majority of conversations that are going on in the world if you ever if you're ever out in your inter in your everyday interactions you're at the grocery store you're at the gas station you're at a club you're out at a social gathering with your friends the majority of interactions are all boring blase normal autopilot responses the goal with communication main goal with communication and just to become a better conversationalist we want to break through that boring blase superficial layer the goal is to impinge with your communication and impinge really just means to break through and
make an impact in in whatever we're talking about and that really should be the goal as a conversationalist okay you want to stand out with your communication you want to hook people become engaging become captivating we need to impinge with our communication and snap through that [ __ ] bubble that everybody has in their everyday interactions and this one is really big by the way i really really really like this one don't underestimate the importance of this uh technique and it may it may sound simple it may sound pretty stupid but i noticed i do
it a lot and it's very effective okay and it's simply this it's calling yourself out when you ask a bad question or calling out the fact that you're on a boring [ __ ] topic so i'll give you an example of this let's say i was in conversation right i just talking to somebody i was just like so how's your day going actually wait i don't i don't even like that question that question's boring as [ __ ] honestly um and then i just ask the new question you're calling out the bad question or the
bad response as an observer to the question okay because the the idea behind that is once you can just become the observer of this no filter and you can laugh about it and maybe even the girl laughs about it and then you just change topic one it puts you it gets you out of your head but two um again it cuts through that superficial [ __ ] layer okay and that's what you're trying to do that's what ties back to the beginning of this lecture we're talking about how to impinge with our communication right and
the way you do that is you give off this sense of not giving a [ __ ] not having this politically correct this is how the conversation will flow and i can't say this word and i can't say this and i better not talk about that and i'm walking on eggshells through the whole conversation right so even if i like it it's just it's better to just say so how's your day going actually that's a boring [ __ ] question i don't want to ask you that that's like so boring yeah like what's something i
don't know like what's something exciting that you that that you're doing right now okay it's just like i can't even describe it it's like it's just it's real it's just real you get this sense of like this dude's real and this dude doesn't give a [ __ ] when they see that you don't give a [ __ ] they're so much more likely to reciprocate and that's how we get under this [ __ ] nice to meet you later the second i cut through maybe it's off the handshake i would i might even be like
wow that was like such a formal [ __ ] handshake i feel like i'm like back at work right now like [ __ ] that i'm out it's yo it's friday night i actually came out here to have fun give me a [ __ ] hug something you can do that calls it out and shows like no we're that's not how we're going to interact that's not how you're going to interact with me and that's not what the [ __ ] i'm about this is how we're going to interact i'm laying the guideline for how
our conversation is going to go and when people see that and they see you're confident and you're comfortable with that like everybody's had an amazing interaction where they didn't give a [ __ ] okay typically with most people it happens when they're drunk as [ __ ] but everybody has had it before okay they just need the uh the green light to do it right but if i'm like hey i'm kyle how are you oh interesting so what do you do for work oh you work okay what um so where'd you go to school oh
okay so oh so you had masters in what political science oh interesting interesting so what was your gpa what the [ __ ] dude [ __ ] all of that [ __ ] all of that okay like if you could take something away from this lecture it's like it's just it's not even about the words right i could still talk about those topics but i'm gonna go on such a deeper level with them that like i'm just gonna come off real you just call it out and you laugh about it and it's not a big
deal because at the end of the day it's not about what's being said ever it's about the frame that it's coming from so the second you're an observer and you're laughing at the statement even if it was you that was saying it the frame is i don't give a [ __ ] i don't give a [ __ ] like clearly i'm pointing out that was weird i don't even know why i had that [ __ ] thought because i'm not i'm not a weirdo i'm not a weirdo actually i'm probably a little bit of a
weirdo but are we all okay it's just it's real it's it's it's real man it's just real and no filter and it actually it's i really think it's perceived as high value it shows you don't give a [ __ ] and you're confident just wanted to give you guys a preview of what's going on inside the patreon right now as you guys can see on the screen there's currently 53 in-depth lectures that are all one to two hours in length there's also currently 17 infield plus breakdown videos majority of which have never been shown on
