I stand with the Fever fan. He did nothing wrong and she owes him an apology. Grow up, girl.
Fans will be [music] fans and you completely overreacted. That a sports fan would probably do if you're are on the opposing team. Like, and then we're going to go for him for just pointing saying that you fouled.
Like, grow up. NBA players are done pretending like they don't see AA Wilson and all she's doing to sabotage things for others. Especially after the recent fan situation, the deleted tweets, and some of her discriminatory comments over the years, which we'll get to soon.
But just when you thought it couldn't get crazier, her mom went into the same arena 2 days after her recent altercation with a fan, started waving an offensive sign right at Indiana fans, and started barking at reporters on camera. What your sign means? Like the like No, I'm reading.
I'm interested what your what your thought is. I mean exactly what the sign says. No, but like what do you mean?
What do you mean by do you mean do you mean by listen to me? That's what I mean. Like mother, like daughter.
Well, some of the biggest NBA players, Luca, KD, and others saw all of this unfold and couldn't stay quiet. But before we get to Luca and KD, the first person to speak up is the last person on earth you would expect to have a problem with any of this. Dylan Brooks being the first guy to speak up about this whole situation is funny on a level people don't even realize.
This is a man who wrote an entire Players Tribune article breaking down trash talk like it was a science. He admitted to whispering a girl's name in a guy's ear right as he went up for a jumper just to mess with his head and force a brick. He calls himself Dylan the villain with a straight face.
He walked up to media day in Phoenix and casually told reporters that if anybody pisses him off this year, he might dropkick them. And he was not joking. Well, kind of joking.
But the point is, this is a man who has made an entire NBA career out of getting under people's skin and loving every second of it. And even he thinks Aza Wilson crossed the line. Word leaked from people close to his camp that when the whole situation came up, Brooks didn't even hesitate.
He said, "Bro, I talk trash for a living and even I know you don't go into the crowd. You take that energy back to the game. That's the whole point.
" She handed them everything. coming from Dylan Brooks. That is genuinely one of the most damning things you could hear because his whole thing is using disrespect as fuel.
Someone talks trash to him, he takes it back to the floor and makes them regret it. He called LeBron old in the middle of a playoff series and smiled about it. But the difference between what Brooks does and what Wilson did is everything.
What Brooks does is channel that anger into the game. What Wilson did was abandon an active playoff game to go fight a fan who paid money to be in that building. When the NBA's biggest villain thinks you went too far, that should tell you everything.
But if you think Brooks reacting to this is wild, wait until you hear about something Wilson did long before that playoff game even happened. Because some old tweets from her recently resurfaced and Jaylen Brown had a lot to say about how she handled it. And the reason Jaylen Brown's reaction hits so different from everyone else's is because of his own history, which we are going to get to in a second.
But first, let me tell you what he actually said. Because during a team event in Philadelphia, someone brought up AA Wilson's situation and Brown didn't beat around the bush. He said, "If you said it, you said it.
Going private and deleting doesn't erase anything. It just shows you know it was wrong. Own it or don't say it.
That's the rule. " And that sounds like a really random thing to say. Until you hear that back in 2024, some old offensive tweets allegedly posted by Wilson in 2012 started making the rounds online.
The fans weren't having it, so they came straight at her. But instead of addressing it, Wilson put her account on private and started scrubbing old posts. People online were literally tracking her deleting tweets in real time while the story was blowing up.
Now, think about why Jaylen Brown is the guy saying this. Brown has been in the middle of massive public backlash before over his connections with Kanye West and Luis Farrakhan. People were calling him out from every direction, but Brown didn't lock his account, run away, or start deleting his history like he had something to hide.
He stood there, answered questions, and faced the noise directly. That is the hilarious part about going private and deleting your stuff. It's an instant confession.
You are broadcasting to the entire internet that you read your own old posts and agreed they were bad enough to delete. I mean, think about it. If they were really harmless, you'd leave them up and stand 10 toes down.
Instead, she deleted the receipts and then kept attacking the same fans whose ticket sales pay her salary, throwing out baseless racism accusations and policing what people are allowed to say. Compare that to Caitlyn Clark for a second. Has anyone ever dug up any offensive batch of tweets from Clark that she had to run and hide from?
Yeah, you have your answer. And speaking of things that should have never been said out loud, Kyle Kosma heard what AA said about Paige Bucher and Kelsey Plum and he was not subtle about his reaction at all. Kyle Kosma plays for the Milwaukee Bucks and he has easily been one of the loudest NBA voices talking about the WNBA all year long.
And I mean that literally. He has been posting about it, reacting to it, and calling people out by name. So, when this whole AA Wilson situation blew up, according to insiders on the Bucks team, Koozma already had his thoughts locked and loaded.
But before we get to what he said, you need to remember that viral clip where Wilson was caught on camera talking to her teammate Kelsey Plum about Paige Buers. She was essentially insulting both of them, saying that she liked how they were aware of their privilege as white women in basketball. and she knows how her privilege has got her to that point and also like she's good at basketball obviously [music] but like she understands her privilege and pushes her over the top.
The video blew up the internet and some people called it what it was while Wilson claimed she was just giving them credit for being good allies. Either way, it looked messy. Fast forward to August 2026 and Koozma drops this tweet on X.
He was reacting to the WNBA's trans alathlete situation. But the broader point runs directly through everything Wilson has been doing, too. Because the same league that 30 years of women built is now being represented by a player going into the stands over a fan deleting tweets and making the game about race.
And at a recent event, someone in Koosma's circle said he doubled down and said this. One of the greatest players in the league going into the stands over a guy pointing at her. Every girl who dreamed about playing in the WNBA deserved better than that moment.
That's coming from a guy who actually respects what women's basketball is supposed to stand for. But the next reaction hits on a totally different level because of where the guy plays. Jaylen Brunson runs New York City basketball.
He took over the Knicks and became the undisputed face of the franchise, playing 41 home games a year inside Madison Square Garden, which is easily the most intense, unforgiving fan base on planet Earth. The garden crowd will elevate you to superstar status and boo you out of the building in the same quarter if you aren't performing up to expectation. Brunson has been booed in that building.
People have screamed that he's overpaid. But he has navigated all of that heavy pressure without ever making the fans his personal enemy, without ever charging the baseline, and without ever crying at a podium. That fan behavior is unacceptable.
Meanwhile, AA Wilson, who was visiting Indianapolis, hopped on the mic after confronting an innocent fan in a game and said this. I don't give a damn what you said. I don't give a damn how you said it.
The tone that is unacceptable. You don't step towards me. You never should step and point at me.
I'm not I'm not I'm not for that. Sources close to Brunson's team revealed that when this came up in conversation, he just laughed and said, "MSG boos me. MSG loves me.
That's the deal. You don't get to pick which version of the crowd shows up. You just play.
The second you make the crowd the story, you've already lost the game. And then there's the whole Caitlyn Clark situation that Brunson honestly cannot wrap his head around. Oh yeah.
Wilson went on record saying Clark's rookie season actually erased WNBA history. By the way, this is the exact same rookie season that shattered every single viewership record in league history, sold out arenas nationwide, generated more money than the league had ever touched, and brought an entirely new demographic of fans to women's basketball. But even with all that, Wilson's takeaway from that was that it somehow wiped out the past.
If that isn't hate and jealousy, then I don't know what is. Now, Luca Donuch was the next player who had something to say. And what Luca said about Wilson starts with something she said about herself, not something a reporter dug up or took out of context, something she said out loud on camera while laughing about it.
Wilson went on Hot Ones, and when they asked her if pettiness fuels her, she said this. Does pettiness fuel you as an athlete? Absolutely.
[laughter] Absolutely. It's sickening. It's really bad how much pettiness [music] fuels me.
But yes, you watch that and suddenly the last two years of AA Wilson's behavior make complete sense. But here is where Luca comes in. Because right around the same time all of this was happening, Wilson quietly opted out of the 2026 USA basketball training camp with no explanation.
Meanwhile, the WNBA came out and gave specific details about Kelsey Plum's injury when she pulled out. But for Wilson, they said nothing. But sure, it's the white players that are enjoying privilege, right?
According to insiders on the Lakers, someone brought up AA Wilson's situation during training, and he said this. You say pettiness drives you. You love to push buttons.
Okay, fine. That's your thing. But then you opt out of representing your country with no explanation.
That's not mental health. That's just picking and choosing when the pressure suits you. And Luca has every right to say that.
The dude left Slovenia as a teenager, took brutal weight criticism his entire early career, and got traded away unexpectedly. But through every single failure, he never once dodged his national team. He showed up every single time.
The difference between Wilson saying pettiness fuels her and then pulling out of national team duties with no explanation is exactly the kind of thing that NBA players notice. And nobody notices it louder than Anthony Edwards. All right, we got to talk about Aunt Edwards because his reaction to this entire situation is the funniest thing you've seen all day.
You have to remember what actually happened earlier because people somehow forgot how insane this got. Back in May 2024, AA Wilson went on record telling multiple media outlets that race was the main reason Caitlyn Clark was so popular. She literally said her blood boils when people deny it and basically labeled the entire Indiana fan base as hostile and racist.
So, the WNBA had no choice but to start an official investigation into a Fever versus Sky game where all these claims came from. They spent nine full days reviewing every piece of audio and video, talking to staff, fans, and literally everyone in the arena. And you won't believe what came out when they finished.
The league officially admitted they couldn't find a single shred of evidence. Not one verified incident. Apparently, the whole allegation was completely made up out of thin air.
It was so bad that Indiana Senator Jim Banks was so fed up that he publicly demanded an apology from the league and every player who pushed that narrative without proof. But instead of apologizing a whole year later, Wilson literally charges into the stands in Indianapolis. [music] And the league investigated yet again and found no evidence of wrongdoing from the fan.
When Aunt Edwards heard about all of this, someone close to the Timberwolves said he lost his mind laughing. He literally said, "Bro, she spent 2 years telling everyone the fans were racist and the league spent 9 days investigating it and found absolutely nothing. 9 days.
And then she charged into the stands and it's the same thing all over again. That's low-key embarrassing. " And listen, this is coming from the same guy who dropped an Adidas commercial roasting LeBron James and Jaylen Brown at the same time without giving a damn.
So, if Aunt Edwards is telling you that something is embarrassing, you know it's bad. But if you think the Indiana drama stops with Ant, it gets way more personal with Tyrese Hallebertton because those are literally his fans in his building. Hallebertton plays for the Indiana Pacers.
Indiana is his city. Those are his fans. And on top of that, Tyrese and his wife are actually really close with Caitlyn Clark, so he was fully locked in.
He even posted a support video for the Fever right before game two, which turned out to be the exact game where Wilson went into the crowd. And remember, Tyrese was sitting out the whole season with a torn Achilles, so he had to watch all of this play out from his couch without being able to do anything about it. Think about how ridiculous this looked from his perspective.
Wilson spent two straight years calling Indiana fans hostile and racist. Then, to make matters worse, 2 days after the altercation with the fan, her mom showed up to game three walking around the court waving a giant love beats hate sign right at those same fans. And when a reporter simply asked her what the sign meant, her mom blew up, got right in his face, started pointing fingers, and had to be pulled away by another fan.
And publicly, Tyrese kept it super clean. He just tweeted out a classy shout out praising the Fever for a great season. But behind closed doors, he was reportedly furious.
Someone in the Indiana basketball community leaked what he actually said, and he made a fantastic point. He said, "Those fans came out for that series, and they did nothing wrong. Every investigation said the same thing and then they get a love beats hate sign waved at them in their own building.
Is that what the league has come to? And I know you think things can't get crazier than this, but just wait until you hear what Victor Weebyama had to say about the mom. Look, Victor Webbyama might only be 22 years old, but he's already one of the smartest, most nononsense guys in basketball.
This is the same guy who publicly called out sports betting endorsements earlier, flat out saying it's sad to see NBA players promoting gambling to fans. He doesn't care about being fake nice or chasing clout. He just speaks his mind.
And what he thinks about AA Wilson and her mom's situation is the most accurate thing anyone has said about this whole situation. We reportedly said to teammates at a Spurs practice session, "She held a sign about love while pointing at a reporter for asking a question. Her daughter went into the stands because a fan pointed at her.
At some point, you have to ask, does anyone in that family understand what self-reflection is? So, here is what happened. After the Aces knocked out the fever in game three, Wilson's mom, Eva, walked around the entire court waving a giant pink heart sign that said, "Love beats hate.
" Aes fans were loving it. But then, a reporter named John Root, walked up and asked a totally normal question about who the sign was actually meant for. Instead of answering like a normal human, Ava completely lost her cool.
She started pacing back and forth, yelling and aggressively pointing her finger in his face, repeating that she meant exactly what the sign said. It got so intense that another fan had to physically jump in and pull her back. Think about how wild that looks.
You have the mom in the exact same arena 2 days later holding a peace sign while aggressively pointing her finger at a reporter the same way her daughter pointed her finger at a fan before charging into the stands. But the next player who had an opinion went somewhere completely different. And here's where things start getting really dark and messy because Michael Porter Jr.
found out what Natasha Cloud, Aza's friend, said about the fan who was cleared of everything. And what Cloud implied about that man with zero evidence is so far over the line that Porter could not stay quiet about it. [music] Natasha Cloud decided to pour gasoline on a fire that was already burning out of control.
She hopped on social media and essentially implied that the guy who pointed at Wilson probably lays hands on his wife at home. Oh, and she said all this with zero evidence. Not a shred of proof, just a wild public accusation thrown at a fan.
All because he commented on a game he paid to attend. And guess what the league's response was to her accusing an innocent guy of domestic abuse on the internet? Nothing.
No punishment or consequences, just silence. And here's where it gets personal. Because Michael Porter Jr.
knows a thing or two about getting dragged through the media. He's had his own share of public controversies. People have called him a conspiracy theorist and tried to crucify him over things he said.
He knows what it's like when your words get twisted, but there is a huge gap between saying something dumb on a podcast and publicly trying to ruin an innocent man's life with baseless abuse allegations. Word leaked from people close to his camp that when this came up, MPJ didn't hold back at all. He looked right at his guys and said, "Your teammate goes on social media and tries to say things about that man with zero proof and the league says absolutely nothing, but they're the ones preaching about love and hate.
Come on, man. The double standard is gross. " But the standards get even wilder when you bring Kevin Durant into the conversation because nobody in NBA history has less patience for people who talk a big game and refuse to back it up.
Kevin Durant once told Dylan Brooks during a heated trash talk exchange that his absolute worst season is better than Brooks's career peak. KD has zero tolerance for phonies and he holds himself to an impossible basketball standard and he expects every single person running the sport to do the exact same thing. Look at how the league handled Wilson's little excursion into the crowd.
They actually tried to argue that she stayed within the designated court area, so rule 12A didn't technically apply. Give me a break. Wilson herself admitted postgame that she meant to confront the fan because there are certain things she's just not going to allow anymore.
That is not someone who accidentally tripped over the baseline. That was a targeted move. KD's standard is pretty simple.
If you are going to carry yourself as the face of a professional sports league, you actually have to act like it every time, not just when things are going your way. According to someone in KD's inner circle, he brought it up and kept it 100%. He said, "The rule book clearly calls for an automatic ejection, yet the league just handed out a weak tech and swept it under the rug.
What kind of standard are we even pretending to hold people to here? Because it sure doesn't look like the same one they use for everyone else. " And that brings us straight to Klay Thompson, who has survived every brutal injury and public storm imaginable without ever once making the fans his enemy.
He tore his ACL, his Achilles, and had to leave the only championship home he ever knew in Golden State, bounce to Dallas, and then land in Miami for the 2026 season. He has endured the highest levels of public pressure without ever making the fans his personal enemy. Now, look at how AA Wilson acted.
I mean, sure, the Aces won the series. She dropped 36 points in game three, but the only thing people remember about that entire playoff run isn't her basketball. It's the fact that a regular guy in the front row completely got inside her head.
Klay has always lived by one rule. Let the game do the talking. He fought through every physical and mental obstacle life threw at him and let his jumper answer the critics.
Someone close to Klay leaked what he said about the entire situation. He said she's a four-time MVP and one of the best to ever touch a basketball. Yet, the only thing people are going to remember from her 2026 playoffs is a fan pointing at her.
That's what happens when you hand the crowd the remote control to your emotions. Just let the game talk. At the end of the day, basketball is supposed to be about buckets, not a reality TV soap opera.
When your entire postseason gets hijacked by deleted tweets and attacking fans, you've lost the plot. Do you think WNBA players are going to clean up their act next season, or are we about to get an even worse season? Drp your thoughts in the comments.
Let me know what you think.
