28 in the Democratic primary right now. Yeah. Bernie and AOC.
No, they got the biggest crowds. That doesn't matter. It won't it won't sustain itself, but right now they have no leader.
Okay. But this is the thing the Republican party has to understand, too. Both parties lost in the last election.
Trump won. Bill Maher is starting to shock me more and more every single day as he makes his new beliefs more known. Obviously, Bill Moore has been one of the liberals that is comfortable with speaking out against a lot of the things that the leftwing has done, which most of the liberals out there are not comfortable with doing.
But recently, he's been really going after the left wing. And in particular, he's going after specific left-wing leaders and specific people on the left wing. In this clip, we have Bill Maher going after kind of like cult leaders on the left, AOC, Bernie Sanders, and people such as that.
And it it's really just shocking to me. It's it's cool to see. It's nice to see.
I just never thought I would see it, especially, you know, on the official Real Time with Bill Maher show. I thought maybe he'd go on a podcast and say stuff like this, but to say it on his on his official Real Time with Bill Maher show, it's it's kind of wild to see. Never thought I'd see it.
Let's get into this clip here from Real Time with Bill Maher where Bill Maher goes after not just the left wing, but specific leaders on the left wing such as AOC and Bernie Sanders. Let's check it out. go through this f Basher would have a real but you got you got to win the Democratic primary.
It's not so easy but they they they game the system. They changed. And who do you see for on the horizon for 2028 in the Democratic primary right now?
Yeah. Bernie and AOC. No, they got the biggest crowds.
That doesn't matter. It won't it won't sustain itself. But right now they have no leader.
Okay. But this is the thing the Republican party has to understand too. Both parties lost in the last election.
Trump won. Okay. And I don't know if that's going to transfer.
We should have won four more seats in the Senate. If you looked at the last 70 races for the Senate, 69 will fall exactly. I think it's more versus Yncan.
That's where I see it. Yncan would be adjacent and then Vance and Junior will fight it out for that crowd. You're AOC and Bernie.
And who's at the top? They're going to lead right now. Who's at the top of that ticket, Kevin?
Because if it's if it's not Bernie, what he's going to be vice president and wait his turn. No, it would be Bernie's been running each time. I'm just saying who's in the lead right now.
I don't think that's how it ends up. But big crowds don't necessarily mean who's the right candidate. You know, when I started No, but it drives it drives where the ideas are going to go.
It's going to drive the money for a while. It doesn't make them the winner. It doesn't.
No, it doesn't make a winner. You'll have to wait till you'll get two years out and then you'll start seeing these governors that start showing solutions. You also have to know what is the issue going to be.
Are we going to have a foreign policy issue? Are we going to have an economic issue? and who's been the best in leading in that.
But right now for the Democrats who's going to lead for the next two years, the money is going to AOC outraised everybody in the House and it's all small. It's all small donors. This is exactly where Trump was when no one gave him a chance at 17.
He outraised everybody else. So that's where the base is at, right? And so what will happen it'll move after the I can see what this guy's saying and that the audience brings in the money, right?
like you have to have a reason for people to get behind you and to to donate to you and raise this money. And obviously you need a lot of money for a presidential run for a presidential campaign, especially when you're running, you know, against other people who have a whole lot of money. With that being said, like AOC, her views are just too extreme to win.
I I believe, you know, in 2028, like her her views are just too extreme. People are just waking up more and more to the nonsense and they're they're just getting tired of it. They're getting fed up with it.
And I think as time goes on, they're just only going to get more and more fed up with the nonsense. And most of it comes from the left wing. Obviously, there are there is some right-wing nonsense, too.
But most of the nonsense that is just like, okay, come on. Like, you know, like let's have some common sense here. Most of the time that reaction comes from things that the leftwing is saying and doing.
And like I said, I predict that it's only going to get more and more go more and more in that direction. And if you have someone like AOC who is kind of like at the at the the front of a lot of these just ridiculous things, you're probably going to lose again. You know, just just being real, you're probably going to lose again if that's the case.
Uh I'm I'm curious to see if you guys have a different prediction in the comments. Do you think that AOC would be a good candidate? Obviously, Bill Maher doesn't think so, but some people do.
And and I I get where he's coming from. They do have large audiences. They probably could raise a lot of money.
Not going to win an election, though. I just don't believe it. The next midterm elections.
So Oklahoma has now required their students in schools to learn that the 2020 election was tainted by fraud. What are your thoughts on that? Yeah, you can do that one.
Come on, man. I I from from my belief, the election was very clear. Biden won that election.
Okay. That wasn't hard. No, but I I've never done a difference.
I know. I know. But and it's very clear, right?
Trump won the election this time and won the popular vote, which a Republican has not done in like 30 years. And so, but the the basis is we we we've got to get out of this running the last elections. Presidential elections should be aspirational.
It should be about ideas. It should be about where America wants to go for the next century. And if we have elections demonizing one another instead of election about the public deciding where they want to go, you can't govern once you win.
And and we're going to fall behind. Last question. Uh yeah, I think I mean I think he's correct obviously.
Um I don't think that's ever going to be the case. I think people have now just realized that, oh, the American people are so stupid that no matter who wins or loses the election, it's always Russia collusion or a stolen election or whatever. You could argue that there's more evidence for one than the other.
And I would probably agree with you. I think that there's a lot more evidence, you know, with the 2020 election being a little little strange, you know, people mail, you know, wheeling in buckets of votes in the middle of the night. Why why are we doing that?
just so many weird things happening during that election period and um the the Russia collusion stuff just kind of being completely debunked pretty quickly and pretty easily. So yeah, there's a massive difference between those two. But I just I agree that I wouldn't want that to be like the playbook that everybody runs every single time there's an election loss that oh I lost this election because of collusion because of it was stolen.
It's like sometimes you can just lose. So I I I agree with that, you know, but I think that is kind of the playbook moving forward that nobody can ever lose an election again. It's always stolen or collusion or something.
According to the people who study this, out of 180 countries, America has slipped down to 57. So we're middle of the pack as far as freedom of the press goes. Mhm.
What do you think about that? Well, not good cuz it's our first amendment and you know it's first and so it should be important in this country. um you know these assaults uh these lawsuits and everything else mo much of them nuisance lawsuits are really problematic.
You mean like again 60 minutes 60 minutes which is which which there looks like they're going to pay in some way to get that deal done. It feels that feels like paper for play all over the place. Um but all of them even Facebook paying uh Trump that money for throwing off the platform or uh or any any of these things that are happening around the country it's a real problem and it's very chilling.
It's not to say that that press doesn't make mistakes because they do all the time. But when it's when it's done and and they correct it really quickly. The New York Times just did win its case with Sarah Palin.
Yes. A very good sign. And they made a mistake.
They admitted a mistake. They apologized for mistake. They corrected the mistake and and they got better presumably.
And so I think that's where we should be. But there there is a real movement to chill the the press through through legal means. You think so?
Look, I I don't think the press has been fair in so many other places. You can look at certain things they made up. Look, look what the White House correspondents dinner.
Who did the who who won the award this time? The one reporter who got up and reported that Biden wasn't mentally all there when they all hit it the entire time. So, there's a reason why we have been dropping.
It all started after the Pentagon Papers and others whether people put trust in this. And you've got the internet today. You got more people bringing stuff out.
Um I I just have a hard belief of things that I read of what had transpired in a meeting I've been in and and I do think it's pretty tainted one way. So that's why you see the pendulum swing the other way. All the strength is on the on the right right now.
All the energy is on in right-wing media right now whether it's small podcasters or bigger podcasters or small media sites and stuff. What's interesting for the media? No, that's 100% true.
The the the energy is on the right-wing media. No doubt that's because of the suppression of any sort of truth. You know, anything that could have possibly benefited the right-wing, it had been suppressed by mainstream media for so long.
So, people were forced. Anybody who wants actual truth had to go to, you know, individual podcasters. They had to go to Joe Rogan's podcast.
They had to go to whoever, you know, Russell Brand's podcast. Whatever the case is, you had to go to these independent podcasts because you didn't have a choice. If you wanted actual news and not just to get spoonfed nonsense that maybe you agree with, maybe it makes you feel warm and cozy inside, but you know it's not the truth, you had to go to third parties.
You had to go to independent podcast. So yeah, the all the momentum is on the right wing now with these individual podcast out of necessity. It wasn't like for fun.
People had to do that. You had to if you wanted any sort of actual news, you had to go to the these third parties. You had to go to, you know, independent podcast.
And that's the reality. This these leftwingers being like, "Well, all the momentum's on the right wing. " Yeah.
Because it had to be. There was no choice. You think these Sunday shows are all important?
No. More more people listen to Joe Rogan on a podcast to Midas to the Midas group, which is great. Which is good.
Which is the way it should be. Let people gather whatever information they can and out there and you should be able to challenge it. But the first amendment right standards and facts that are that are very clear and but it's also h how the newspapers today can't afford to do it.
You've got to have your news so fast and so rapidly. So you don't have the editors. You don't have the ability to check.
Um so people should be able to question what goes on. Well, they did put somebody in the press room from social media. I read this this week.
It's it's crazy what's happened with with the media and and and how how quickly it all happened. You know, people like Don Lemon losing their jobs. That's what happens when you lie to people long enough.
They're just going to stop watching, man. And and they that's all they do. That's all the mainstream media does is they just lie and lie and lie.
And people started to catch on. And unfortunately for them, fortunately for us, we now have the internet. We can fact check things with, you know, I can just tap the voice to the text or the voice to text whatever on my phone in chat GBT or Claude and I can ask it if something's true and I can get the answer in 5 seconds.
So anytime that they lie to us, we could just check and see if they're lying to us and most of the time they are. So, you know, I guess they're just so used to people not having access to any sort of information and they think that they can just say whatever the hell they want no matter if it's true or not to benefit their their own narratives. And that's not the case anymore.
So now everybody has left and Don Lemon's losing their show and CNN's canceling a bunch of shows and nobody's watching that stuff anymore, you know, and and that's that's just what they get for for lying to the American people for so long. Let me know in the comments though what you guys think about Bill Maher and his guest really just trashing on the left wing and Bill Maher going after AOC and Bernie for not being good presidential candidates. I'm curious to see what you guys think in the comments.
If you think that Bernie and AOC would make good presidential c candidates, I obviously I don't think so. Some people on the left think so. Like, you know, some of these people think so.
Bill Maher, who is definitely a left-winger, does not believe. So, I I don't know. I don't know who's going to be a good candidate for them, but um you know, I'm sure that they'll come up with somebody and and they'll be propped up for sure.
So, let me know in the comments what you guys think about this episode here of Real Time with Bill Maher.
