hey what's up guys this is the new highboy ks4 pro i'm gonna unbox this thing take it out for a spin let you guys know my impressions and in another video i will do a full range test of this thing so battery 100 to zero percent so taking a quick look at the unboxing so this comes with a 500 watt motor it goes up to 19 miles an hour it has a range of up to 25 miles and it has 10 inch honeycomb tires so we have the power plug here which is 100 to 240
volts so it should pretty much work in most places so we have the screws the ln wrenches and we have the manual [Music] so looking at the controls hold its power on goes on you hit it once light goes on you see the little sign right there and it again goes up double tap it goes to the normal driving mode double tap again goes to the sport triple tap enables cruise control i don't really use cruise control so i'm not going to use that feature and then hold it and you're done so brakes disc brakes
in the back bill and throttle and this is the little hook that when it folds it latches here granted i could see myself hanging stuff from here as well now the app is optional but you could do additional things with it if you choose to get it so you would just follow that qr code install the app register it and good to go so it does a bluetooth search once it's close to the scooter the scooter just needs to be on and the phone searches for it finds it pretty quickly and now i can you
know turn on the lights from here i could lock it which if it moves it tells me on the app and it starts making this beeping noise and it becomes harder to push as well and then you have your driving modes here and you have your cruise control which i personally don't like to use and if you want to go from imperial to metric you just click on the zero and it changes it on the screen if you go to user and you go to device settings you can control more things from here so you
know depending on the mode you want so if you want drive mode to be limited to i don't know six miles an hour you could do that i just pretty much put everything on the max and then the sport mode i put it to 19 which actually that one was on 19. so zero start if you want the scooter to go without a kickstart the miles you can modify the device name so you get a few different options additional options here if you choose to use the app to fold the scooter you just push this
up pull this down and there's a little latch here so you need to push this up and it's going to clip into that little hook and then you're able to lift it up so this is the center of gravity it's 39 pounds or so and reverse the directions and boom one thing i did notice is this part flaps up and there seems to be a place for a seat post at least i'm assuming that's what it's for this thing goes all the way down and there are two screws on this side which are holding the
wheels as well but it's probably going to work together with it to hold the seat post i'm not exactly sure how it would attach but that's my assumption there are also springs so one on this side and another on the other side so to give this guy a bit more travel which makes it a bit softer when you turn the lights on not only do the headlights and taillights go on but also these side lights so you could see a whole bunch of these leds that go from the beginning of the deck all the way
to the back which really helps with visibility at night for people to see you and or cars to see you and here is the charge port so plug it in and you should be good to go so i took this thing out for a spin wrote it for about an hour or so and here are my first impressions starting off with acceleration it has normal acceleration which gets me to 19 miles an hour fairly quickly the brakes feel solid the way they feel is good they work very well and you don't feel like you're going
to fly off the scooter the aesthetics of the scooter are also good in terms of the deck size is pretty good for foot placement the handlebar is a good size the screen is easy to see even in direct sunlight so overall the scooter feels solid it feels like a very nice build quality now in terms of the max speed it is capped at 19 miles an hour however if you are going downhill i got up to 24 miles an hour according to the screen and even if you hold the throttle it doesn't go faster than
that but even without holding the throttle i was going 24 miles an hour now if you guys are wondering how comfortable are the honeycomb tires well the answer is it depends if you're on a smooth surface it's very smooth if you're on a rough surface you do tend to feel it a bit more compared to its pneumatic counterparts i should say other scooters with pneumatic tires and that's really a trade-off because you're essentially never going to get a flat because of the tires whereas again you are going to feel it a bit more on rougher
terrain now as far as the hills it does get me up the hills for the easy hills it's no problem for the ones with more incline well me being 200 pounds isn't exactly helping the situation however it does get me up there with slower speeds so in conclusion i think it's a great overall scooter considering its price let me know what you guys think in the comment sections below as always smash that subscribe button and i'll catch you guys in the next one
