Now we're in production and same as the other videos, you can see your list here. You can change the status from here in production to any statuses that were defined in the system. Again, same as the others where I showed the order stage and I showed design stage.
You also have production stage. I'm just going to rightclick and this will load all the statuses for production. You see the default one is set to new.
Same as the other videos and I think this is where it's more important in production is any status you can edit the status and link it to a user and set up permissions so that only that user sees what's linked to this status. And from here you can see that the artwork that was approved is shown over here by the customer. Any notes are here.
The steps that have been taken are all shown here. You can see that it started with design and then it was sent to production and it's changed the bindary. So I'm just going to change it one more time just to show you.
Change it to engraving. And now it'll show the next step for engraving. You can also clock it if you want by clicking on start job.
And same as the other as orders and design, you can go to this cambban view. This is popular with our shops where everything that's in production, all the steps are shown. You can define from here the sorting of these.
And from here, you can also move the job. If it's red, it means it's late. If it's white, it means it's not overdue.
And in this case, it's a demo system. Everything is overdue. And you can set another color if it's upcoming.
Something else here is if you've set up the permissions then you can set it up so based on the user role because of course in their system you can add users with user roles. They would only see the jobs that are linked to them in the job board which is a nice feature. Let's go back to the list view.
I'm just going to go here first to show you that the job ticket is shown. Okay, this is a very clean job ticket. All the notes that are written are shown here.
I just want to go down just to show an example of another type of job ticket. So you see the different options. In this case, we show the picture of the imposition.
Um the way it works with a job ticket and this will all be shown in training is basically from the pricing fields that were set up for the product, you can define what fields are shown in the job ticket. So for example, cost fields you don't want to show in production. So it's easy to show in the hide.
You can also show or hide the shipping info. Up here is um you can scan this barcode and it will load just that job for the person in production. So they can print out the job ticket.
They would scan it with any USB barcode scanner and it would just load that job for them. Let's go back to the job we've been working on. So as was shown, you can move it from one step to the next.
You can also, if you like, you can add it to your printer scheduleuler. This is a feature used by maybe 50% of shops. You can do it by a month, a week, a day view.
If you linked this job to a machine, it will link it to that machine for you automatically. Things that can be shown in training. In this case, I didn't link it.
And you can select at what time of day this job is shown on the calendar. You can also customize these fields. And of course, if you have more than one job for that day or the week, you can go to select the machine and it will show all jobs for that day.
If it's a different machine, it'll be a different color. And of course, you can have jobs that are overlapping because you can have more than one job for one machine at the same time. Things that can all be shown in training.
from the list here. When you're ready, you can go ahead and you see these are all things that you would probably want to hide. Commercial payments and things.
I'll just show you can always go to the action menu settings. It's the same on every page. And you can define what options are shown to people in production.
Send out Rick request doesn't make sense here. And cancel order doesn't make sense. And for now, I'm just going to take out those two.
And you can see if you do a screen refresh now it's much cleaner for the people in production. And if you want as well you can assign it to the person in production. Most of our shops like the idea of linking a status to a user and then they can only see the jobs that are linked to them.
When you're ready, you would just go here and you would select send to shipping. This is if you have shipping turned on. Not all shops do.
If you don't, it'll go right to invoice. So, I'm going to click on proceed. And now it's going to send this the job to shipping.
And that's the workflow for production. Thank you.
