MOD TOOLS | Ep1 : How To Make A Custom Zombies Map on Call of Duty World at War

hey everyone core here and welcome to my tutorial series on how to make a custom zombies map on Call of Duty World at War on the PC throughout this tutorial series you'll learn everything you need to know to make your very own custom zombie maps once we finish making a very simple map I'll also continue the series by bringing you guys more advanced tutorials that way you can add more to the maps and make them even better and yes I'll even be showing you how to bring stuff from future Call of Duties into your Maps as well so if you haven't already click the Subscribe button favorite the playlist and let's get started in this first episode we'll be going over installing the mod tools there'll be some links in the description the first one will bring you to this page and we'll need you to uh download all these so just highlight all of them and hit the download button and as you can see they'll start downloading and you'll have to wait for that but while we do that we will need one other uh download so I'll download that one next as well all right so as you can see our downloads are already starting to download the other download we need is the ugx script Placer 2. 0 this is going to allow you to start making your Maps a lot quicker rather than having to do everything by hand so the link will to this will be in the description you will have to make an account on ugx mods but I recommend that you do that because it's an awesome Forum that's where I get all my custom zombie maps as well and you can also you know put your maps on this website as well so it's just great so click the download file and we'll download this as well and then just wait for all of those to download and then I'll see you when they're done all right so now you should have all the mod tools downloaded you should have the mod tools mod tools 1. 2.

2 as well as the ugx script Placer 2. 0. 1 or whichever one is on that download so next you want to find where your uh where your Call of Duty World of War is installed for me it's in my program files 86 steam steam apps common and then w at War you want to right click this go to send to desktop that way we can create a shortcut you're going to be in this folder a lot so you want to make a creative shortcut just to save yourself time now we're going to start opening up these files and dragging them into this folder uh you're going to need a tool uh to unzip these I use winwar and I'll put a link to that in the description so you want to open it up make sure it's the first one you definitely want to go in order you cannot go out of order or you end up replacing files that you shouldn't be so just select all the files and then drag them into this uh it will take a while as there are a lot of files so I'll just cut through this part um if and then we'll see you when it's done all right so you may get this window that pops up and what you want to do is just do this for all current items and then hit yes that's going to replace everything as you can see here and then it's just going to overwrite everything that's why you want to make sure that you go in order that way you're not overwriting things you shouldn't be also right here do this for the next 5,636 conflicts copy and replace all right so we installed the first mod tools and now we just want to install the rest and going in order and keep in mind you do not have to do the ugx script Placer uh that can just stay in this folder but you do want to do version 1.

3 and then 1. 4 and like I said before if anything pops up just copy and replace everything these won't take as long as the first one did so we'll just open them up we'll open up this folder and we'll drag them in and then also make sure that nothing's highlighted so you don't put them inside another folder I'll do the rest then and I'll see you when I'm done all right so I do apologize I did forget one more link we're going to need the ugx mod tools patch version 1. 0.
