[Music] hello and welcome back everybody if you are watching this video then it means that the game is well underway and that you must be preparing your demo video your demo video is an essential deliverable that you need to be able to complete your challenge and to be in with a chance of winning a place on the podium so in this short video video I'm going to give you 10 tips on how to make sure that your video is a complete fail follow my tips if you do not want to convince coaches and you do

not want to impress the jewelry or to be in with a chance of winning tip number one make a 10-minute video with a monotone voice static images and no animation let's face it pace and good delivery are so overrated tip number two don't mention the name of the game or the brand or the logo what's the point being Incognito is the way to go the more you can confuse your players and make it harder for them to identify you in your game the better tip number three make sure you introduce yourself and talk all about

your school isn't that the most interesting thing who needs to know about the game it's so good that they'll understand it anyway tip number four don't tell us what your game is about no need to clarify the subject and certainly don't tell people what they might love learn the whole point of playing the game is to win right what else matters tip number five a really important one don't tell people how to play the game I'm sure that anybody brave enough to attempt your game will just love the element of surprise and following on tip

number six don't tell players how they can progress in the game don't give them clues about how they can win or lose wouldn't that be a spoiler alert tip number seven use long sentences packed with with complicated words this will bore people to death boredom is key the key aim of a bad video is to confuse people and to bore them to death usually reading the 40 pages of game rules is a great way to do this tip number eight shoot your video in a dark place make sure that there's not too much light you

don't want everybody to be able to get a good look at your game do you tip number nine use your best acting skills preferably your Poker Face make sure you show zero emotion no laughs no Smiles make it as disturbing and creepy as possible or you could go the other way include lots of James Bond moves and make people think they're watching a Hollywood action movie trailer that will move the focus away from how good your game is and how welld designed it is and the last tip tip number 10 no music no Jingles no

Ambiance if you have to add some music make sure it's that nice boring elevator music you know the stuff that makes you yawn okay so did you make a note of all those tips but yes joking aside I'm sure you've understood that that was a list of everything you do not want to do remember you only have 2 minutes not a second more to make sure that the jury understand what your game is and how it works they have to be able to imagine what it looks like when it's being played what they will learn
