So, you're thinking about buying the Mini5 Pro or you've already got the Mini5 Pro and you want to know which controller is best for the Mini5 Pro. To be quite honest, guys, they're all pretty good. Obviously, this one's the cheapest.
It's $119. This one, which is the RC2 control loop, which is €369 or big step, €999. big difference from this one I can say.
So, we're going to talk about the RCN3 first, which you can fly with this drone, no problem. The good thing about this, you can pull out this arm. You can add an attachment.
I'm just going to put it in now. So, you can see you could put a nice tablet in there, 7in tablet. Obviously, you don't have to have that.
You can just put your phone in there. The only thing I don't like about this one, cuz it's pretty basic, you haven't got those extra buttons, especially if you want to do way points and things like that. That doesn't come with the RCN3.
On the front there, you got your stop or pause button and return to home button. You've got your control here for normal, cinematic, or sports mode, the fast mode as I call it, and obviously the on andoff switch. On top, you got a few as well.
You got your photo and video. You can move the gimbal up and down. Pretty basic.
And that's about it really. And then there's a big jump. I class as a big jump with the RC2 controller because it has a built-in screen which is 5.
5 in screen. It's 700 nits as a I think it's bright enough. I wear Polyoid sunglasses here in Spain and I can still see that screen even though I haven't got it on full brightness.
Another thing is it comes with uh internal storage 32 gig which is amazing. Yet again, you got the same buttons on the front as you would have on the RCM3. You got your pause, your stop, and your return home button.
You got your control there for your cinematic, normal, and sports mode. And obviously the power on button. Um, you obviously antennas.
Make sure that when you're flying your drone, you put these out. Now, I always have it on that angle. Some people have it that angle.
It all depends really guys on how you're holding your controller, especially when you're viewing the drone in the air, but I haven't bent, but that's that's your preference. You got your camera button, you got your uh record button, you got couple of uh attachments there. One's a zoom, one's for moving the gimbal up and down.
But on the back, which I find it really useful, cruise control is one of them. Uh way points, I just find that so much easier. But I think the main thing of this whole point of this controller is this built-in screen.
Now the other thing is that if you're using your phone when you get the return to home option on that you won't get the green flow as I call it and which I find really handy at night flying whereas on this you have all that built in and I I think that's the the biggest bonus on this. Now we go to the most expensive. So all three of these controllers will work your Mini5 Pro, but this one is the sort of the top of the notch is expensive.
This one slightly different. Your antennas go downwards. So this makes it sort of uh like a desk display controller.
You can pull it out. Now the good thing about this, as soon as you pull it out, it turns it on. Whereas these two, you literally have to turn on the on and off button.
Whereas this one, I mean, you can have it set up not to do that, but I find it so much easier. It just turns itself on. You got a lot more.
I'm not going to go into it all, guys. It's a lot more stuff. You got a 7in screen.
You got 2,000 nits. Extra bright, I must say. You can add party apps to this.
The screen swivels as well, so you can do portrait mode as well. on these two controllers, guys. You do need an extra of some sort.
It doesn't weigh that much. Um, and obviously it's another extra. You have to get the screws from the bottom.
I get mine virt everything on Amazon really. There's loads of stuff out there. And a nice neck strap.
Pretty easy. Whereas this one is, guys, it's really heavy and you do need an extra neck strap. Now, yet again, that's an extra as well.
There's loads of stuff on Amazon. It's no point me putting it up. I think that's up to you to choose.
You want to buy a nice expensive leather one or just a cheap plastic one. But if you're buying this, I think it's always worth paying out a little bit more. Now, the other thing I didn't mention, it comes with a an extra you can slot in a macro SD card in there.
Now, I use that one mainly if I'm doing screen recordings for my videos. I find that really helpful. But if you didn't want to do that, you can just use the internal storage because there's plenty of storage there.
Whereas on the big one, you got so much on here, guys. I mean, the other thing I forgot to mention is you can record your voice on here as I got his own mic. I'll be honest, the mic on here is not that brilliant really because it's a built-in mic.
The storage on this 128 gig, that's loads, isn't it? I'd never use that amount of storage at all. But it's also got, if you wanted to, a macro SD card as well that you can plug in.
Um, so my opinion on which controller is the best for you. Obviously, end of the day, it's all about budget. It's what you can afford.
If you buy the basic package, it this comes with it, the RCN free. But if you want to spend that little bit more, I don't think it's a lot more really, but it's a big up is the RC2 controller. Built-in screen.
It's got all the functions that you need compared to this one. Me personally, I would have recommend the RC2 controller, especially for you paid out a lot of money for that Mini5 Pro. Now, obviously, if you got the money and it's no bother to you, the expense, get this one.
But I will say, guys, I've had it for quite a while now. I got it with my M uh my Mavic 4 Pro. Fantastic setup.
Mavic 4 Pro. Open it up. That's already on.
This is already on it. It's worth paying that for that. Mini5 Pro getting this.
I don't think so. Another thing I don't really like about this is it says you can add third party apps which to me was going to be a big bonus because I wanted to try out Liti and some of the other third party apps. Trying to get those apps onto here.
Not easy. And I just still don't think out there on YouTube there's any video showing you how to load a third party app on this contraption. So, me personally, if you're not really into drones and say it's your first time every time, get this one, the RC2.
It does everything you need. So, it'd be interesting to hear uh which controller you've got or thinking about buying. Uh, and please add in below because it always helps other people who are still in the process of thinking, saving up for this, but I want to make sure I've got everything I need.
And I I think personally this would be the one you need to get, guys. So, as always, there's going to be another video coming sooner.
