but because he made you righteous, everything changes. Your prayers change. Your words change.
Your authority changes. You stop begging God for things he already gave you. You start declaring what his word says.
You stop trying to get God to do something. You start releasing what he already did. Hebrews 10:14 says, "For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.
" Perfected. Not in the process of being perfected, already perfected. Your spirit is perfect right now.
Not your behavior. Not your mind. Not your emotions.
But your spirit is absolutely perfect because it has the nature of Christ. This is what Jesus meant in John 14:12 when he said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father. " Greater works.
Not because you're great, but because he is great in you. So, how do you walk in this reality? How do you live from this place of union instead of separation?
Let me give you the secret. You have to renew your mind. Romans 12:2 says, "Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
" Your spirit is already perfect. Your spirit is already one with Christ. Your spirit already has everything, but your mind has to catch up.
Your mind has to be renewed to what your spirit already knows. And you renew your mind with the word of God, not just reading it, meditating on it. Joshua 1:8, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein.
For then, thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. " Meditation is not Eastern mysticism. Biblical meditation is speaking God's word over yourself until your mind believes what your spirit already knows.
It's saying, "I am one spirit with Christ. I am the righteousness of God. I have the nature of God.
I have the authority of Jesus. " You say it when you wake up. You say it throughout the day.
You say it until your mind stops arguing and starts agreeing. This is what Paul meant in 2 Corinthians 10:5 when he said, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the [snorts] knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. " Every thought that says you're weak, cast it down.
Every thought that says you're a sinner, cast it down. Every thought that says you're trying to become like Jesus. Cast it down.
Because those thoughts are lies. The truth is, you are one spirit with him. Ephesians 4:23 says, "Be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
" Your mind has to come into agreement with your spirit. Your mind has to believe what God's word says about you. Not what your feelings say.
Not what your circumstances say. Not what your past says. What God's word says.
Let me give you five practical steps to begin living from this reality starting today. Step one. Every morning, before you do anything else, declare out loud, "I am one spirit with Christ.
" Say it 20 times. Say it until you feel it rising up on the inside. This is not positive thinking.
This is word-based confession. You're training your mind to believe what your spirit already is. Step two.
Find 10 scriptures that describe your identity in Christ. Write them down. Carry them with you.
Speak them throughout the day. Scriptures like, "I am the righteousness of God in Christ. " "I am more than a conqueror.
" "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. " "I am seated with Christ in heavenly places.
" These are not wishes. These are facts. Step three.
Stop praying like a beggar. Stop saying, "Oh God, please, if it be your will. " You're not a beggar.
You're a son. You're a daughter. You have covenant rights.
Start praying like this. Father, I thank you that I am one spirit with Christ. I thank you that I have your nature.
I thank you that I have authority over this situation in the name of Jesus. I speak to this mountain and I command it to be removed. That's not arrogance.
That's faith. That's what Jesus taught in Mark 11 verse 23. Step four.
When sickness attacks your body, don't accept it. You're one spirit with Christ and by his stripes you are healed according to 1 Peter 2 verse 24. Speak to your body.
Sigh. Body, you will line up with the word of God. Sickness, you have no authority over me.
I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. Don't beg God to heal you. He already did.
Receive it. Declare it. Walk in it.
Step five. Find other believers who understand this revelation and walk with them. You can't walk in this alone.
Proverbs 27 verse 17 says, "Iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. " Surround yourself with people who see you as God sees you. People who will remind you who you are when your mind forgets.
People who will speak life, not doubt. Now, let me speak directly to your spirit. You are not who you used to be.
You are not defined by your past. You are not limited by your failures. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
You are the righteousness of God. You are one spirit with the Lord. You have the nature of God living inside you.
You have the authority of Jesus backing your words. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all principality and power. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ.
You are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. You are blessed coming in and blessed going out.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is your heritage as a servant of the Lord.
You are not trying to become these things. You are these things right now. And the moment you begin to see yourself the way God sees you, your life will never be the same.
Sickness will have to bow. Poverty will have to flee. Fear will have to leave.
Because you're not walking alone. Christ is walking in you. Christ is speaking through you.
Christ is manifesting his life through you. So, here's what I want you to do right now. In the comments below, I want you to type this statement.
Type I am one spirit with Christ. Say it out loud as you type it. Let it sink deep into your heart.
Then type this second statement. I have the nature and authority of Jesus. These are not empty words.
These are declarations of truth. And every time you declare the truth, your mind gets stronger. Your faith gets stronger.
Your spirit rises up. If this message has opened your eyes to who you really are, hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications. Because every week on this channel, we're going to dig deeper into these hidden truths that religion has kept from you.
I'm going to put a list of all the scriptures we covered today in the description below. Write them down. Meditate on them.
Let them transform your thinking. Here's the lesson you need to take away from today. Stop trying to become like Jesus.
You're already one spirit with him. Stop imitating. Start manifesting.
Stop begging. Start declaring. Stop seeing yourself as a sinner saved by grace.
Start seeing yourself as a new creation with the very nature of God inside you. The Christian life is not about you trying harder. It's about you believing what God already did.
It's about you receiving what Christ already gave you. It's about you walking in the reality of union instead of the illusion of separation. You are not alone.
You are not weak. You are not trying to reach God. You are one spirit with God.
And when that revelation hits your heart, everything changes. Miracles become normal. Authority becomes natural.
Faith becomes effortless because it's not you. It's Christ in you. The hope of glory.
God bless you. Now, go walk in the reality of who you really are.
