What 100 squats in a row do to your body

10 squats. Sure. 15.
Still good. 20 [snorts] and you're thinking about what's for lunch. Then rep 25 shows up and your legs go, "Wait, what?
" That's the zone. Most people never go there. Past rep 50, your quads are on fire and your brain starts making deals.
Past rep 75, you stop thinking about deals. 100 reps. That's where this video ends.
Here's what the body goes through to get there. Most people do body weight squats as a warm-up. 10 reps, shake it out, move on to the real stuff.
That thinking is why your legs look the way they do. Every lower body joint is loading in those first 20 reps. Hips, knees, ankles, all of it.
Quads, glutes, and hamstrings are firing together every single rep. Full range, full load, just no bar on your back. 20 reps feel like nothing because your muscles are used to sets under 30 seconds.
Short, heavy, done. This is different. Around rep 25, something changes.
The burn starts. The breathing picks up. Welcome to strength endurance.
The zone most people skip their entire training life. Your muscles get most of the attention, but underneath them are connective tissues, tendons, ligaments, cartilage. Stuff that takes longer to develop than muscle.
Stuff you ignore in your 20s and start thinking about in your 30s when your knees sound like a bowl of cereal. The way you build those tissues, pump blood to them repeatedly. High reps do this better than anything.
Look at the legs now. The pump you're seeing isn't just aesthetics. That's blood flooding the muscle tissue, delivering oxygen, clearing waste, creating mechanical stress on the fibers.
That's the signal that tells the body, grow here. This is different from what heavy squats do. Heavy squats are about maximum force.
High rep squats are about metabolic stress and time under tension. Both build muscle. But the high rep version also burns calories going bananas, taxes your cardiovascular system.
Rep 80, your legs have been under tension for over 4 minutes. No set break, no water, no scrolling between sets. This is what most leg days are missing.
Not load, duration. Rep 85. The quads are screaming, but here's what's actually happening.
Every rep is now harder than the last and your body is still doing it. That's adaptation in real time. You're watching the nervous system figure it out.
Rep 90, 10 left. 10 reps used to be a warm-up. Now 10 feels like a mountain.
Rep 95, you're finishing. You already decided. Rep 100.
100 bodyweight squats is the base. The pistol squat is where it goes next. One leg, full depth.
The pistol squat cheat sheet has the form, the mistakes, and the fixes all on one poster. Link in the description. And your body squats?
That's 100 reps. That's where this video ends. Your legs just did more continuous work than most gym sessions spread across an hour.
>> [music] >> No equipment, no program, a few minutes and a decision. Do it three times this week. See what your legs look like in 30 days.
Think deep. One more thing. Mystery Box is back.
Limited run, only 57 left now. Link in the description.
