Raised To Fight - Part 5 || Midweek Service Full Sermon || 25th September, 2024

Are glad to be in the house of God yes praise God welcome four people to midweek [Music] serviceing as you take your [Music] seat the living Thank You [Music] choir do you love the word of God yes yes so we are still on the topic that we've been on raised to fight That's part number five I guess yeah if I don't stop somewhere we just be going going going going like that because there's a lot to say about our walk in Christ where do I start today well we've had quite a good background for the

topic so let's see 1 Timothy chapter 6 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 12 quite a popular scripture he said fight someone say fight fight I don't think there's any debate as to whether the Christian is in a fight or not because the scriptures are replete with not only examples but with clear instructions on whether we are in a fight of or not now I know that like I always say some Christians have swung it To the Very extreme to make it look as though we are constantly fighting um some also say there's no fight I

wonder why Christians many Christian circles in their uh doctrinal argument s and battles it is either or sometimes it's not either or sometimes it is this end that's it's like uh those who Say we are we are in Victory so no fight and those who say we are fighting we have not had the victory you see it's not either or both can coexist because that's the nature of spiritual truth the nature of spiritual truth is it's sometimes not in one side of the pendulum sometimes you're dealing with the same thing that's why the scripture says

what you need to do is to rightly divide It cuz both can exist you just need to rightly divide it and when we talk about rightly divided we are not telling you to put it in the middle and I use this as an example to explain to people who has a paper Bible whoo wow must be nice we used to carry our paper Bible to church some years ago even me I didn't bring paper Bible praise God all right when you have A paper Bible um something you'd see is let me use your book to

explain you see that if someone told you to rightly divide according to Testaments rightly divide the book if you open to the middle you'll be wrong you'll still be in Old Testament so when you open rightly to the New Testament it's going to look something like this that you have rightly divided to rightly divide doesn't mean put it in the Middle to rightly divide just means put it where it's supposed to be you see so a lot of the the things that are taught are not either or it can can be this end that you

see for example some say God has blessed us then some say when we give we'll be blessed so two straight P some say God has blessed us we don't need to do anything to be blessed and someone say when you give you'll be blessed is it Either or it's not either or both are correct you just need to know where to divide it are we already blessed yes we are and Jesus Christ said it is more blessed to give than to receive so both can uh exist they can live both can live together in the

same place so it's not either or so a lot of the doctrinal wars like for example one time I was looking for violence and I went on One went on one social media and I said you know some people have been arguing that uh whether I mean having a having people having a lot of people doesn't mean you are doing Ministry but why must he be there so I said yes having people doesn't mean you are doing Ministry also not having people also doesn't mean you are doing Ministry then I Suggested that having people doesn't

mean you're doing Ministry also not having people doesn't mean you're doing Ministry but between having people and not having people you definitely have one have people that's my suggestion because there's a lot you can do when you have more you see and I thought we were all winning the world how can we win the world and not have People but if you want to have few people thank you you see all right so when uh we're talking about race to fight Ephesians chapter 6 verse 10 I wish I had more days to share you know

some sometimes topics like this I wish I had seven days so that we can get go in go in go inside all right finally my brethren be strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might Boy verse 11 put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the W of the devil now look at this for we wrestle not against flesh and blood you know I I was talking to you on Sunday about praise God I was talking to you on Sunday about Ephesus how many of you

were there right you're here on Sunday Right yeah and those online don't be don't put your leg like this and be eating popcorn and say you are watching midweek service you have to be serious I'm talking to somebody yes sir sir sir sir you know if for some reason or the other you could not make it to service which is what I recommend most of the time to be onite for midweek service I'll tell you why because I initially wanted to have midweeks online it was the Holy Spirit that told me move It on site

so that means the Holy Spirit thinks onsight is something so that would be my first recommendation but then if for one reason or the other you at home and you're watching don't be eating and lying down Pastor is really preaching no no no no no sit up with your notebook and your pen like you would do if you were in church it's called the fear of the Lord and that is the beginning of Wisdom I know I just punched somebody with food right now praise God so I was talking about about the Church of Ephesus

all right I said Ephesus was a very very um spiritually tight place all right it was a very spiritually tight place and that's the reason why Paul is teaching them on warfare he says cuz you don't see it in any of the Epistles where Paul is talking to them about about they wrestle Not against flesh and blood it was with the Corinthians that he told them that though we walk in the flesh we not water the flesh but then over here he's talking of for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities so

he's training the Ephesian Christians on something because some of the things he faced there and you saw that uh on Sunday I brought you in in in Acts chter 19 where um the people who were carrying Books magical books and incantations spend a lot of money they spend a lot of money in being diabolical all right and I tell good people that they should invest in being good because good people are wasted a lot some of the reasons is that you know sometimes good people become are naive they are very unsuspecting of evil but the

Bible says that a prudent man seeth evil aaroh in fact what the Bible actually says is That the impudent man seeth the evil are far off not evil seeth the evil that means whatever is coming seen he has seen the evil in it that's very very uh instructive that means something's somebody's approaching him he's already seeing the evil but you see good people are usually naive accept everyone accept everything they cannot even anticipate Evil they can't anticipate evil because they trust everybody and then they are dealt a blow that they cannot recover from a story

I knew about um a young man very good guy was working in a corporation was invited somewhere and he was given food and the food had been poisoned how couldn't you tell someone is asking but sir how would he tell you should be able to tell and That's the reason why s um good people that you must also be good in your good how can you say you're a good man you woke up in the morning you not pray that's an that's a naive man that's not a good man because if you want to be

a good man you wake up you pray so that you can anticipate evil praise God so he said finally Brethren be strong in the Lord Lord and in the power of His might be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might Then he says put on the whole armor of God the whole armor and I told you I said that armor is not for photo shoot it's for war he said that you may be able to stand against the Ws of the devil now what was this about the Ephesian Church look at

something Paul say said about Ephesian Church to the Corinthians First Corinthians chapter 15 1 Corinthians chapter 15 look at I start from verse 30 so he says and why stand we in jeop every hour now Paul is talking about you know his Apostolic Journeys he says why am I suffering why I'm standing Jo party every hour all right why am I preaching I'm going around all right cuz he's trying to address the matter of Resurrection but that's not my point I want you to see something he said there verse 31 I protest by your rejoicing

which I have in Christ Jesus our lord I Die daily verse 32 if after the man of men I have fought with beast at Ephesus is I fought with beast at Ephesus he's not calling them human beings so those are beasts evil men now this is double reference because he's talking about the phys physical Beast not animals he's talking about I dealt with human beings I also dealt with Spirit beings and those were beasts At Ephesus so you can see why he's teaching them on spiritual warfare because when he was in Ephesus to preach he

says I fought with beasts at Ephesus H interesting right okay go back to 1 Timothy again 6:12 said if after the man of men I fought with beast at eus let's go there vers fight the good fight of Faith then I want you to see this lay hold on eternal life I thought we already have Eternal life how can you be telling me to lay hold on something I have okay Philippians chapter 3 verse 12 not as though I had already attained either were already perfect you remember not enough sir or Never Enough right yes

sir okay he said not as though I'd already attained after all that Paul had done he said I've not attained he says either we're already Perfect he said but I follow after that means I'm still I'm still running all right I follow after I'm doing more he said if that why am I doing more he said if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus okay NIV let's make it simple not that I've already obtained all this or I have arrived at my goal but I press on to take

hold of that for which Christ Jesus Took hold of Me so he says there's a reason why Christ Jesus Took hold of me there are some things that some promises that I received some things that came into my life when Christ Jesus Took hold of me he said so now I press on that I will take hold of that which Christ is took hold of me now that sounds like I thought he has already taken hold of me he says no Christ Jesus can take hold of you and say you have this you have that

this is Going to happen in your life he says but it might never happen until you press on and take hold of it interesting conversation so that word is apprehend you know there's a difference between comprehend and apprehend some Christians comprehend the truth but they have not apprehended the truth so to explain to them that Christ Jesus has done this and that in their life yes they understand it they can explain it to you they can say Oh by his Stries I'm Healed but they're sick they can explain it to you they comprehend it but

they have not apprehended it there's an apprehen I of the truth he a lay hold on eternal life how do you do that Paul he said fight the good fight of Faith lay hold on eternal life it's a fight it's a fight to lay hold on it sir you see you are dealing with rebellious circumstances that are defying the word Of God okay go to the Book of Psalms I want to show you something there Psalm 149 I'm going to read from verse 7 Psalm 149 from verse number 7 remember what I taught you about

oppressors right oppressors never recognize the document so it's said in the word of God that this is what supposed to be this is what you're supposed to do this is what you have this is what you are but then you Are experiencing something totally different today I I I I will share a few things with you so you understand especially intercessory prayer okay let's start from verse number I said seven right let's start from six let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand all right let the

high praises of God be in their Mouth and two head sword in their hand interesting to execute vengeance upon the Heathen and punishments upon the people next verse to bind their kings with chains now this is also double reference he's remember what I taught you I think the last midweek service I said what you see as a physical thing in the Old Testament becomes spiritual in the new all right okay um maybe on Sunday I'll talk to you about the king of tha And the prince of tha one is physical one is spiritual so he

says to bind their kings with chain hold on no wonder Jesus told us about whatsoever you bind on Earth is bound in heaven to bind their kings with chains the Kings there not necessarily just physical Kings is talking about spiritual princes now in Bible terminology a prince is not the son of a King a Prince means first or a prince means a leader so people talk about Prince of Peace Jesus is a prince of peace uh as though like he's the son of some peace okay no Prince of Peace there actually is king of Peace

that's why he's after the order of mkis EDC king of Salem salm is peace so don't look at King and Prin like that all right let's go to bind their kings with chains and Their nobles with feets of iron okay okay then he says to execute upon them the Judgment written that means there's a judgment written but you have to execute it so are demons defeated yes but you need to execute it someone has a dream she wakes up lashes all over her body in the dream she was being lashed I mean if you um

the the ladies when we are the ladies online I was dealing with Some spiritual things some of the things that some of them had been through spiritually that we had to execute the Judgment written are they supposed to go through that no because if any man be in Christ he is a new creation all things have passed away behold all things have become new so are they supposed to go through that no but are they going Through that yes so what do you do you execute the Judgment written so you can't even do anything about

it until you even know the Judgment written what does the word of God say about you and demons they are under your feet I am I talking to somebody here sir that you have Christ's name you have the the name of Jesus Christ to deal with them you can bind their kings with chains you can deal with them but then the Oppressors are very very um rebellious they they'll behave like they don't know they don't know they don't know they don't know they are not supposed to be there have you ever seen squatters on a

land they'll be living there as though it's their legitimate land who has ever seen squatters on a land before they you go they are cooking the owner of the land will go they will just they'll be having conversations with the owner of the Land they behave like demons yeah the way they behave the way squatters behave is exactly how demons behave in fact demons are actually called squatters in some versions yeah yeah demons are called squatters in some versions of scripture they are squat they they they don't belong there what they're looking for is an

opening they just passing around this land they just notice that nobody is Here nobody is here nobody is here M they will come and put up a small kiosk nobody came to bring their wife nobody came they start cooking nobody came they will start giving birth nobody came after four five children you say the land is for you he say it's not for you they are the ones have taken care of the land the big the they make people Paralyzed and they take their lands they are behaving exactly how demons are they just needed a

little opening a little opening you just want to get the wrong girlfriend yeah demon says oh okay nice place they enter nobody came they will be there nobody came oh they start with your academics nobody came they now move to your finances nobody came you think you need to work Harder they now move to your health nobody came by the time you realize you look at yourself you look like you you are really good for nothing that's how they deal with people but the guy is a Christian sometimes what else they do is they looking

for the next available option to enter into the person number one way is their words their words you are in your room Alone you say I'm suffering a lot they'll come close and tell you it's true I've been I'm good for nothing this life I'm a useless thank you then they get in he thought it was just a moment but they got that as an opening he said to execute upon them the Judgment written this honor have all his Saints praise ye the Lord we have that honor we have the honor to be able to

execute the Judgment Written am I talking to somebody [Applause] here oh thank you thank you Lord Jesus you see when you're dealing with these kind of spirits you're fighting from Victory you are not fighting for victory you know the land is yours am I talking to somebody here you know your health is yours am I talking to somebody here you know your health is yours you're not trying to get something that Does not belong to you it's yours sir there's just a squatter there am I talking to somebody here sir you know you have to

know how to deal with squatters deal with squatters deal with spiritual forces that are going against the the Judgment written there's a way your life is supposed to go but these Spirits some of these Spirits can sometimes Be in a particular it's it's amazing in a particular place okay go to the Book of Matthew well maybe Luke has a his version of it but maybe we should start from John John 17 sorry praise God hallelujah let's go to the Book of Mark chapter 5 how you Doing Mark 5 verse um maybe start from verse four

let's let's let's go because that he had often bound with feetus and CH did you see that and that's the reason why I want to take Mark's own because Mark had spiritual language for this particular story okay let's start from verse one do you get it you know the story so there's something I want to bring out there for you and they came over to the other side Of the scene into the country of the gines and when he was come out of the ship immediately they met him out of the tombs a man with

an unclean spirit H who had his dwelling among the tombs and no man could bind him no not with chains all right because he had been often bound with fets and chains remember the book of Psalms to bind their kings with feets and chains but this man had been bound not only with physical chains he Had been bound by the devils and the chains had been plucked aund by him and the feathers broken in pieces neither could any man tame him next verse and always night and day he was in the mountains and in the

tombs crying and cutting himself with stones let me tell you something if you are here and you all you've been having maybe depressive spells and you feel like cutting yourself you are seeing you are dealing with Devils there are devils in You and don't take it lightly don't think that I F I just feel like cutting myself you are you you you are you you are playing the fool it's demons because this man wanted to cut himself with stones it's demons that do that where did you learn it I know people like that they just

said I feel like cutting myself what do you mean by that how you allowing demons to talk to You you see people cutting themel is Devils this man was cutting himself with stones he will be crying and cutting himself with stones so you find yourself all the time you want to be alone you'll be crying and you feel like cutting yourself I mean there are some people that Who Come and Talk who come and tell me and and they they even have cuts on their body said when you learn it it's Demons why you want

to cut yourself it's Devils this is what was happening to that man okay let's go but when he saw Jesus a far off he run and worshiped him now why am I rebuking you you think I should call you for and rebuke the devil I can do that but I want to rebuke you why because there's something about human beings that no matter the demon that is oppressing you You can still make a same decision remember when the demons were cast into the pigs the pigs could not have any decision they just run straight into

the sea to kill themselves but not so with human beings God has given you something that's more powerful it's your will you can run and go straight and say I'm I'm I'm getting rid of this today yes sir get rid of that thing get rid of that depression get come out of it sir you don't need prayers come out of it Sir just wake up in the morning and say from today no longer depress that's it say Pastor is that that simple yes thank you sir you don't understand I told you the number one way

of not getting your problem solved is for you to think that nobody understands the scripture says there's no temptation that has come to man that is not common to man anything you are going through is common to human Beings well Master he's hard he's hard when he saw Jesus he had demons but he run to Jesus the demons could not stop him from running to Jesus is that not remarkable yes sir it is the demons could not stop him from running to Jesus okay next verse and cried with a loud voice and said what I

have to do with thee Jesus thou son of the most high high God I Ado thee by God that thou torment me not now The demons are speaking and telling Jesus what's going on here legal conversation the demons are telling Jesus now the man has run but the demons start speaking that Jesus don't torment me I adore thee by God what legal conversation okay next verse for he said unto him come out of the man thou unclean Spirit you see Jesus said come out of come out of the man th unclean Spirit the unclean spirit

says I Ado thee by God don't torment me next verse and he asked him what is thy name and he answered saying my name is Legion for we are many next verse and he besought this want to see and he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country that means these demons belong to that Country they didn't want to go out of that country that's why you see certain sicknesses in certain countries certain character traits in certain countries like gossip ghanians every country they gosip ghanians always talking about something

that does not concern them now this this is a thing there's another country that is a neighbor of Ghanians but I won mention their name there another country they are also nosy but they nosing your face but ghans they are not nosing your face they behave like they are innocent and don't say anything but behind they will be saying all sorts of things how can you be asking your friend why Pastor is not wearing ring how's that how's that part of your [Applause] [Music] Business I just give someone aat you see you see let me

tell you something let me let me tell you something you don't listen you don't relate with a Spiritual Authority or spiritual relationship canally David said I do not exercise myself in matters too high for me Corinthians did It the Corinthians I'm of Paul I'm of Apollo Apollo preaches better Paul preaches better Paul said you are Canal your pastor's age where he stays that's none of your business what your relation with him is the word of God yes sir of L I've been seeing that M Pastor has changed his haircut how's that your business it's a

spiritual sir until one day you go and discuss something that will now break your Faith uh if you don't know whether it is true or not let me show you another one Titus Chapter one we come back here Titus Chapter one now is Paul is Paul is talking to Titus about creit and creit is where he sent titos so he's telling them the attitude of the Christians look at it Titus ch 1:2 he said one of themselves even a prophet of their own said the cretians are always Liar evil beasts slow bellies T me you

see it's a characteristic of those crans and everyone knows that to be consistently lying is a lying spirit yes sir one of their own men a prophet from creit you understand so he's giving them spiritual information one of their own men a prophet from creit has said about them these men of creit are all Liars they are like lazy animals living only to satisfy their stomachs have you been to a country like that they eat they can't fast so Darkness listen so Darkness overtakes their cities when they say they fasting that when they say they

I don't mention any of the country when they say they fasting 6 to 12 6 to 12 6 6 to 12 that's they can eat there's a country like that a friend Of mine went went to New York and sorry I didn't mean to say it yay I've said it I want get said on the street you will be seeing sin sin sin standing have you ever seen sin with your eyes on the street you see another man from Chicago told me when you are passing there like this you can smell sin sin praise God

no matter what you say that's your praying father father if there s let's go we go and see it for ourself boy he said don't take us out of this country Revelation Chapter 2 see another one there one of the things you see about the Israelites was indifference it's a spirit indifference they are not against God but they also not for God indifference Elijah confronted him say are you for are you for bow or you are for God say they kept quiet that we can't talk against God but bow to is sorting out our issues

one one by one but we fear God it's religiosity no devotion okay Revelation chapter 2 verse number 10 now In in Jesus Christ addressing the churches and he addressed one of the churches in one of the Cities pegamos one day I'll do a teaching on pegamos for you fear none of those things which Thou shalt suffer behold the devil shall cast some of you into prison okay maybe we start from verse 8 and onto the angel of the church in spena write these things say the first And the last which was dead and is alive

keep going I Know Thy works and tribulation and poverty but Thou Art rich and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews and are not but are of the but are the synagogue of Satan can really you are called synagogue of Satan okay next verse I'll explain that later fear none of those things which thou shal suffer behold the devil shall Cast some of you into prison that you may be tried and you shall have tribulation 10 days be thou faithful unto death and I'll give thee a Crown of Life praise God

next verse he that had an ear let him hear what the spirit said unto the churches he that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death so Jesus Christ tells them that this church you're going to suffer some things and be faithful unto death what a Destiny but it's not a bad Destiny it is a good Destiny nobody wants to say Amen am okay and onto the angel of church in pamos right these things sayth he which ha the sharp sword with two edges so Jesus is in in in the other uh verses Jesus

addressed himself in different Ways he had had the is so you see how he addressed himself is who he's going to be to that church but when he came to pamos he's addressing himself differently and to the angel of the church in pamos that's the pastor of the church in pamos writ these things said he which had the sharp sword with two edges that's Warfare okay how do I know next verse I Know Thy works and where thou Dwellest where you live where this church is located even where Satan's seat is that means in that

city of pamos Satan's headquarters was there sometimes you'll be surprised why there's a there are churches that the holy spirit will just be moving them in Warfare every time they are praying and in fact I'm starting a new prayer meeting at 12:00 midnight 12:00 to1 the title of the Prayer meeting is we are still praying yes sir it starts tonight we what's the name of the prayer meeting we are still praying Sometimes some of the pastors will lead it sometimes I'll lead it but intercessory prayer first of all for the nation of Ghana don't say

that oh you praying for Ghana you are in the M country with me we are still Praying because sometimes God will move you to pray and because of certain peculiarities of your city in fact where our church is located has certain peculiarities one day I'll discuss them with you there certain there are certain spiritual forces that operate in this vicinity and sometimes it could be someone's family sometimes it could be someone's area the area you Live he said where Satan's seat is so Jesus um introduced himself as the one with the two eded sword in

his mouth okay look let's look at it and thou holdest fast my name so that means not everywhere is really Satan's headquarters there are headquarters there are some countries you enter and you can feel the weight of the godlessness I've traveled so I know what I'm saying you can feel the Godlessness I Know Thy works on where thou dwellest even where Satan seed is and thou holdest fast my name and has not denied my faith even in those days wherein antipast was my faithful matah who was slain among you where Satan dwelleth H okay now

how do you deal with these kind of things how do you deal with it cuz we had to execute the Judgment written let's look at something Jesus said Matthew 17 I've shown you things in the Old Testament I've shown you things in the New Testament the truth is always you know it always correlates it's consistent the truth is always consistent okay look at verse 20 the disciples asked Jesus why they could not cast him out let's see something Jesus said and Jesus said unto them because of your unbelief for verily I say unto you if

you have faith as a grain of Master seed you shall say unto this mountain remove hands to Y place and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you okay so you have faith right yeah Jesus is teaching them on faith so sometimes say say oh the reason why this person was not healed this reason why this person not get this thing we don't get it because he had Faith we don't get because he had Faith all right why didn't this happen because we know he has faith we know he had Faith Why didn't

it happen but Jesus add a clause added a clause to it that changes this thing that he said next verse how be it this kind this kind that means all problems are not of the same kind do you understand the word how be it how be it is a very strong word like when you read the Bible and you see but You see Peter was put in prison but you there you know that everything is about to change Peter was put in prison but somebody explained but as big U1 do you see that big u

10 but but prayer was made okay Jesus talks to said if you have a GRE uh as a grain of Master seed you shall sit on this mountain remove and C to Y place and and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible on to you that looks like Some great okay I've got I've got F he said how be it this kind say how be you're dealing with something that is different you know our cases are never the same I okay another the same how be it this kind goeth not out but by prayer

and fasting and he didn't tell us how long he didn't tell us how long when I'm going to give you four steps I know people like Steps yes Sir four steps you want to deal with a thing you can start with prayer if it does not go move to the second step prayer and fasting if it does not go move to the T Step Prayer fasting and seclusion if it does not go move it to the fourth Step Prayer fasting seclusion with tears now in all these steps the most Important thing is either the word

or instruction that the Lord will give you sometimes while you're doing the holy spirit will tell you make a vow or go go and give something or go and do this or go and do that the holy spirit will give you an instruction so four steps you pray you pray pray pray you're not seeing anything you go prayer and fasting is it because of God no that prayer and fasting is not to convince God we are not trying to convince God if you're not trying to convince God you should just do it no no no

Luke 18 verse one look at it it's not because of God God is Not Wicked look at this and he spake a parable unto them I'm going to read it then I'll show you something there and he spake a parable unto them because many of you know this and he spoke a Parable unto them that men ought always to pray and not to faint next verse saying there was in a city a judge which feared not God neither disregarded neither regarded man and there was a widow in that City and she came unto him saying

avenge me of my adversary and he would not for a while but afterward he said within himself though I fear not God nor regard man all right yet because this Widow troubleth me I will avenge her lest by her continual coming she Weary me and the Lord said here what the unjust judge said and shall not God avenge his own elect which cry day and night unto him though he be along with them I tell you that he will avenge them speedly okay hold on we usually preach this to say we should keep going to

God and going to God no here you have to understand what relates with us what relates with God now here he's telling you to be like the Widow but then he's telling you this is quite a uh a far throw why because in the analogy it's an unjust judge but our father is a just judge so he said would he rather reply speedily so the longevity of the prayer has never been God because in this analogy he says it was an unjust judge that did not fear God so is like Jesus trying to tell you

if an unjust judge can be moved to act come on now if an unjust can be move To act because of continual coming he said then think about it the just judge what will he do he will answer speedily but then there's something he will look for he said nevertheless you know when you read the Bible how be it nevertheless take note of them nevertheless when the son of man cometh shall he find faith on the Earth what you will look for is Faith but then you are also like that Woman in other words you
