come the 20th of January it's very likely that cryptocurrency as a sector is going to see some big changes that is of course the day that Trump will take office as the president but don't forget there's also going to be a new chair of the SEC since Gary gendler will be stepping down on the very same day and so January is already shaping up to be a pretty interesting month this can also benefit some of the altcoins out there of course for example there's one altcoin that has a whole bunch of ETF approvals that are due after Trump's inauguration and then we have another token that's going to get a binance listing and of course with reasons like these we do expect to see a corresponding pump for these tokens for these reasons and more we're counting down some of the most important looking at salana whose ticker of course is Saul this is of course a major Blue Chip project it's a big boy but it's got a very exciting year ahead uh and especially on the 23rd of January that's when a lot of the excitement gets underway with preliminary Decisions by the SEC because that's when the salon ETF approvals are due the first one up is going to be grayscale and they want their salana trust fund converted into a salana ETF then only two days later on the 25th of January four other big players have their first approval day with the SEC those being van 21 shares Canary and bitwise who applied for salana ETF on the 21st of November 2024 now the SCC formally accepted these applications uh on the same day and now within 45 days the SEC must at least make an initial decision and again that's due on the 25th of January now don't forget there's going to be a new SEC chair in place and so realistically in all likelihood it's going to be too early to expect immediate decisions and approval but that being said it's going to be a good introduction for Paul Atkins who's going to be the new SEC chair and realistically he has three options for this salana ETF he can either approve it or reject it uh but in all likelihood I think that they're going to take more time option three to review the applications this is uh very probable it's certainly the most likely of the three options however it may set the tone for the remainder of the year because we may see more ETF applications uh hopefully eventually we'll also see some approvals but certainly more applications are very likely the only curveball here uh and kind of negative situation that we can Envision hypothetically uh is if Gary gendler decides to reject them as a Parting Gift in that case the app applicants would need to refile their applications I don't think that's going to happen uh but that would be a weird kind of negative uh curveball not that we anticipate it altcoin number two here to keep on your radar this January is Ono Finance ticker Ono o n d o and with this project we have of course one of the leaders in the rwa space that's real world assets and as you probably know Ando is ranked second only behind Mantra however there are a few reasons out there that would suggest Ando Finance is going to experience a pretty healthy price pump this January first of all we have Trump's World Liberty Financial defi platform ticker WLFI Welly get it remember that this platform bought for $250,000 worth of Ando on the 16th of December a few weeks ago and so to clarify uh the new US president bought this token and so far WLFI only bought six different tokens Ando oo is one of them another reason to be optimistic about the price of Ando is that there's a massive token unlock that's coming up for oo this is happening on the 18th of January Ando will unlock no fewer than 1. 94 billion oo tokens and at the current price of Ando . 55 as I record were're looking at an unlock valued at about $3 billion and of course at first you'd expect the price to dump uh after an unlock event that's uh kind of part for the course however that is also a great opportunity to buy the potenti potential Ono dip if and when it happens Let's uh hypothetically say that it will again that's just a buying opportunity in case you already own Ando uh you may want to consider selling your
