[Music] hi Krishna everyone welcome to the principles of Temple Administration so we're now going to do a unit called risk management and I'm just going to give you a basic overview of this of this uh this unit so uh most temples acknowledge that a good risk management practice is important in fact in a lot of places it's actually a legal requirement but still nevertheless uh the problem is that uh most of votes believe it's just too complex too time consuming and that there are probably more important issues um in other places they have folders on
top of folders of policies and procedures but they basically just sit on top of a shelf collecting dust so this unit really is here to demystify and make possible a risk assessment uh for your temple or Center some of the things that we're going to cover in this in this uh unit uh is how to identify risks uh to analyze the risks to evaluate the risks and then to treat the risks and monitor and review risks and this is a fstep step risk assessment program by the end of this unit you should very e you
should be better informed on what exactly risk assessment is able to identify and then prior prioritize your risks uh able to manage and reduce the risks and then to develop a team that can ongoingly oversee this process within your Templar Center so as you can imagine this is uh there's a lot of a lot of of scope in one sense to the world of risk assessment we're again just really giving you some basic guiding principles of what is risk management um so many of the other things remain outside of the scope of this specific uh
uh training module but we do encourage everyone to find out as much about these areas as you can in order to implement them in your Templar Center um because of of course it helps us to cultivate and develop the mode of goodness and helps us to prevent accidents or or difficulties that may come later okay so now we encourage you to please move forward uh into the the module of risk management which is called risk assessment har Krishna
