And of course, he was forced to put this woke idiot, James Carville, in his place here for the ridiculous statements that he is making.
It's it's so exhausting to listen to people like this who are just so they're just their brain is taken over by the woke mind virus. And it really is just sad. Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher is forced to put this this I don't I don't want to insult him too much, but he's really is just an absolute idiot for the things that he was saying here on this episode where Bill Maher has to put this woke idiot in his place here live on Real Time with Bill Maher.
Uh, James, uh, you famously said, "It's the economy, stupid, but voters seem to be responding to positive economic news. Voters don't seem to be responding to positive economic news in the polls. " How do you explain this?
Well, you know, you got 60% of the Republicans who believe the Earth is 6,000 years old. Oh, that's not a good answer. Well, I'm I'm just You pay the polls.
Okay. All right. You You look We have 5.
6% growth. All right. I by any record now people don't feel it and I look I think I think we should we should have made a change I I you and I agree on that and I don't know how much of it is is that they can't see beyond the president.
I mean the cost of living has has hurt people but you just can't look at this economy and go out and say this is a bad economy. That's impossible. But that's not really what you want to tell the voters.

I have no doubt that James Carville is like an intelligent person, but for some reason these people who aren't extremely stupid, like I wise, he's probably pretty high IQ, but for some reason, the woke mind virus genuinely has taken over these people's brains. It is the craziest phenomenon ever.
Bill Maher asked this guy a question about the economy and he answers the question about the economy was something not related at all to the economy. Bill Maher asked a question about economy and James Carville answers the question by saying well Republicans think that the earth is 6,000 years old or whatever the hell he said. What the what does that have to do with anything?
That doesn't have anything to do with anything. You're just avoiding the question because you know you're going to get made to look stupid because you can't answer the question. You can't ever answer the question in a way that's going to make the woke side look bad.
Or else you get shunned from the woke mob. And these people who have made their livingings, they made their lives revolving around being a part of the woke mob and being supported by that mob. You can't go against the mob or else you get you get cold feet, you know, like obviously metaphorically, but you you can't do that.
And James Carville knows that and Bill Maher knows that that's what James Carville is trying to do and he's fed up with it. I love to see it. I just love to see it.
People the things that like you can cite the statistics and yes inflation is going down. It's going in the right direction. But the things that pe the things people buy every day in this country, bullets, eggs, gas is down.
G not here. I don't I'm just telling you the price of gas. We produce more We pump more oil than we ever have in history anywhere.
We pump more oil in Saudi Arabia. All right, just so you know that. But if you ask people, do you think that the the Democrats and Biden is Oh, yeah.
Of course it is. 100%. It I can't The fact that people believe something doesn't make it a fact.
There's a big story in the Wall Street Journal today. The crime rate has dropped significantly. Try to tell I argue with someone, but the the the crimes for 100,000 I think was 738 and you're down to 362 or something like that.
Yeah, you got to sit here and act like I'm a factual clutch because somebody believes something that's not true. I I don't buy that. Okay.
Well, then we'll move on. Okay. Um, Mike, it's just ironic, you know, and obviously Bill Maher is a comedian.
He's trying to have a good time, be entertaining on this show and everything. He doesn't want to completely kill the vibe, but it's just so ironic that somebody who was so woke and so far left would say things like, "I can't have conversations with people. I don't want to engage because the other side just doesn't believe in facts.
Mind you, this is coming from the side that if you guys remember before the 2020 election, everybody on the left wing, Kla Harris, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, every left winger you could think of came out and they made a video saying that they would never take the Trump jab. Why? You could, you should never take this Trump jab.
It's going to be poison. All of this stuff. Joe Biden gets elected.
Joe Biden gets in office. And you're evil if you don't take that same jab. You're evil.
And not only that, right? Trust the science, right? Trust the science.
Take take the jab. Trust the science. Well, the science originally said that it would stop transmission.
And then all of a sudden, whenever it didn't stop transmission, then the science shifted to, oh, well, it doesn't stop transmission. It only makes the effects lessen whenever you actually do get it. Okay.
Well, then that ended up not being true either. So then the science once again shifted to well actually guys like it there's new strains coming out so you have to get more updated jabs, right? You have to get more of these things injected into your body that don't work and that could be causing health problems.
We're not going to say 100% it is cuz you know can't can't do that but could be causing health problems and has zero benefit because it's not doing what it's supposed to be doing. By the way, this is the same jab that you guys said was evil, poison, and you would never take it and nobody should ever take it. And now you're telling us that we have to take it or we can't fly and we can't leave the country.
A lot of people can't get jobs unless they take it. Crazy. And and now they have the nerve to come back and say, "Well, the other side doesn't believe in facts, therefore I can't engage with them.
" What are we talking about? How how do you come to that conclusion? So, uh, Mike Johnson, he's from your home state of Louisiana.
The speaker of the house I read today he wrote a forward in a book thatcribes to conspiracy theories and homophobic insults. I thought Mike Mike Johnson wrote the forward to the Bible. Uh do you think Mike Johnson can hold his party together now that he has taken the mantle?
Well, first of all, I don't think he can hold his party together. Second of all, you're exactly right. Mike Johnson and what he believes is one of the greatest threats we have today to the United States.
When I promise you, I know these people. You're talking about Christian nationalism talking about this. This is a this is a a bigger threat than al-Qaeda to this country.
They And let me tell you something. They speak of the house. They got probably at least two Supreme Court justices, maybe more.
Right? Don't kid yourself. And and people in the press have no idea who this guy is, how he was formed, what the threat is.
And this is a fundamental threat to the United States. It is a fundamental. They don't believe in a Constitution.
They'll tell you that White Johnson himself says, "What is democracy but but two woes and a lamb having lunch? " That's what they really really really believe. And to say, "Oh, come on, man.
That's just some crazy shit. " No. No.
They they believe that and they're coming and they've been doing it forever. They're funded. They're funded.
They're relentless. And you know, they probably won't win for a while, but they might. Well, they they they did win.
Well, I don't know if he's talking about Christian nationalists or Republicans, but the Republicans did win after this. So, um, he was wrong on that one, I guess. But as far as a Christian nationalist thing, to say that Christian nationalists are a bigger threat than al-Qaeda.
Wow. Like I I genuinely don't even have the energy to to attack that point because it's the stupid it's the it's the dumbest point I've ever heard. Christians are like famous for being too pacifistic.
Like Muslims and you know or people who are a part of Islam, they are very like you talk bad about my religion, I'm going to come at you. And I'm not saying that's the right way to be. I don't think it is the right way to be to physically threaten people because they don't like your religion, your religious beliefs is stupid.
Um, whatever. But that's how Muslims are, a lot of them, right? And they're very passionate about their religion.
Christians are very passionate about their religion as well, but they'll never like defend their religion by threatening physical violence and things like that. To say that Christians, and look, I'm not I'm not saying that that's even a good thing either. I kind of wish Christians were a little bit more hard up and like, you know, you're not going to talk about my religion.
you're not going to make up things about my religion and and just get away with it. I wish they were more like that, but they're not. They're not like that at all.
It's actually a problem, I feel like, because of how pacifistic they are. And you know, the the to say they're a bigger threat than al-Qaeda, it's just it's hilarious. It's hilarious.
And number one, it's just not true. Number two, like if Christian nationalists were to take over the country, the country would be better. It would be a better place to live.
Like let's just be real about it. It would be a better place to live. Christians actually have morals and principles that they follow that they they have a rule book to follow versus these atheists that run the country now.
These people who are you know having secret islands doing things with children, they don't have obviously any morals or any principles or or you know any moral compass at all. So if Christian nationalists really took over the country, it would be a better place. If al-Qaeda took over the country, probably wouldn't be the better place.
