I started seeing this [ __ ] in the congregation where a lot of the young people younger people felt more welcome and it was some with see this little girl and you know but he like listen I'm not that's not quora that's because end of the day a spiritual relationship with God as a personal relationship between you and God that's not for us to judge really if you felt like that's what you want us to wear for church that's not even my clothes my purpose is listening your spirit what's in your heart yeah and I

turns you off from the whole process so yeah and that thing if you make your mind you decide to go to church I don't think you're going to it being apprehensive I I think like you just said once you walk into the door there's everything you see from that moment if if I see you know like I said if it'd be cliquish or if you know they're doing certain things and I'm not I might not even be familiar yeah so at that point I think you critique everything and unless it aligns with you perfectly you're

gonna have a bad taste in your mouth about that good and I will say abuse the healing this and as whenever we go somewhere new we're gonna have some reservation because we never you know you may not have been to that particular church we may not have been in a while so you are going to be a little bit more high alert in whether you feel welcome or kind of you know pushed away will make maybe determine if you're going to come back or not like like being high school and I think about when you

first go to high school their freshman year and you first walk you you like you don't know nobody well most of the time it's a new set of rules all that you kind of feel your way through and you know it kind of feels like that too when you go to church the first time you know you don't know nobody you don't know the rules you don't know what's going on so you're kind of observing but the question I want to kind of take my turn started with friends around the circle with Bray Brothers back

what what makes it in biting for a brother to come to church I mean you know what would be in your word what would you look for to say see that that'll make me want to go that make me feel comfortable when I go I think you have to see how honest that turn okay okay and I I think you know once once you see if the pastor is being honest if the word is being spoken honestly and if the people around are genuised and and you feel that they have a light bond with you

to to get the word then you might you you will be open to coming back to that Lucas has more what the words well I of the environment I think it's the eye because even if you are reading and preaching from that book you not being honest kind of all to non-believers as love so you want realness yes you want you want to see that real like hey you fell down it makes you feel like right man if anybody you certain churches always speak on the easy topics I'm saying so you you don't want to

touch the heart because you don't want to turn people away because you you may not may not want to hurt somebody feel as though you might not want to just come down with that uh with that portion of that word at that one time because it doesn't you know pertain to or it doesn't sit well with some of your congregation you may not want to it's all sharp law as as a pastor and so your reserve is certain well that kind of certain things say it certainly means you're nopalists one right is it one passion

I hate it all right you have met at work you get it when an example if I did albums Arsenal only kind is this idea that he said what I found the Lord no you said it why spiritual exactly no unless before it became people you said it can we go I smoke when you see I don't know but he was he was enough to say hey but this is what happened right well I think that's that that's critical court because when you're being vulnerable enough to say look I'm a man just like anybody else

here I'm not perfect I've had my but I found God and now I'm on a different path and guess what you can do the same I think to me that helps other people kind of see themselves in that Pastor instead of seeing oh this guy's perfect he don't understand what I'm going through it's like no look man I'm making the same things as you went through I've been in these same neighborhoods same streets and I found my way and I'm inviting you to you know find your own way also without looking down on them yeah

it and you know it's demonizing certain activities I think that was a big thing some things that are not like you know we speaking real like boys going through puberty or girls y'all you know it's things that we all go through we have urges to you're not a demon because you have re you we should be able to talk these kids through like listen this is a normal thing gotta practice discipline you gotta practice this restraint but don't feel like you're a demon because you may be feeling like oh I'm attracted to that girl over

there I'm not spot I'm thinking about God but I'm seeing her she got a squirtle you know just look yeah if you slip and that especially when you slip because I think that's another thing where some people they feel like they having their perfect like I've heard people say literally like man I want to go to church but I I dare you I gotta be right in quite adult let's see what the terrorist can hit and I'm glad you said that wow that's my password Center yeah well he speaks author and speaks silence back to

uh do people go to the hospital when they get well where do they go on their seat so how do you say I'm going to go to church when I right like wow you're going so you can't get right but I wanted to touch back on like you said you said it's the feeling though if the realness of the church like we don't hear the past and think about it when you go to a church in your first month to a church you don't hear answer Park reached until about a certain point in the top

right so first thing you do you go in you sit wherever you're going to sit and You observe you're observe boy with each other right that right there is where you begin to see there this is a realness thing or not so I would say it's more it's more than just if the pastor is seeing real because you won't know it's pastors real unless you actually visited a few times where you won't Roxanne here and also like like being said that uh just a minute ago if if I'm feeling like you know if I'm I'm

out here and I still got some urges or I still may be tempted by certain things me going to a certain church and being demonized or you know being told that you know we gotta we can't have the or or just blah blah blah or anything like that dude you're not you're you're not preaching to me you're preaching over again you see what I'm saying you're not other me how to deal um and that will not give so I don't see that if I see a man that that Professor to be you know not I'm

the I'm the saint and all this stuff so how do I how do I do no and that that's real you can't say that like you talking to Pastor you know I I heard my pastor said a little different way it's like the church for for the sick right everybody in there needs to be healed right we all everybody's watching if you walk in the church and they sit they act like they're perfect or the past act like he he or she is about a flaw without a slaw they ain't the kids we wouldn't need

Jesus save us if we would Flawless so so I mean I think what I'm hearing is that hey that war if you got that welcome at Warped you got that realness from the indivisible it started with the pastor the share I think you talked about how your your uh Pastor retired share and be real about hey yeah I I struggle with abcmd and look I I gotta stay in the word keep myself focused or whatever people can relate to that like you was talking about some of that as well too so I mean I think

you know those main things just carry that point forward you know how what else can you think of as far as they've been withdrawing you or Draw other brothers in to kind of make them feel like yeah you know I need to be here and I want to say like ah so my particular Pastor um one thing he always reiterate she says man come as you are you ain't got to put your your Sunday's best song and you ain't got to go buy that that million dollar Easter suit you know just leave it comes through

but then you beat around people and you see that they are still welcome and then you get a relationship with those people and you may not have anything for sure yeah that's supposedly uh approach Church a type right and then the the woman of the church and I said women will get with a girl I'll teach them I think that's when it goes back into uh The Village yeah he's taking a village to where Charles I think that's where it goes back until I think we call awake and that's like payout what you have a

Starbucks you said they're coming in it's a disconnect it's a disconnect but I think what you see the Adams explosion of other churches that are much more conducive to back in common oh god oh one shirt um yesterday see in Austin and I mean people will come with sandals Starbucks Coffee normally in church you're trying to get coffee at church well I got so it was just I think I was more struck by just a general I didn't see anybody and you know and like I said defeat you know Starbucks Coffee stores sure sandals but

they come to church they come up you said the key right I think this kind of the keyword solves up a lot of what we're talking about come as you are the you said it's really your best come as you are I mean you know hey one thing about going back let's talk about Jesus for a minute Jesus got knocked on and talked about because he went and dealt with tax collectors who was like the scum of the herb for the Jews back then they like shaking people down for their money so how are you

gonna go past and each he hung out with the the the the uh those who was kind of considered not not not exactly down track exactly so he he hung out with those individuals and guess what that's who father made up his disciples you know what I mean so the point though is that he welcomed he went where they were and and so what what I'm hearing when you say come as you are that's another way of saying hey you know come like you are you welcome how you are and then well look and that's

just disclaiming you welcome to how you are as long as you're coming in to seek him yeah okay and the thing you just because especially when we talk about the Village School in the younger folds because I think about like Malcolm X squares out who he was at 25 30 is not who he ended up becoming because he got around some older brothers that scored and put them on and uh one thing I heard during ours we do our a manhood 2.0 series every every month and it was a gentleman kind of telling the story

and he was taking in kids that had been you know uh abused and just all sorts of situations and he says one of the things that we gotta reiterate when helping these kids is rules without relationships leads to Rebellion before you can shot a discipline or reprimand somebody you gotta show them that you care you can't just come in hey look why you got this one it's like man who are you first of all you should go over there like and that's how a lot of it it gets overlooked because you don't know what just

this young lady have been going through at our house or this young man you don't know just that more they may not even eight that morning or yesterday and it's like you know how you doing today how you feeling did you eat that that stuff like that you know a lot of this says man um yeah it's not being carrying all the generations like you used to it's just a look at me I'm in I'm in church where you supposed to be like me yeah yeah and you know a lot of people who can't reach

a lot the do you use and care what you just said that oh look at me I think because we sit there and talk that that's that's a lot of reasons why people look down celebrity they you know they they must not they don't have nice clothes I know how what I have or what I desire to happen they judge them on that right yeah you know what I mean and they really about never being selfish look at themselves and go ahead what nothing you're supposed to be uh be like me like that this ends

this die and it's Godly innocent I had but how many people are putting long big results right yeah you know what's that that that's that's their represented that's not who they truly environment right foot only Representatives with you thank you Nurse right they are uh a once a day week site right social hey that what's what's up hey what kind of would would draw Brothers back in so we're talking about some some of the issues brought up but man so I how did the church get get Brothers back and when I say the church I

mean really uh misqualified us no one in church there's those who believe in Christ that the people individuals of the church but how we get people back into a fellowship inside of gathering or church building per se what we'll get Brothers back involved it actives in the churches just just throwing it out there it's funny but part of each wants to go back in nature Bangla the Titan but that Bethany Parkland King I didn't mean what they use iron Waters Another just better actually and just did accept the fact I have yeah son you know

and yes and you were uh when it doesn't be normal by a foreign foreign taking drunken so along with patches blowing up the fact that now I thought a couple hundred thousand it was in my church or over the top to this naked hole in this world you go on to yourself you want to talk to beat body fire to surround here that I would say one yeah so let's get back to the pastures how about themselves looking at two the community within chart tunnel Nelson all they have to teaching because it's a whole why

people out here go into all our ninja yeah and I like this meat to just know it's so like love right and after somebody come up today I knew on a batch soon so how are you doing tonight you know let me say oh and not to say yeah well you know what to do whatever you need to come to my church and not only able to add one other thing one of the church is going to I'm sure yes all right let's start this day this church why aren't you going out and partner and

do things in schools on this lap when he said you know as a church go to the doors knock on the doors how many people well we will do with them a lot I played the wrong windows or a Church of Jesus today Christopher what you know well I I understand they have a babbling now I've had a great I'm not drobles but law nothing but they came under her for sorry reason after it again I found out that it had a we had a lot or she uh accurate issue with love comic oh men

what's wrong and you said okay double Community issues they dealt with people they knew he what I think that you know people saw it with hack or gym trying to make a difference and if everything okay it's the screwed it and now we have what we have where we don't have uh the church that is going out that that there are the members are saying you know their house down the street belongs to um sisters such as searching we know that you know she's uh she's been having a hard time as far as uh health-wise

so we're going to do this you don't have that uh you know because everybody's worried about the game endings so what is the endings of the church an image of the church is everybody wants to mention everybody's making chips right you you have people who have met churches who don't know like you said bodyguard comes soon if you try that uh just speak to the pastor you don't know the congregation you know well as our last student if you have all right if you if you sold the seed of a thousand dollars this is your

spot right here you know what I'm saying and the people who only have such and such you know just raise your hand from what's right it's three years ago that's not like one of the things that I'll I'll operate some love about Christ Ministries the fact that the efficient is not or sure how you know it's all about Stark what do we need we'll address bike ride almost before I mean get somebody's and searching and shot to sell them something you need to why not whatever any any good sales in the workers saw it on

after the second you know my second good my second event because it's well at it you know that became my church song not get what time get what practical itself man look out what's up I'm lost areas it is they're balancing this is real talk so as we kind of get to the point that's what we call it she had to stay in Mall palette really yeah here you didn't spot out spread that mess together asked everyone I will lift left for our range from the land person they need to be updated thoughts you know
