All right so as you all know this is going to be a very special two-part workshop series that we're doing this month in the uh skills lab so it's not just going to be any ordinary coaching calls instead we're doing these two-part workshops on how to write a highly converting script in 15 minutes or less and my goal is really To make this entire process like as easy as possible for all of you because i know that like script writing can be like really laborious and like sometimes difficult and like overwhelming and then we procrastinate
and get distracted so the goal of workshop number one of two is going to be to go through a couple of things so we're gonna go through number one like why is the script writing Process like so hard but like what's making it so difficult after that we're gonna go through uh three principles to a more efficient like content or video content creation process and then to wrap it all up i'm gonna go through the three questions that i ask myself before i do any writing or creating to make the process really really simple so
this is like setting the stage and Like giving you all the tools for exactly like how we're going to be doing this and we'll do a little workshopping at the end if we have time part two is when we're gonna get into the real workshopping part two is when we're going to use all the stuff we're talking about and literally start writing these scripts out and start to make sure that all of you have a really good grasp of these skills As well does that sound good to everybody okay thanks alex cool i'll explain this
part too so part two is let me look at my calendar i think it's the it's the 18th at 6 30 eastern 5 30 central time okay thanks yeah you're welcome okay so i just went through the overview exactly what we're gonna go through for today so let's talk first like why can like Creating these scripts be really difficult and challenging and there's a lot of like different reasons i think for that but it kind of boils down to one thing um and usually it's that we're lacking clarity on exactly what we are trying to
do and what we're trying to accomplish in our video whether it's what we're trying to accomplish with the videos for our business or for our audience and so when we're lacking some clarity and i'll Explain a little bit more why this clarity is so important but when we're lacking it what we tend to do is we over stuff our videos that's one thing we might do where we just like put all the stuff in all the examples all the topics all the points because we're like so worried we're not going to give enough value or
that we're going to miss a point or that we're not going to come across as authoritative enough so that's one thing that might happen when we're Lacking kind of a click when we're lacking clarity another thing that might happen is that we might underwhelm where we might feel like we're giving enough but people are missing some of the key points and then they're not fully grasping what they need to in order to move forward and get the kind of results that they need or are looking for um you know another thing that might happen is
you get completely stuck Where you might just sit there and like spin your wheels and just be like i'm terrible at this and i'm never gonna get better at it maybe all of us have had those moments maybe that's why we're sitting here um and then lastly when you don't have clarity like you might get distracted or procrastinate so whether it's productive quote-unquote productive procrastination where like you're cleaning your house or you're responding to clients That's like productive procrastination but it's not the needle-moving work that's going to take your business to the next level right
or maybe it's non-productive procrastination where maybe you like to lay on the couch and watch netflix and you like to watch organizing shows that's what i like so whether it's productive or unproductive um either way that might be a symptom of what you're experiencing so these are Like the big four things that happen when we don't have the clarity we need in order to like start to write these scripts quickly and efficiently so this is all making sense to everybody so far do we all have questions on this okay and you can pop them in
the chat if there are any okay so let's talk about a few things like i said i want to go through three principles to more efficient content creation process So we're gonna go through those three first and then we're gonna put the whole picture together on then how you start to like actually write these scripts or flows more quickly okay so the first piece to this is prioritizing a flow over a script and i understand like the topic of this workshop is like how to write a video script in 15 minutes and it's not meant
to be like deceptive um but the word script is like what People use all the time to talk about their content creation process but in reality what i like my students to prioritize is a flow more than a script and i'll talk about what the difference is because when people focus on writing scripts it tends to suck up a ton of time and when you move more toward the flow type of method it ends up being a lot less labor intensive so for example A flow of video flow would be when you have like a
select few bullet points organized in a really clear and digestible structure right and i'll give an example of that what that looks like in a second and like i said it requires less time and is overall less labor intensive because you're not like sitting there writing out Long novels like how many of you are written out these like long paragraphs of like video content and then you go and you sit down to try to record and you're like i can't even like read through one sentence because it's just too much stuff right so having a
flow where you just have select bullet points that are organized in kind of a clear structure is what we want to Move toward and when you have this flow it gives you the ability to improv because when you have these bullet points that are there you're able to say all right these are the the top three things i have to accomplish these three bullet points but it gives you the freedom to add things in between so you can go a little off track but still have the guidance to say all right i can't go that
far off track i still have to accomplish The two or three things that i set out to from the onset right so when i'm talking about a few bullet points organized in a digestible clear structure i'm talking about using some sort of a template like this how many of you have have seen this template before you have okay i see some nods okay mostly everyone cool and in the in the skills up i go through an entire video Going through this and going through a couple other types of scripts that you could be using but
this is like the main script so like quick overview like you have the intro and welcome the crazy not to say promise we're like this is exactly what value you're going to get from the video the engaging question when you're creating conversation with your audience a quick overview of like what they can expect And then you're deep diving into the actual content right where you're giving examples and you're storytelling and you're making your big bold points that are teaching your audience something specific right so when we go when we're thinking about a flow and like
this is literally what i mean by when we have a fly i wish i should have had like a blank Template but when we're thinking about a flow it's not like writing out long paragraphs when we have our intro we're like all right uh you are putting like the most important things so you could put name and then key point one um from here you could write um like if you have if there's one piece of Your business that you wanted to emphasize so owner of x been around for x time so whatever authority building
thing you want to emphasize have that in one line right and then you've got again one line so if you're crazy not to say promise is like by the end of the video you'll have the top three ways to learn how to make better video content Then you're literally just putting top three ways to create better video content right it's not a whole long thing so it gives you the freedom where you're like all right this is what i have to get across but i could say it in whatever words that i want so it's
just bulleting through this so it's not what i want to stress here is It's when i use the word flow like i found it sounds very like woo-woo and like just do whatever you want but like in disney gives you flexibility but it's only going to work if you also have like structure to it like if there's structure to it and you allow yourself to move within like the kind of structure while you're while you're getting it off the ground all right is this making sense to Everyone questions okay all right so we've gone through
what the flow looks like and the reason i i really again just to drive this home like like and moving away from scripts and prioritizing these flows over script is because these scripts are tend to be like long sentences written out they tend to be meant to to be read like word for word so if you've ever like gone live or done A video and you have your script in front of you or like you've got like a prompter or something or you've got like a piece of paper printed and you're trying to read it
and if you like miss a line or you miss a word like you're screwed and you're like well i totally lost track of where i was going with that and you kind of like end up like freaking yourself out let me know if i'm if any of you have experienced that Before but i remember when i first started like my leadership coaching business i used to it used to take me hours to record a five minute youtube video because i would have these long scripts and then i would screw up by the two minute mark
and i'd be like oh well back to the drawing board and i'd have to do it like 20 times it was so ridiculous so I would ditch the long word for word type of thing and it requires more labor and editing like a bullet point takes 10 seconds to write maybe less a a script is going to take you a while if you have to write out word for word it's literally going to take longer it's going to suck up more of your time and then the last thing that i would just want all of
you to be aware of is like falling prey to this news anchor approach So online right now like there's a lot of competition right there's for the most part or industry you're in there's a lot of other people who are competing in that same area and like the thing that helps people stand out is that they come across authentically and they connect with their audience on a deeper heartfelt level no matter no matter what area you're in right and so if you are standing there Like a news anchor where you're like reading off a teleprompter
you're like very like rigid like it feels kind of uncomfortable and also sometimes like really inaccessible so even if your flow is like a little messy it still feels more human and like more yeah like more human i think that's the best way to say it let me know what you Guys prefer you do you guys prefer like more news anchory or more like authentic you can let me know in the comments which your which you kind of lean toward i know for me i'm definitely more i'd rather like the more authentic approach but i'm
curious to hear what you'd all say yeah i see lauren saying authentic cool um awesome all right so that's the first piece remember we're talking right now About three principles to making your content your video content creation more efficient so the first one is ditch the script stop trying to write up these long scripts they're going to take forever we're moving toward a flow instead all right the second piece and we kind of already touched on this so i won't go too in-depth is Knowing your framework and so what i mean by that is yes
it's a flow but like i said there needs to be some sort of like structure to it and so that means that like eventually in your head even if you wrote nothing like even if you did not prepare your brain should just sort of be like know exactly what boxes to check so if i were to like shut this down right like i'll move it away um and Let's say i was like all right i know that i need to go into this live and i want to talk about why scripts suck right let's just
go that route let's say i want to talk about my script suck and i didn't write a script i didn't crap i'm like in my car my brain would be like all right the first thing i need to do is hook my audience with the intro So i need to hook them with that bit like some question or big bold point that's gonna grab their attention because we only have five seconds to grab people's attention right from there i need to give them the crazy not to say promise and that's what's gonna incentivize them to
stay until the end so i'm like if you're someone who feels overwhelmed by script writing you're going to want to stick around to the end because i am talking about why we need To be moving away from these scripts and then from there i'm like all right from here i want to give my call to action and then after that i want to do some sort of engaging question i want to say you know something that's going to start a conversation and let allow me to get to know my audience better and then from there
i'm going to just deliver my one or two pieces of value that i wanted to give and that i wanted my Audience to take away so like i'm not looking at that right now but it's just so ingrained in like everything that i'm doing and that's how you want to operate is like yes your content will look very different person to person but overall regardless of what industry you're in generally that's the kind of flow that you want to have and when you have that kind of framework Really deeply like embedded in you and like
what you do and like you have a deep understanding of it it's gonna get much quicker like the process will get much quicker because you're not sitting there trying to reinvent the wheel every single time right um i'll give an example when i first quit my job i had like not no one or anything like i was alone i didn't have a team i went from having a huge team to no one and i was Like you know what i'm gonna go to toastmasters and i'm gonna like learn and get really good at public speaking
i'm going to make some friends it was an interesting experience um but it's where i learned a lot about public speaking to some degree and it was way harder than anything we do here because there was no structure to it they were like just write your speech and i was like okay so i'd write these long scripts and there was no Like anchors there was no point where i was like all right intro promise question like there was none of that it was just like deliver this thing which is much harder to remember right so
let me let me pause here because i know what i know i'm just giving a lot of uh a lot of content away right now i see a lot of people saying they prefer authentic mia beverly Awesome um very cool do we have questions on any of this stuff so far [Music] let me know if so i do alex yeah go for it so um so i've been using the like hashtag live hashtag replay cta for a while and it's been been really great like just you know for the most part getting a lot of
people Commenting but then i noticed lately fewer and fewer people doing it and i'm not sure why like i don't know i tried different ways of saying it like oh you know post replay so that i can acknowledge you we're here i love knowing who watches this even if it's like weeks later after i've posted let me know and then i've tried like okay you you commenting will help more people see this and that because that's kind of How things work here if you comment it allows more people to see this training so like i've
tried different things but now i just feel like as the more i do it the fewer people comment the fewer people do yeah so it could be the case you might need to like mix it up a little bit to be honest with you like i think we need to actually for something like that like look at like an example of a few of your videos that you've done so Like potentially like that's something we should audit in like one of like our live streams or something that we can look at um but it does
help to like vary it a little bit but aside from that it's hard for me to give you content without hearing like the actual context of it does that make sense yeah yeah yeah yeah what would be like a way of mixing it up though like so you could do like you could just i Would probably just keep the hashtag live or replay but then get your content and the feedback that you want through other means so like when we have this engaging question like rely on those engaging questions as well so like don't only
rely on one way to start to pump up like your engagement and also like remember engagement is superficial like it doesn't actually Mean anything unless it's leading to other types of things whether it's private conversations whether it's more meaningful relationships so like i would also add like what why you feel like you need the hashtag libraryplay versus generating other type of conversation yeah that's really a good point because i've been you know sitting with that question and some of it's ego but then another piece of me feels the stress of Like if if enough people
don't engage with my video then facebook won't show it to that facebook will show it to fewer and fewer people and therefore less and less people will be seeing my content yeah totally so i'm gonna pause this here because i want to make sure we can stay on track and it's a little off topic of what we're talking about now so let's see if we can save it to the end if we have some time at the end we can Circle back or we can address it on like another live or call that we have
upcoming is that all right with you lauren yeah yeah that's fine yeah okay cool um all right awesome okay so just to recap where we're at um okay so we went through already why scriptwriting so hard three principles to more efficient Uh content creation or video creation process we've gone through prioritizing the flow over the script mastering your framework that's the second piece and we're going to go through this last piece so i hope that the take away you all are getting from this last piece is like yes the content varies like week to week
on what you're teaching but the actual framework won't vary very Much right so you want to just go through that checklist in your head even if you had no script in front of you you want to just go through all of these kind of points and again in the skills up we go through this more in depth and next week we're going to go through this or sorry not next week in part 2 on the 18th we're going to go through this way more in depth as well okay last piece to creating efficient Video content
and this is probably i'm the most the thing i'm most excited about talking with you all about um and that's generating speed through clarity right and so i think a lot of times that one thing that i'll hear from students is that they just sometimes people just don't have enough to say or they don't have enough topics or they feel like they're Running out of topics or they feel like they just can't get their points across in like a concise and like really digestible type of way and that's why it's taking so long to come
up with content is because it's just like hard to get everything out there and one thing that i hear all the time is like i just don't have the words for it i just don't know how to say the thing And i wanted to kind of give a personal little i'm gonna undo this thing a personal little anecdote because when i first started creating content too i always like the one thing i always used to say and i realized how bad it is in hindsight but i'd always be like i just don't have the right
words to express this or i just don't know how to say this thing and when i was writing my first book i was In the six month like group coaching process and i was saying this all the time to my coach and he was like alex you do have the words he's like what do you mean i have the words and he's like we're gonna do an exercise right now he was like for five minutes what i want you to do is take out a piece of paper and you're gonna write out literally just journal
and like don't Stop writing for five minutes write out furiously it doesn't matter what it is just write out content right so we hit go and we have like three other people there and by the end of the five minutes we went and counted how many words we all came up with it was like 700 words 500 words 800 words someone had like a thousand words he was like all right the reason we did this is because you do have the words Words are easy good ideas are hard clear ideas are hard and so when
you're trying to come up with video content there's like this distinction between not having enough to say versus like having a really clear idea of what you want your audience to take away because if you are super crystal clear about what aha moment you want your audience to have and why The words come from there right like you'll be able to say things more concisely so if i know by the end of the video i want to give someone the top three reasons why scripts suck right now right those are my top three reasons and
it gets rid of like a lot of the fluff and a lot of the other stuff and it lets me clear a pathway to that one idea right so all of you do have the words And you do have the ideas but getting clear on exactly what you're trying to say is the hardest part but once you have that the words come fast and the writing comes fast and just going back to that example like in the the actual book writing process what was interesting and i'm using book writing it's the same thing for video
creation though we spent the first Three to four months of the program literally just talking literally just about the ideas and about who we were writing to and about what kinds of things we wanted to include and literally just getting clarity the actual process of writing the book was 30 days we spent three to four months getting that clarity once we had it the Whole thing got written in 30 days and it's the same idea with your video scripts like when you have that idea of exactly where you're going when you know what direction the
words and what you want for the video comes easily right is this making sense i'm not sure if this is totally clear but let me know if you have questions on it but this is so important you're going to generate Speed through that clarity and that's why these videos are only taking me now 15 minutes or less because i don't go in and i'm like hmm what do i want to say here's what i do instead here are the three questions i ask myself before i start the writing process before i start actually filling out
my little template That we talked about before so here's what i ask myself here's question number one what do i want to accomplish for my business in this video what am i trying to where am i trying to move people how does this one video fit into the customer journey right so is it like i am trying to get people in my bsl membership am i trying to get people my accelerator am i trying to just create more conversations And book people on calls just do a little audience building but i don't want to you
know pick up any new clients like what am i actually trying to accomplish with the video that's the first thing because remember we want to work backwards we want to say all right here's the outcome and then let's figure out what limiting beliefs we have to remove how we need to inspire people to move forward and what topics they need Clarity on to move forward because again the reason people don't move forward is because they're confused they're not sure how your thing or you are going to help them with what they need right so we
need to always be working backwards that's the first thing okay that's the first question second question what aha moments do i want my audience To have to help them move forward right so for example and you know i'll do the example after because i have a whole example but the the aha moment is essentially what takeaway do i want them to have what learning do i want them to have what small shift do i want them to have and that requires you to understand the full spectrum of transformation that happens with your client or avatar
dream audience member So if you are helping someone get from a to z you can't just understand a to z you need to understand b c d e f g h right like you need to understand all the nuance that gets people from a to z right and so you want to think about that whole process and say all right in this process what one small piece of the process can i Help debunk or help my audience understand on a deeper level okay so that's question two and then lastly question three what stories or examples
can i share to make my points like engaging and sticky because remember like we don't want to just talk at people like we want to give examples we want to make sure we're Storytelling we want to make sure we are making our content like stuff people are like actually interested to hear about so that's the last piece what examples do i have what stories do i have to back up my points that when people are listening again you want to remember people are going to be thinking how do you know this there's a lot of
info out there right now they're like how do you know this Thing like why should i believe this thing and so that's where your experience your breath of experience and your all that like come into play okay so let's do an example so let's say i was again going to create some content so let's say i want to sell memberships for this let's say i want to sell some video skill lab memberships right that's what i want That's my outcome that i am looking for from the video it's a conversion based video let's say i
decide that right that's my first question i'm answering ah okay here's my second question audience aha moment what aha moment do i want people have uh maybe it's that really powerful videos don't require Lots of tack and that there are three important things to master instead right and the reason that i'm saying this is because this is a huge limiting belief that my audience has this is something that's keeping them stuck right and some of you might have found me from like some of the like advertisements that i've done about like you don't need fancy
tech To create really powerful videos or maybe you've seen some of the ones that i've done but it the reason i have so many videos on this is because this is what keeps people stuck where they think they need fancy ring lights and cameras and like the best backgrounds and to be camera and makeup right like you just don't need any of that crap to like actually have really good quality videos like you can start with whatever you have Right and so that's my aha moment that i want to get across and so if i
know powerful video doesn't require tech i'm not going to stray from anywhere i'm just going to focus on that thing right and i know that if people don't feel inhibited by tech they're going to be okay moving and actually mastering then video and they'll be able to be able to move to that next step of buying a membership Okay and then let me give an example and then i'm like all right who's going to believe me right there's a million people out there a million gurus too out there who are like you do need ring
lights and you do need this and you need stream yard and you need all the things right so i need some sort of social proof some sort of way for me to be able to say all right Here's why i believe this to be true so i could give an example of one of my students jaya who literally went live for five minutes she was walking outside and had over a hundred comments on one of her videos using the template that i taught in one of my live video challenges right or i could talk about
how my first high ticket client ever online was literally from sitting on my couch with My cracked iphone right there's all these stories that i could think about that like people will remember that drive home this main point and do you see how simple it is like it's not anything complicated i'm just like what do i wanted to do for my business what aha moment do i want the audience to have and what's an example i could give to drive home my point And when you have clarity on these three things this writes itself okay
how are we feeling are we like you could give me a yes or no in the comments are we feeling skeptical about this taking 15 minutes are we feeling more positive about this and like more comfortable let me hear some uh let me get some feedback from all of you yeah it definitely makes sense Cool uh okay and in the three anchors here we'll go through this more in depth next time but the three anchors are basically like doesn't have to be three but the anchor is like your big bold point that you make so
if my point if what i want to get across by the end of the video is three things to do to make more powerful videos i'd be like all right here's Thing number one and then i would share a personal story and then reiterate why it matters here's point two but you don't have to do three the reason i like three is because you're not overwhelming where sometimes people are like here are the 12 different ways to do blah blah blah where it's like wow that's a lot or here are here's the number one way
which could be powerful or it could be Really disappointing if it's not robust enough which is why i like three so i hope that helps lauren cool um so i see someone saying so what i'm getting is that you work backwards from what your goal is then you decide the framework for your actual video yes and this is kind of a simplified version of this but always you want to make sure that you are working backwards Like we're not going live for our health right like we're not and like yeah it could be like a
fun thing to do but we're here like you're all you've joined this because you want to grow your business like you want to help more people you want to impact more people and it doesn't just happen from the content you create it happens when people engage in your products and your services on a deeper level right the Content is just there to get them to that next place so 100 you want to always work backwards and again i'll emphasize if you haven't and gotten to watch in the skills lab yet phase one where i go
through the entire blueprint and talk about how to work backwards from the outcome i think it was sandra who asked that question i would definitely recommend going through And and watching that okay cool so let's do a little practice right now are you all up for some practice we'll do some examples of just this and again we're just gonna do this and next part two we're gonna go into using these questions that we've come up with to write this out and then we're going to audit your scripts in part two So i promise we're going
to go more in depth we just can only go through so much in one day okay all right so what we're going to do right now is i'll give you all a few minutes we'll do answer these three questions so number one what do i want to accomplish for my business in this video and be really specific don't just be like get more clients like That says nothing that means nothing doesn't mean pick up one a better way to frame that would be pick up one client in my x program or sell five of x
products right like be really specific about what you're looking to do and then what aha moment do you want your audience to have to help them move forward so is it you know master the one strategy that's going to help them do x is it Uh help them understand why these three things don't do why right like give give us a sense of what you what learning you want them to have and then give like one example of a story that you could be or a case study to help really drive home your points okay
so i will give you all a minute and then once you're ready Just put like a ready in the chat like the word ready in the chat type it out and then we can go to you and we can do a little audit so i'm gonna go and mute for a minute okay so let's start with you lauren and as you all are working like put just put the word ready in the chat if you want to go through and even if you're stuck like let's just go through and i'll help you All right learn
uh so my what do i want i want to get them to attend my info faq session that i'm holding next week about my program that's my goal um so in the video i want to help them understand why the things that they've tried to resolve their foot pain like injections shockwave therapy orthotics Why they haven't worked yep so what would you do in that video um why is why shockwave therapy and injections don't work how many reasons how many what are like is it like three big things that people are doing now or how
many how many bad things are there that what are the main things i mean there are there are quite a few like things like um Yeah like shockwave therapy injections orthotics taping your feet icing your feet wearing compression socks even like pt going to pt like these are the things that people tell me they've tried by the time they come to me and none of these things have worked yeah okay so maybe you title it like it sounds like maybe you could have like Five big five big things maybe you could fit them into like
five categories or maybe like the five big myths about foot pain or the five big uh uh the five biggest failures of the foot pain industry and what to do instead like that and you could say something like if you've tried everything Jump into this video right now to learn what things aren't working and why mm-hmm yeah that's good yeah and then basically uh the example would be you know taking a client who when we first met she had already tried xyz and now she's running a marathon that's awesome yep and my my question to
you too is is your info session is it literally just About the actual program are you teaching like a system that you're using um this particular thing that i'm doing it's the first time i'm doing an info session about my program specifically i usually do a monthly webinar that's more of a training about the four ways to resolve your foot problems for good okay but i've been doing that like monthly for a year so i'm doing an info session to try to get some of those people who are i've already been to my webinar you
Know they're familiar with my approach but they yeah they're on the fence and i want to push them over the fence okay this is a little off topic but just just some food for thought is and take this how you all i think the info session sounds really boring and so what i would say is yes you want to have an info session but you always want to be thinking like what is in it for them so like If you have some sort of system like signature system because you said the four ways to resolve
your pain or whatever like i would teach a system there so then like see how they fit into that system and like in that system like input like how your program addresses each thing i'm not sure if you structure it that way or if you're calling it like a listed info session so my my webinar is more like here's the Four things you need to do to resolve your food problems for good and then um and then at the end i just talk about like if you want to learn more about my program that addresses
these things book a call so we can talk about it that's like the flow of my webinar this again is just more straight out like here's the history of the program here's why i created it um here's what You get here's what we do here's what i teach you um and if you want to move forward again book a call and we can get you signed up so it's like it's definitely like very different okay does that make sense yeah yeah it does it does make sense okay yeah okay cool thank you um yeah all
right let's see uh all right bubba you want to go next Sure all right why don't you go through your three okay okay number one i want to sell 10 living water machines over the next three months okay number two is to understand that pure and alkaline water is better for them and what would your video title be Um i don't know what the title would be i'm still working on that i guess i would want to probably say something about uh alkaline water and what it does for people and the good things that it
does okay and what's an example of your and the number what's number three for you number three would be Stories and examples of people who are using living water and how it has helped them including almost all of major league baseball has on our devices and they use them and a bunch of other examples and stories for other people and what they've experienced okay that's your title then then your title is how the how how the mlb Is using alkaline water to boost players performance or to keep their players hydrated or healthy and how we've
now and how we can now do the same for you in your home even if you don't play baseball that is awesome and you see what i mean like it like writes itself like once you have this stuff like it's just easy to come up with What these topics are yeah that makes it a whole lot easier love it cool thanks thanks for uh being an example thank you yeah did anybody else want to go if even if you're struggling like let's help you yeah beverly let's do it okay i'm struggling but um number one
i want Them to join a fibromyalgia pacing challenge okay that that's the point uh i'm not kind of sure what the aha well i have five key points that will um pre if they follow will prevent them from having to cancel special occasions sorry uh let me start again if you have Fibromyalgia like i have you constantly cancel things because you're tired exhausted unwell or whatever so you you avoid special occasions and all your family and friends get fed up with you but if you've learned how to pace properly you you can successfully attend um
the events so so that's That's kind of what i want to do now number three i i've got several examples of people who have paced properly and like being able to attend their first special event in three or four years so so but i don't know what the aha moment is the aha moment i think you've said it well it's like you you can attend family events and not be Burnt out okay yep right like that sounds like what it is so maybe this is your video title yeah something like case study how ex client
went from burnt burn out of family events Constantly or and constantly canceling to what's the after uh to attempting um daughter's uh daughter's wedding not daughter's wedding uh uh it was daughter's graduation i mean it was you know family affairs Yeah so how ex-client went from oops from burnt out at family events and constantly canceling to joyfully attending family affairs and quit getting the family gills or something like yeah that sort of thing that's great there you go so you have now that you Have that clarity like you have exactly what you're doing cool that
looks good thank you that's great okay let's go to you next mia and if anyone has stuff you can put ready or raise your hand all right mia go for it okay okay now uh my topic is still i want to register uh five individuals for my 15 day wellness and weight loss account accountability um And i am also struggling with the aha moment but my example would be of showing how individuals has taken small steps within 15 day increments and they've increased their uh their confidence and they're also dealing with one of the key
things that i've found is the increase in confidence and less feeling of depression so what What's keeping them stuck why haven't they joined like what do they need to understand in order to be able to move forward into your challenge because if this is the solution right like why isn't everybody doing it well i guess that's what i'm struggling with so i think the big piece of it that i'm seeing as helping is the accountability the actual uh Support and they're not the in the ones that participate not feeling like they're out there by themselves
let's not even worry about the people who are participating let's worry about the people who aren't in it right so usually when you're trying to get people to move forward the biggest thing is you want to really ask yourself like what is keeping People stuck why aren't they moving forward what commonly held beliefs do a lot of people have and regardless of industry a lot of them are i don't have enough time i don't know if i have enough money i don't know if i have enough support i don't know if i have to be
super talented or skilled in a certain area regardless right whether it's weight loss or whether it's learning video we Both me mia you and i both have to tackle those things for our unique audiences so what i would do for one of your videos is you could do something like feel like you don't have enough time in the day to get your workouts in if that's you tune in because i'm going to share with you how my clients in the challenge are doing it in 10 minutes a day okay Is that making sense yes yes
so when i when we talk about clarity and we talk about knowing what direction we're going and clarity is also like knowing what's keeping your audience stuck uh-huh and being able to just be really focused on what that looks like Okay does that make sense all right yeah i get it because i do know one of the biggest things is time and sometimes my time and money um yeah yeah okay gotcha awesome cool all right yeah you're so welcome we'll go christine and then hebrew hi Um so i guess my number one is i'm wanting
them to join um my two week i give like a two week free exercise um trial to our online exercise program um and for number two the aha moment is really we we specialize in people with parkinson's disease so exercise is the Key like if they're if they're not exercising their parkinson's will progress faster but that's still not enough for a lot of people so i was listening to what you just said to the last lady about what's keeping people stuck and you know i i've heard every excuse um in the book so i'm wondering
i think i'm missing some like key words because i i can't just loosely say Exercise is the number one thing you need to be doing right now so what are what are the top three things the top three excuses right now uh i would say time like they're not prioritizing exercise i think they don't know what kind of exercise because there's an intensity behind it that thing it's the right type of exercise they have to be doing parkinson's specific exercise not Just going for a walk around the block or and three would probably be money
because of the clientele it's an older clientele that that i'm working with and then money would be an issue it has been uh yes yeah it is okay um sorry so the three are not sure what type of exercise to do not sure what Type of intensity and money yes well no time time is in there like prioritize the number one yeah okay and have you tested all these before i definitely have maybe not so much in videos as much as i should hence why i'm in this but i think i do it more with
like content and putting up testimonials from people that are in our program um Yeah okay i would if i were you one more testing video content because like when you're new to doing video like you almost want to like go in with a blank slate and you want to be like all right like i'm just here to test like your first 10 videos like you're just testing you're just like all right what works let me figure out like what the best how how i flow well and like what's going to Resonate with my audience so
i would for your first like 10 come up with like all the excuses so maybe one of them is again feel like you just don't have enough time feel like you don't have enough energy or something like that and don't i think for what you're doing christine too because like there's a lot like if they're following a lot of health and fitness people they're probably hearing A lot of this stuff and it can just go one in one ear out the other so you gotta like differentiate yourself too and you can do that by honing
in on more specific pain points so one thing that really stuck out was when you said a walk around the block is not enough that could be a video title that's more powerful than saying what kind like how what exercise you do Matters okay right so like if you're able to say maybe you do it like this uh stop scrolling or something i think a walk around the block is enough to s is the right way to say it slow down your parkinson's or manage oops or maybe it's Instead of stop scrolling important question think
a walker on the block is enough to slow down parkinson's if you're nodding your head yes stick around because you might not realize how you're sabotaging your progress or something like that Okay and so this is just a video that i would that i would do and put out or yes and am i putting much content when i'm putting the video out like you know when you have the choice to put content and then add the video or is this a live what do you mean content and then add the video or like text You're
saying do i make it do you create a post and then edit the post and input a video yeah what you're saying why would you do that oh no i think i'm trying to be clear about when i do post a video like in my in my facebook group do i just post a video answering these questions like spitting out what we're talking about now and i'm just wondering what text do i put or Do i just put the video like is it important to add text oh my gosh yeah yeah okay i understand you're
you're saying do the does description above the video matter is that your question yes like i'm wondering what am i putting that versus what's in the video okay oh god i got it okay so number one the description that's above your video is like incredibly important incredibly it is the way you get people to stop scrolling And if you put yourself in your audience members shoes if you use if they're scrolling on by and they just see your talking head there's no incentive for them to stop like why should they stick around and listen right
so it is so important so generally and i actually have like a video in the skills lab on how to formulate the description i go i have all the templates but Generally you want to go through and you want to have the hook which is something like this think around think a walk around the block is enough to slow down your parkinson's after that you want to give the crazy not to stay promised right if you're not in your head yes stick around because i'm going to tell you how you're sabotaging your progress that's what
you're going to learn And then lastly you can say the call to action you can be like want want a free two-week trial comment trial and i'll personally send it to you okay and then so that's the text but then so the video am i reiterating that in the video yeah 100 okay okay just trying to be clear That i'm understanding what you're saying okay perfect yeah so this is like the spark notes version of what you're talking about in the flow of the video so then you'll go way more in depth but like if
that's part of this process it's like a lot of times people's videos are like flunking because they don't have this title optimized and so people don't know what the heck you're talking about right they're not it's not appealing to them and so You're not getting the engagement that you want gotcha okay that's clear thanks so much yeah you're so welcome okay um who's next ebu you want to go next yeah sure thank you yeah you're welcome so my first one will be in terms of what i want to accomplish is getting at least one person
to a private Call with me where i will present my business and will get the chance to personalize how the business itself could meet their needs around travel um the aha moment is how much money actually they are living on the table uh booking travel through big booking engines instead of having their own And you know like not getting the commission themselves or selling trouble to other people so basically making and saving money through travel is the aha moment um in terms of stories and examples i was thinking of talking about how i did save
300 pounds from a week's holiday in dubai or how i stayed in a five-star hotel for the price of trista hotel um And you know lots of similar other those are the two i love it so you're what you're trying at the aha moment is you can actually like trips don't have to be expensive and there's ways that you can save money in the process right yep exactly what's what's the title and what's the what wrap it all up now what's the title that it's going to bring this home for us Are you planning to
go on a holiday just stop you could be saving hundreds no no first thing but yeah isn't it um think about the best way to create titles is to think about the content and what stood out to me was when you said i saved 300 bucks on my last trip so i would make that the title i'd be like Um i just or i would say something where did you go again bro dubai okay um how i saved 300 bucks on my last trip to dubai and the three things that i tell my travel agent
clients to do when they want to take beautiful trips That don't break the bank okay so then again the customer journey because when we say travel agent clients did you mean the customers who booked travel with me or my business however you would say it okay clients customer whatever yep and so that's the biggest thing i hope what you're all seeing is like when when we're picking out titles and like what To focus on in the video like that's why it's so important to have like that example because when you're like how people are saving
money like again maybe if this was like 10 years ago like nobody's like online wasn't as active but everybody if people are in the travel agent space there's tons of people they're listening to so when you can hook them in with these stories and these detail it's going to Be more compelling than just being like save money save money like everybody's saying that got you okay thank you yeah okay our last person we're gonna go to demida and then we are going to pause for today so domino you want to wrap us up here all
right i'll do my best um you know i am selling five dollar jewelry that's the the Vehicle that i use to sell confidence um but i'd like to be able to sell uh 20 pieces in a show so that would generally mean that i need to show about so i'm doing a live sale is what i do i need to show maybe 100 pieces uh and so i need to sell 20 of them sure when i am um [Music] So what i do to um to make it engaging is i can can give stories of
how i've seen my uh customers you know actually their eyes light up and their smiles get bigger when they before we even go there let's go to two because now we know what you want to accomplish for your video what's the main aha moment you want your audience to have in this one video example I want them to it's in my opinion it seems like so much it revolves around their seeing something that they like so their aha moment needs to be oh that's a cute item i like that and so why is that keeping
them stuck though well i think that what they're stuck on is i think that either they don't see anything they're like uh quite frankly many of them that are Shopping already everything everybody knows about five or six people that are selling this piece so some are just shopping around for photos that they can take to their uh consultant that they already have but let's focus on the people who are like there for the right reasons so usually right like think about like when you're selling a Product you're not just selling a product you're solving a
problem right so you said it yourself like confidence is the thing they're really buying right i love that you say that and so people who have a lack of comments or like maybe don't aren't feeling good about themselves right when they're looking to jewelry like what are some of the things that tip them over with their decision And maybe problems they're trying to solve are like feel like you're struggling to match your jewelry to your outfit on date night feel like you don't know what to get your mom for mother's day like what problems are
there in the industry that like you can help them solve while you were kind of live selling some of this stuff well it's kind of like uh you know if at a bargain price you'd Have a personal shop or you know let me style you let me style your outfits let me take you from a lot of bling and 15. you know it's that kind of thing uh you can you know i'm here to uh help you make better choices that choices that are going to make you feel good about uh the way you look
the the way you present yourself and and that yeah so maybe one of your aha moments and you Said this is like with confidence maybe you can say in your video title maybe your your title something like news flash you're not buying jewelry you're buying confidence here's how these jewelry pieces have taken me from you know feeling shy to snazzy i don't know like you probably have a better adjective but you get the point okay What do you think i like that i do yeah because that's uh that's really true yeah all of the everybody
everybody blossoms once they start to wear this they do totally uh you're not buying okay news flash you're not just buying jewelry you're buying confidence yeah so say That really like that's a really powerful way to hook people in i think i like god love it can i give an idea just something came up to my mind i thought it might be helpful go for it in terms of jewelry i remember um like searching online what to um combine with what kind of because i really struggle what necklace To wear depending on what dress i
wear for example having a you know like straight breasts sometimes you want that bit to pop up for example and finding the right piece gives me confidence so something like that what kind of outfit to combine with which kind of necklace or earrings you know if somebody had a short neck what kind of Earring they could wear to show it longer you know those kind of stuff yeah i love that right and i uh i do some schedules some educational uh types of videos where i talk about those things i do a post that i
call tip tuesday and i would typically just post pictures but i'm going to start to schedule events where instead i would address things like um earrings that will flatter uh the shape Of your face um what necklace to wear with the neckline of your uh outfit you know those types of yeah i do those types i'm going to do those in video i've been doing those pictures but i am going to start doing those in videos awesome love it thanks for that and my my plan is to do schedule those uh when i do those
type of videos it's going to be an event Perfect well very exciting awesome um well i hope this was helpful for all of you thank you i'm sorry yeah i know you're fine you're so welcome i hope you all enjoyed part number one of this entire of this first workshop i'll post the replay either today or tomorrow right after this fun little fun fact uh we're going to adopt a dog a new little husky puppy right after this so Either tonight or tomorrow and i'll post some pictures of that i'm super excited um but um
