paler is building an extremely strong foundational Network in the military because they are now expanding the maven Smart Systems artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to military services all right so on September 20th paler announced a contract awarded by devcom Army research laboratory which is going to help expand the maven smart system access across the military services to include the Army Air Force Space Force Navy and the US Marine Corps now the maven smart system is a data analysis and artificial intelligence platform developed as part of the US Department of defense's project Maven whose primary
goal is to integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning into the military particularly to improve the analysis of video footage captured by drones and other surveillance platforms the system integrates vast amounts of data from various sources such as satellite imagery geolocation information and sensor data to automatically identify and track potential targets and this system was developed by paler designed to improve military operations by providing real-time battle awareness logistical insights and decision-making support for commanders the platform uses machine learning and AI to analyze complex data sets and display the information on a unified interface allowing the military
to make faster and more informed decisions on the battlefield in fact the Pentagon recently expanded the system's deployment across multiple branches of the military under a $480 million contract significantly increasing the user base and operational scope and this firm fixed price contract is worth up to just shy of a $100 million over 5 years and simplifies and expedites the ability for services to access the existing capabilities within the maven smart system and this expanded user base is a result of the demand for the maven smart system to improve strategic and tactical operations within the military
Department to increase Readiness by building upon existing DOD capabilities paler platform will also support AI enabled battle space awareness Global integration Force management contested Logistics joint fires and targeting workflows and according to Akash Jame president of paler USG he said and I quote rapid fielding and adoption of critical technology including agile effective and responsible deployment of AI and ml is essential for the United States to maintain its competitive Advantage this contract vehicle will allow every Military Department to tap into the Innovation that the office of security of defense and NGA have created through Maven to
accelerate their own CJ adc2 programs we are proud to work alongside dozens of America's strongest technology providers supporting the broad initiative to provide America's War Fighters at every Echelon with the most effective capabilities available today all right so with the maven smart system software and Advanced Digital capabilities will ultimately act as a connective tissue between operators and sensor feeds platforms and algorithms these AI enabled capabilities will drastically enhance the speed and accuracy of the software ultimately improving decision- making so yeah it's really cool to see how paler continue to expand their tools and helping the
