How much is too much for a good gaming monitor? This is the Sony Inzone M10S, a 27 in 1440p OLED 480 Hz monitor. And to say it's impressive would be a massive understatement.
But the real question is, does it pass my long-term inspection? Let's find out. First and foremost, it has to have good build quality.
What continues to stand out to me the most is just how thin the screen is. This is my phone, and this is my monitor. Absolutely crazy.
Not to mention, this is the first monitor stand I actually don't hate. It's sturdy, fully adjustable, and best of all, doesn't consume a lot of desk space. Second, image quality.
Just like their TVs, the colors are bright, vibrant, and extremely accurate. But when you pair that with what Sony calls FPS Pro Plus, this legit enhances the colors of any character outline in game, which makes it feel like they're popping out from the screen. Finally, it has to perform well.
Now, I always thought that once you reached that 240 Hz mark, nothing could get any better. I was very, very wrong. To explain in words what 480 Hz actually feels like is impossible.
But please remember this. If your system can't run games at a consistent high frame rate, you'll never unlock or experience this monitor's full potential. But you all let me know in the comments what you think.
