I want to learn about like Christianity and Muslim uh Islam and then make a decision after that about what sounds believable and what doesn't and I know many things about Islam because my dad's Muslim and he's been trying to teach me there's nothing really that I don't like it's just that I'm I would say I'm under knowledged about it and W from the bottom of my heart inshallah I I I can see inshallah with Allah's will that you will accept Islam very soon Theodore yeah nice to meet you nice to meet you and you're visiting
from Sweden oh from Sweden okay that's really nice so I think your question was um why am I a Muslim yes and it's a really good question mallah very good question and actually it's not just a question for because you're not Muslim right my dad's Muslim my mom's Christian I live with my mom you haven't decided yet right I don't know yet I understand but you know it's not just a good question from a non-muslim to a Muslim but it's a good question even for a Muslim to ask another Muslim now the reason why I'm
saying that is that you have to be in Islam not just spiritually or emotionally convinced but you should be intellectually convinced as well in other words the arguments for something have to make sense and they have to have evidence that's very important yeah so what are the evidences that I as a young man like yourself when I was uh growing up in England what were the evidences that I found that convinced me that Islam was actually true and that this is uh this is indeed from Allah from God alight so the biggest thing for me
was that I haven't seen the prophets and I haven't seen their miracles so I can't judge uh if Jesus brought somebody back from the dead or if Moses he split the Seas you know if the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him he did Miracles as well you know where he cured people or he fed people or whatever it might be right but there is a miracle today we believe which is the Quran which claims to be a miracle and it claims that if you are an honest person a truthful person and you analyze it that
you will come to the conclusion that it is also a miracle now what are some of the things that are miraculous about the Quran there's a few things number one is the language itself now you might what my dad all the time now you might say well how can a language be a miracle now if you look for example at the words that we have recorded of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and you look at the words that are recorded of the Quran I think some 80 85% of the words that the prophet
used in his own speech are not found in the Quran the quranic language itself is different from the speech of Muhammad peace be upon him so now one of the one of the questions one of the questions arises how does somebody constantly differentiate between his own speech using a different grammar using different grammatical rules and even 80 85% of the times using different words words for a revelation that he's saying that he's receiving from his own speech it's quite a remarkable thing right now you might be able to do it for one word two words
five words 10 words but the Quran is nearly 880,000 words yes yes and the Quran was revealed over 23 years so how do you manage to do this for 23 years when sometimes many of the verses that are being revealed are not even being revealed um you know uh inconsequentially in other words there's somebody's asking you a question and some verses are revealed there and then as an answer sometimes an event unfolds and some verses are being revealed there and then so it's a consequential revelation not only that I want you to just think about
this very carefully now now you have 114 chapters in the Quran yes revealed over 23 years there are no chapter numbers and there are no verse numbers when the when the Quran is being revealed and the verses in each chapter are not revealed in order so the second chapter in the Quran has 286 verses that chapter was revealed over 10 or 12 years whilst other chapters are being revealed at the same time and the verses are not being revealed in order and the prophet is just saying these verses go after those verses and before these
verses and the whole Quran is completed in this way would you ever be able to make sense of the Quran after 23 years if it was revealed in this way would you ever have a flow in the language like what we see in the Quran where you retain the eloquence the meaning uh the depth where you differentiate the words and not only that but when it's completed it becomes the first book in the Arabic language it becomes the most eloquent speech by which all Arabic is now measured and not only that but the Arabs themselves
both Muslim and non-muslim regard the Quran outside the capacity of human beings even the non-muslim Arab he turns around and says this book is Magic because these words cannot come from a human being because of the sheer eloquence complexity the novelty and the Very grammar so in Arabic they had a certain grammatical rules of how to constract the language the Quran doesn't conform to those rules it's a new way of writing the language itself now I'm going to ask you a question is that something that is reasonably possible for somebody to do doesn't seem that
way no no now in the Quran you have aspects of History mentioned that were lost and only a thousand years later 1200 years later those verses are confirmed because we have ancient languages that are now being translated we have Prophecies of things to happen that come true now would you be able to do that no so there are so many layers of I would say evidences or Miracles that are outside of the capacity of what you would reasonably expect a human being to be able to do and so this is why the Quran has a
challenge Allah says if you are truthful come up with the Quran like it then Allah lowers a challenge if you are truthful come up with 10 chapters like it then Allah lowers the challenge come up with one chapter like it the shortest chapter of the Quran is three verses [Music] now if you are a fraud and you're a liar would you ever suggest such a challenge because okay you may be able to convince the people that like you or the people that are brainwashed or whatever but would you ever convince an enemy to accept your
religion on this challenge he would say what are you talking talking about he's defeated you he's defeated you they defeated you everyone's defeated you're a liar nobody's going to accept your religion especially if they're your enemy but even the enemy said W they said these words are magic they didn't say they're from God because they didn't want to attribute prophethood to the prophet peace be upon him but they conceded that they're not his words they conceded these are not the words of any Jin they conceded these are not the words of any man they conceded
the this is some sort of magic Muhammad is using magic sallahu alh wasallam his words are magic sallallahu alaihi wasallam now what I'm going to ask you is if everything I've said to you is true I want you to go and test it it's very easy for me to make lots of claims I want you to go and talk to the non-muslim Arabic linguist and I want you to investigate what they say about the Arabic of the Quran and then you make up your mind because if I what I've told you is true would that
convince you [Music] yeah so that's for me that's one of the evidences and I haven't even gone into all of the other intricate he's got one has he yeah I haven't gone into all of the other intricate masah miracles of the Quran I could mention many more one example would be a professor Raymond Farin he was not a Muslim and was studying classical Arabic uh poetry and somebody said suggested to him why don't you look at the Quran so he studied the Quran he studied the structure of the Quran and he found found very complex
um uh very complex uh structures within the language he found something called parallelism so you know you have two verses and they reflect uh or they they are a reflection upon the two verses before and then you have something called uh concentric patterns which are rings and kism these are the sort of things that he found you can go and study his works is by Professor Raymond Farin I remember that after he studied this structure he became Muslim he said that the way the Quran was revealed like I explained to you random verses coming down
chapters coming down simultaneously over 23 years just oral tradition memorization okay he said it's impossible to get such complex such complex uh you know um um uh groups of patents happening in this way now all of the things I told you before this is one extra thing so when we add all this evidence together I think it becomes unchallengeable that this book is not from Muhammad sallah alhi wasallam this book is not from a human being this book claims the inimitability challenge come up with a book like it come up with 10 suras like chapters
like it come up with one chapter like it it it challenges the now you don't find this challenge anywhere else in any of the other scriptures you don't find this challenge come and produce a Bible like it produce just one book like it produce just one chapter like it so what you have to I think what a person should do is investigate these challenges investigate these uh and if the evidence is very profound and it seems that it's unreasonable to accept the alternative which is that it's just man-made and it's just come from you know
people or whatever then accept it insh what do you think about what I've said so far um I understand the most like the most of the things that you've said but there's also some things that didn't really understand understand because yeah it's a lot a lot of information in one go my apologies I tend to overload sometimes he's also only 13 I thought he was I thought he was like 16 or 17 told you that okay but he has a lot of Inquisition do you do you have any questions about Islam um anything you've heard
maybe or you're worried about or you've been think about or maybe somebody said to you what something like that uh something I heard earlier was that Jesus was supposed to come back in the end of world and have and get married and have kids he said so we believe that Jesus peace be upon him had a very short Mission when he was here but and Allah took him to the heavens because Allah saved him from crucifixion we believe that but we believe that when he comes back he will marry he will have children in other
words he will have a normal life and he will also taste death because we in the Quran Allah tells us every soul will taste death so all of the prophets but we don't believe that Jesus is dead at the moment we believe that he didn't die he was not killed and that God saved him so we believe that in Islam the prophet Muhammad peace upon him said half of your IM half of your belief is getting married so we are in courage to get married because it stops us from doing so many bad things when
we're married we have a we we only have that relationship with one woman our wife we have children we have families it's a it's now even within let's say non-muslim circles they recognize that this is a more a more let's say holistic and a more fulfilling way of living your life and it's a better life for your children as well to have children and to have a married couple together so yes we do believe that about Jesus that he'll come back and he will have a normal life we do believe that um what do you
know about Islam that you like or what do you know about Islam that you're perhaps you don't like or you're confused about I know many things about Islam because my dad's Muslim and he's been trying to teach me but um there's nothing really that I don't like it's just that I'm I would say I'm undern knowledged about it I don't really I haven't like I haven't read the Quran you don't have to read the Quran to be Muslim but I haven't really I haven't been I want to learn about like Christianity and Muslim uh Islam
and then make a decision after that about what sounds believable and what doesn't and from the words that You' have been saying I understand more and I'm going to search up Professor Ammond after this yeah and uh from the words that my dad's been saying I think to me Islam is the right choice for now like what I've heard and what I've like heard about Christianity for example that that's a very good M answer you know for me there are two very very important ways of finding the truth so number one is the way you
have said I will study Buddhism Hinduism Sikhism Christianity I will study as many religions as I can and then I will make my mind up that's one way of doing it the other way of doing it is you know there seems to be a long a lot of strong Arguments for Judaism Christianity and Islam and Islam seems to be a religion that seems to be growing faster than any other religion right of these religions let me if I can prove that Islam is true then the others cannot be fully true they cannot be completely true
or they're not true in the way they are today so there's two ways of proving something so for example let's say you want to find out the uh boiling point of water what temperature does water boil at right so you can say I'm going to test one degree 2° 3° 4° 5° and after maybe a few days I'll get to 100° and then I'll realize oh yes it boils at 100° yes or you can hear strong arguments that it boils at 100° and you can start first with 100° now if it does boil at 100°
you can actually say Okay water boils at 100° that's evidence for me right that this is true now what I'm saying to you to do is look at other religions as well it's not a problem I'd say have a quick look at Islam and just see if it boils at 100° that's a great yeah because you can then what you can do is if you say yes I've studied Islam I think it's the truth let me find out now what are the strong and the weak Arguments for Christianity let me find out what the strong
and the weak arguments Judaism are and that way you save yourself a lot of time I think he he asked the Christian man over there what was the Chris you were asking the Christian man I asked him who Jesus was and they said God and I asked them who the Holy Spirit was and they said God and then I asked them who Jesus father was and they said God and that's the part I don't understand cuz I believe there's one God but they can't be three of them right yeah he didn't have an answer for
that yeah he just said thank you have a good day and then I just walked away yeah and this is the thing you see look the very basic fun fundamental foundational concepts of the religion should be clear if you ask me what is the concept of God in Islam Allah in Islam I will simply give you a very short chapter of the Quran you know very very simple say he is Allah the Eternal the absolute Allah he Beth not nor is he begotten and there is nothing comparable to him very simple concept you can understand
it I can understand it you know say he is one he is eternal he's absolute very easy what does the word one mean one and only yeah it doesn't mean that in everyone's understanding this is three this is not one this is five this is one and if this becomes this and you have to believe that this is actually this this is a problem because it goes against every understanding every notion that you have from the most foundational concepts of basic arithmetic and math but in Islam we don't have this confusion so I know that
our Christian friends they like to say no we believe in one God but we believe in this concept of three persons yes but listen if I think about God the Father I have a certain image in my mind yeah maybe it's like smoke or whatever now with a Christian it's like it looks like a human being millions of times bigger than a man with the Earth as his foot stol if I say Jesus you have a mental image in your mind of a man handsome tall usually white even though he wasn't white right if I
said to you Holy Ghost you have an image in your mind no matter how hard you try you can't make those images One image they're separate and you have Jesus talking to the father so one is communicating with the F and they the same it doesn't make sense so we don't accept this concept and Allah says very clearly in the Quran do not say three desist hold back don't say this this is a this is a great uh uh you know this is this is Blasphemous a Blasphemous statement that that comes out of your mind
your mouths so Allah warns us and if you look at for example all of the prophets you see this is very interesting what did all of the prophets teach us God is one who do they who do they teach us to worship God alone so any religion or anyone that tells you to do something that all of the prophets did not tell you to do I think it's logical to say well that can't be right does that does that make sense to you so inah you know um what I would say to you is that
whatever whatever you feel is stopping you from accepting Islam do ask those questions address those issues inshallah but I would say don't take too long and don't necessarily rush into something but be uh a little bit active eager because otherwise what happens is you're 13 then you become 15 then you become 25 then you you're working now you're busy you know what I I'll think about it maybe in a couple of years and then you become old like me right and then before you know it the angel of death is coming knocking on your door
and now you're thinking now you feel the regret oh maybe I should have looked at it sooner you know so that's all I would say to you you know if I said to you as a 13-year-old I'll show you a way of making money lots of money you just do this on the computer you do and you and you think yeah you know I could do this you will spend many hours trying to research and because you want to benefit right what's the benefit of you dying as a Muslim and what do you get for
that that is more benefit than any amount of money you can have so what we should try to do is spend the maximum amount of time finding out about that because it's the greatest benefit to us because it gives you success in this world and it gives you success in the Hereafter which is eternal forever the benefit of that we cannot measure right I think one of the biggest challenges that he's experienced more than think is growing up in Sweden yes we we I've heard it can be difficult there we we lived originally in Uganda
East Africa when he was first born he was living with me there and then his mom moved back to Sweden about the age of five so every from like the age of 2 till about 5 he was praying Juma with me every day oh nice you know he doesn't remember but he does remember a little bit you know and since then it's been very short verse of visits and interaction understand cuz I only just move back to the UK so Uganda to Sweden's a long distance it now it's 2 hours so it's a it's a
lot nicer now yeah we have more time and I think the biggest challenge he's had is understanding how to be Muslim in Sweden yeah and then whenever I see him you know the things we talk about I'm like you know is it Halal where you're eating is and I don't I tell him look don't worry this aren't the most is the most important thing is you've got to take the first step exactly yeah don't worry about all of the other steps I'll tell you why let's say you have to take a a train journey or
a flight you had to fight you flow you flew here on a plane okay before you leave the house there's two or three things that are very important you've got to have right what are they you must have these things otherwise you can't fly Keys your keys yeah phone phone passport you mean leaving the house like normal no I'm saying before you fly there are certain things you have to have otherwise you can't fly Keys phone passport passport ticket suit ticket suit I would say the most crucial things you need is the passport and the
ticket because the other things your dad can say okay let's take you to the shop I'll get you some clothes you understand your phone don't worry I'll get you a cheap phone for like pay as you go 30 40 quid we'll get you a local Sim you can still speak to your mom whatever right you can get by right accepting Islam now you got the passport and the ticket now the boarding pass to get on the plane to get to jender to get to Paradise this is where you got to do all of the other
steps inshallah but don't worry about what color is the plane going to be what color are the seats going to be uh is there going to be turbulence in the in the air what's the inlight menu you understand don't worry about those things because those things are not a consequence of you accepting it in the beginning in other words even if there's a bit of turbulence you're still on the plane even if the color of the seats is not very nice you're still on the plane you you you fulfilled your fundamental uh objective in in
Sweden let's say you become Muslim you can't find Halal food easily it's a bit difficult have fish if you don't like fish have something vegetarian if you can't find Halal food go on the internet find out Halal restaurant oh it's not that far away I can get there a Halal Cafe I can oh I can get there or or I can order this on the internet excellent okay don't worry about those things what I would say to you is just get the ticket and the passport and also you don't I would say also just to
add to that CU his his other family his grandmother they're all from Christian background okay and atheist background okay so his biggest worry also is how could he ever how can he communicate Islam to that now don't worry about he worries about he worries about the rift and like brother bash said it's don't even tell anyone yeah you don't you you don't need to you're of an adult age you're 1 turning 140 you're making sound decisions you can make your decisions and not tell anyone until you're ready to yeah so even people who are 20
30 40 they accept Islam and they know that that at the moment it's a delicate time because they don't they don't uh fully have the ability to be able to explain Islam because they don't have the knowledge or whatever it might be they hold back you don't need to tell your family immediately all you need to do though make sure you have the ticket and the passport make sure you have the ticket and the passport then inshallah as you get a little bit older you learn more you learn more you learn more and then you
know you slowly have the discussion when you're ready and if it might be 2 years it might be 10 years it doesn't matter but you just the one of the beautiful things about Islam it doesn't put pressure on you yeah it doesn't say that if it's going to cause problems in the family that you have to go and tell everybody yes I'm Muslim absolutely you don't have to as long as you're sincere with the Creator yeah that's the important thing so but the other thing is this is very important as well we are told that
on the day of judgment some people will be questioned by Allah why did you stay quiet on such and such matter why did you not speak out the person would say it was because of the reaction of the people the people around me they would have reacted maybe harshly badly Allah will remind that person say to that person it was better that you feared me Don't Fear the reaction of the people fear Allah more love Allah more that's important you know so for example if your friends are with you and um your father says something
to you and you don't like it and you decide to stay quiet because you don't want to be rude to your father in front of your friends and your friends say to you why did you stay quiet man why didn't you just tell you know and he say no no I respect him he's my father I can't speak to him especially in front of people especially in front of people right it's better for you to respect your father better than you respect your friends in the same way it's better for you to respect Allah more
than anything else or anyone else you know when we come here and we talk about Islam sometimes the people they call us y you guys are all crazy you're brainwashed you don't you guys are backward you're medieval you know they we don't care you know why because I Do It For the Love of Allah I do it because to please Allah I don't care about these people or what they have they think about me the second I think about what they think more than what I'm doing here I shouldn't be here any longer because my
intention is change now now I'm doing it for a reaction now I'm doing it for praise and I and I end up losing everything I'm doing so never care about what the people say to you if you're doing something right correct only care when you're doing something wrong that was a good way of putting it yeah if you're doing something wrong then you should care you should care that people are saying this is very bad what you just did there you should say yes you know what I was wrong I shouldn't have done that but
when it's something good if the whole world stands around you and they condemn you it is better for you to let them condemn you as long as you are connected to your creator but if you're not connected to your creator and they all praise you you're still a loser yeah and it's a great it's absolutely great example if you live by that principle inshallah you'll always be a strong man you don't rely upon the reaction of the people to guide you you rely on the one that created you to guide you and that goes for
me too everyone everyone even if I was to ever tell you to do something that was wrong that was against Islam or God you have to stay with what is right by Allah that's what Allah says be obedient to your parents unless they tell you to do something which is against Islam then your obedience is to Allah first yes so when it comes to our principles even our parents if they tell us something that's un Islamic we're not allowed to do it what we have what we're not allowed to be rude to them even for
that so even if somebody even if you have a mother father or somebody who's not Muslim and they said oh your religion is rubbish and you're backward and you're crazy and you're medieval you're not allowed to be you're not allowed to be rude to your mother or your father even then you have to say mom you know we should be respectful we shouldn't upset one another we shouldn't talk like this to one another I love you you're my mother I respect you please try to understand you know what I mean that's how you talk to
your parents because this is Islam so uh yeah so that's what I would say to you brother you know so if you've been looking into it for a while if you're convinced that this is the truth accept it if you need more time to study more inshallah no problem take our email we can supply you with free information do you have a Quran in Swedish no or do you prefer in English English is better it's better for you you've got a good Quan in English right yeah I have so whenever you're ready no pressure whenever
you're ready accept Islam don't wait too long and then start your journey but don't worry about step two step three step four don't worry about this person that person this family member that friend don't worry about that even me it's all about you it's about you it's about you and Allah and being on the right side you should not feel pressured you should not feel pushed you should you think for yourself if you're convinced you know this makes sense to me alhamdulillah accept it if you think I need more time take more time so you
we're already on step two before step on step two and he leared it so quickly just like a few days ago but then he started learning it and he realized it was already in his memory but he just cuz he hears me pray right so I'm in the house and whenever he's there I make sure he's loud I want him to hear you know so it's there inside of him I think you know the biggest challenge I think is the is the family I I would say the environment in Sweden look I know it's very
hard but you know what it is a lot tests those he loves the most with the biggest tests so if your tests in Sweden are greater than they are here in England and you still maintain your religion you're going to get more reward than a young man in England who has less tests correct right correct because because Allah will give you in relation to your striving it's not about the results so for example somebody says oh I pray a lot I pray all the time doesn't mean that that person will be rewarded more than the
person who prays less because if he's more sincere in the way that he prays then he gets more reward if the other person shows less sincerity and just as an outward action he might be getting less so don't worry about the the quantity worry about the quality on that on that note I've got to get him back I appreciate your effort your speaking to him just like if you would like with your dad when with your dad even a private offline session um you can reach me through my website I I know it co the
details coaching work.com coaching work I know the SF is ITF no no so uh I'm doing coaching as a professional now as well okay but I'll do it obviously because this is for Islam this is free this is no there's no charge so it's called coaching work.com email me through there we'll book a session and you know come up with questions coaching coaching worked work.com and then we'll um absolutely there no charge we can have 10 sessions it's fine or 20 it's okay right I'll book it in through the zoom or whatever and we'll have
uh come up with questions I heard this about Islam what do you say about terrorism what do you say about women's rights what do you say about marriage what do you say about this what ask whatever you like until you're satisfied and then insh t let me be the one or your father be the one to do the shahada for you yes you know the shahada yeah yeah he's already done it to 50 people Mah we've had 48 Brothers accepted alhamdulillah parking station parking station brothers and sisters alhamdulillah you know brother I find this yeah
brother ran me and him run that every Saturday I find the sisters a lot more responsive to The Message of Islam primarily because I find the sisters are less arrogant correct the brothers are too arrogant and that's the one thing you learned about Shan what was he when he didn't bow down to Adam he was arrogant arrogant and this is the worst trait I find the sisters are better at communication they're better at listening they're better at analyzing and they ask better questions true honestly well you probably se you know and they're sincere in there
when they make their decision yeah like my wife actually runs uh a group for all the sisters who are perverted so now they go to lessons and every Monday so get in touch with us as well for that because we maybe want to send sisters to your group so your wife can help them with their learning and everything else well alhamdulillah I Dr you an email really nice to meet you pleasure my offer my offer to you is is open inah anytime okay just say hello to your brother and I hope he gets well yeah
and when are you flying back got two more weeks two weeks enjoy your holiday inshah just take the microphone on this insh you know your father your father will always want what's best for you he he will always want what will benefit you more than anything else in this life and from the of my heart inshallah I I I can see inshallah with Allah's will that you will accept Islam very soon and when you do you will you will understand and you will realize what I've told you inshallah it was lovely to meet you all
right nice to meet you
