[Music] we're at Liverpool airport today assessing a Quantum Leap in airport technology through Aero Cloud optic we're seeing the inner workings of the product and we're absolutely delighted to be here with our team and Liverpool's team assessing the impact so historically we've used a number of different systems and we've used manual methods as well so we've done queue counting and CCTV so we'd track a person try and identify a person try your hardest to follow them through the process and do a physical timing of that and that'll give you an indication but a very loose
indication of what was happening at that key point in time obviously not very easy to do in a live operation either taking somebody away from the operation to physically time somebody our slogan is fast and easy friendlier we need to make sure that we're we're abide and buy that so we would like to get our customers through to the departure Lounge as fast as possible but they're happy about doing that as well we're always Keen to make sure that we're as efficient as we can possibly be on a cost basis we can only do that
if we properly understand the the movement in the building where the Peaks are where the kind of bottlenecks are where the cues of a morning are likely to be so that we can flatten any kind of planning curves and make sure we're as efficient as we can be our Cloud optic is our new groundbreaking passage account and tracking solution it delivers accurate real-time data that supports both operational teams in real-time decision making and decision making and planning for the future whatever Cloud allows us to do is uniquely identify people without storing individual personal data so
it allows us to plan more efficiently for things like marketing spent ahead in our in our retail and Concession environments and operational planning we've worked from the ground up so the implementation of the cameras the heights of the cameras the position of the cameras through to the technology into the computer then also showing the dashboards of what we actually record and what data is being fed back in and that's what gives us our metrics we've now got a very accurate sense of commercial dwell from the back of security until called the gate and we're starting
now to develop the potential to look at by individual route how long those those people stay within the building and we've never been able to do that in the past that's been I would describe it as the Holy Grail of kind of commercial and operational activity in an airport foreign [Music]
