today I'm going to show you how to make objects hover in Premiere Pro to begin set the duration of your clip to 8 seconds then under effect controls click the stopwatch animation button next to position now move the timeline slider ahead 1.5 seconds then increase the Y position value by 40 points move the timeline slider ahead another 1.5 seconds then decrease the Y position value by 40 points continue moving your timeline slider ahead 1.5 seconds and alternating between lowering and increasing this value for as long as you want the effect to last to smooth out
