100 Days as an ELDRITCH KNIGHT in Otherworld Hardcore! (DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS)

Otherworld is the ultimate Dungeons and Dragons modback. You go through [music] a brutal campaign with insane lore that scales with your player level. And for this video, I'll be playing as an Aldrich Knight, which is definitely one of the more difficult classes in this pack. Otherworld is unique in several ways, such as you have no natural regen, you have a thirst and temperature buff, and the origin you pick plays a massive role in how you play. Some classes can't make use of certain enchantments or even magic spells, so pick wisely. Oh my word. Oh my

word. And do remember to smash that like button and enjoy my pain and suffering. Okay, so starting out, we need to choose our race. This whole menu is really important. So, we're going to stay here for a while, but bear with me. What we pick here is extremely important because the whole mod pack kind of limits you towards your race. Like, it's not just, hey, pick this origin, you're going to get this and this and this. No, this is like, pick this origin, but keep in mind, you're not going to have access to this. you're

not going to have access to that. We're not going to be any of these fancy ones. I mean, they're good, but the human variant is the best one here. I think this mod pack is good if you play with magic, but this mod pack is really difficult if you play with melee, and I'll explain why. So, we're going to be a human with a variant. Then, we can choose our first two ability scores. So, this is like RLCraft's leveling menu. If you don't know what that is, you have a bunch of different stuff that you

can level in RLCraft, like your health, how much damage you do. So, this is Basically that we can choose what we want to pick to start out with. I'm going to go here with plus two constitution. This will give me some extra health. Honestly, anything that I pick here like I can pick between magic, defense, intelligence, and strength. I'm going to go with let's go with strength for now. Or actually, we're going to do intelligence. Now, this is an important menu. We could choose our first free feat. This menu only pops up when you level

up a certain amount of times in game. So getting to this menu in the first place takes around 10 days as that's what it took on my previous run at least. What I'm going to do though is we're going to go with the elemental adapt which is we're going to get immunity to temperature effects. Temperature in this mod pack is not a big deal. Like I don't remember it ever bothering me. Like I didn't even notice it exists. But this is going to help for when we go to the Nether and I don't have to

worry about getting a bunch of stuff to help with my temperature. This is just one less thing that we need to worry about in our playthrough. And then we're going to be the object knight because then we get access to offensive spells. We we are not going to be able to heal ourselves or fortify or oak skin. One cantrip. This is like a free spell that is built into your class. I'll show you now. For this mod pack, I wouldn't actually recommend you do what I'm doing. If you're going to be playing this mod pack,

just straight up pick one class that is really good. So like don't pick one that is mixy matchy. Just pick either straight magic or melee. I'm doing this mixy matchy one because it's cool for the video. Um honestly the best one here is chain lightning. Oh, that was a lot of yapping to get started with this mod pack. But I'm Liz, an Alrech Knight fighter with human heritage. You are known as an elemental adept. You can instantly cast the ability chain lightning. You have plus two to constitution and intelligence. Confirm. Let's quickly go in here.

Feel free to read what this quest book says if you want to pause and read it. But the biggest thing in this mod pack is there is no natural regen. I think of this mod pack as like a modern RL craft, just not as difficult. You can only regen through healing items like bandages, healing vials, and life steal. Okay, so you see there I just took a whole heart of damage by walking into berry bushes. So for us, our main objective in this mod pack right now to just survive the early game is to get

to a weapon called the heap of raw iron as soon as possible. Apotheiois is in here, but from what I could tell, it's heavily nerfed. Give me this bed, and then I can claim some more healing items. He hits that, bro. Okay, now we have to use a bandage. Wow. Yeah. After this video, I'm going to go back to it because I think it should have a lot more updates by the time I'm back with it. And I'm going to do a really fun challenge run. Holy good shovel. High modded is not there yet because

I don't think they can do anything with bosses just yet. I have a few. I looked yesterday and I was like, I wonder why there aren't any high tower boss mods. And I think it's because the engine that they're working on basically disables that whole portion of making bosses, if that makes sense. They're gonna have to do it all from scratch. I don't think they want to do that. Oh, right. Yeah. Someone someone commented on my previous video and they were like, um, you don't need to activate cheats to show the seed. So, my bad.

From now on on every single video, I'll just flash the seed on screen. I can't go take down a dragon that is level I mean, I can I can go take down a dragon that is level 15. And our best armor that we can find in the overworld is going to be diamond for a while. Luckily, this bowling does have a lot of that. Ooh, protection 4. I actually use that. Yeah, this blue tower is the ultimate cheese. Dude, I love this. This structure has to be my favorite structure in all of modern Minecraft. So,

we want to go to dead cells and kill conjunct dividers or whatever that eyeballs name is, which means she falls between these two chapters. Okay, he has a lot of health. Holy. Our first main boss besides conjunctivis is a knight that we need to go fight. We're going to have to parry him a lot. Beep of raw iron will allow us to play a little bit more reckless though. So yeah, he is actually like this guy is kind of classified as a boss because he drops a quest item. Uh we got flames reborn. Wait, what

is this? Flames Reborn for 200 mana. We won't be able to use Angel Wings because that's not an offensive scroll. I mean, let's see. Angel. Yeah, we can only cast that using a scroll. So, we're not allowed to use that. Unlucky. You see, the other thing we can do is we can also get Regeneration from the Nightmare Scythe from Born and Chaos. We could also rock the full Nightmare Armor set, which will buff that weapon tremendously. Then, if you're the first to make a good it boss mod, you're going to be eating good. Let me

level this one more time. I can get some extra health, which is great. I'm going to take this dead cells portal with me. Oh, dude. I need to go play Dead S again. I need to go in here, go to intelligence, and level this until I can get the squad skill, which is only one more level. Oh, how do I get a build like this guy? I love my Hory, and my horsey loves me. Yeah, it's a quick horseshy. Okay, we're going to be able to make the heap of raw iron in a moment. Let's

go. What do you mean? That's my bed. Oh, you can be so glad my sword didn't swing there. You can be so glad. So, here's what the heap of raw iron does. It of course does a lot of damage. It does a lot of posture loss. So when the posture meter bolds up, it reaches full mobs get staggered. And if you hit them during the staggered time frame, it does a lot of damage. The key thing here is the ability keybind. When I press the ability keybind, I will get bloodthirsty and strength. What that does

is if bloodthirsty is active, I have life Steal, but I also have like a weathering effect. So, I take damage while the ability is active. But if I hit mobs during that ability, I lif steal a lot more health back. There's a dragon up here. We should not go to the dragon. I'm going to move down. Which means that the ability basically it doesn't punish you for being aggressive, which is good, but it will also help me heal back all the health that I lost. I should just not be overly aggressive with it. What demon

is in there? Okay. Take some string, please lose. I mean, we're going to have to collect like every single string item in this place. Okay, we'll come back to this. Now, let me go back real quick. We need to craft a backpack. So, we're collecting string because I can use string to craft up healing items down the road because bandages uses wool and string. And then with bandages, we can turn that into advanced healing items. [music] So, go level those. Grab those. Now, we can read what books we have. So, we got protection three. Good.

Okay, there we go. There's our vine rune. We need to try not to take damage to the tentacles because they hit for like half my health. But the heap of iron should be able to help with that. And we should just not get hit at all by the boss. Especially it's going to at some point shoot like green lasers at me during that phase. I should just run around and pray that I don't get hit. But okay, here we go. Pentacles. Come on, Calamaris. You don't got nothing on my boy. He's going to shoot. It's

done. It's done. Okay, we survived. Tentacles. Oh, look at that damage. But it's okay. People is the way to go, baby. Okay, let's go. Armor took a bit of a beating. Uh, there you go. Tentacle. Craft that. Okay. Do I want to make the shield? I don't think so. The broadsword is okay. Yeah. Now, we need to look at some accessories that we can craft up. I think the best ones first would be the gloves. So, we don't have a lot of Accessory slots. We only have a few ring slots and hands. The best hand

slot we can get right now is this one, which is this diamond love. It has durability, but that's okay. We definitely want this so we can bump up our max health. I could keep leveling this. I'm going to do that. Then we get a bunch of max out. Look at that. I'll be back. We got a trident. I could go get the tire trident. That's maybe not a bad idea. Okay, he dropped the quest item. Let's go. Now we can go to the first boss. There we go. Open up the summoner. We're also going to

make use of Oh my what? That is one disgustingly stacked chest. Oh no. Okay, maybe I can fight the first boss. And I mean, I have 30 diamonds. Let me just make this a diamond backpack. But like my armor is so close to breaking. What the What was that? I'm going to use this ability. Okay, this guy. So, okay. He does not like the game does not like it when you stun them. First got to kill all his goons. Heat. Heat. Oh, I'm going to have to use this. What is this effect going on? I

can't see anything, man. Oh, my armor is breaking, too. Like, what is that effect? This guy's not getting stunned even when I'm perfect bearing him. Only when he's not about to do another attack. Like I can't You know what? I'm not even going to try to perfect him the whole time. If I have to deal with that effect that is going on, it's because of the shield blocking him. He didn't do that on my previous run. Whoa. What is this? I can get more defense. Aha. Here's our next upgrade. Hunger and thirst train. 25% slower.

When wielding a one-handed weapon, you have a 10% chance to dodge incoming attacks. This could be good. Or we can get two extra hearts. Yeah, let's go over those. Let's do some extra damage. But if you now press E during this animation, you get hit, you will partial break an enemy. Like I need to taste this. I need to see if that is better over this other shield that I have. Level 12 divine spite. That does a lot of damage. Oh, wait. I got a banging idea. I got such a good idea. Yeah, let's quickly

make this thing. Whatever this does, I don't know, but we need it for our questing. Okay, our next boss is Captain Cornelia, I think. Okay, now [groaning] why can't I just sacrifice this guy normally? Okay, that's interesting. So for some Okay, maybe let maybe just restart. I don't know. My word, look at all the quests just got completed. XP, XP, XP, XP. Oh my word, look at all my levels. So I used to play Dead Souls on Xbox Game Pass like 2 years ago. I bought it just now. I played like 2 hours of Dead

Souls. It is so big. Holy, it is so good. So, if you do this life ending on this, you do a lot of Look at that. It's 1.5x for a while after you staggers again. We're doing this because we can't use regular mending unless we switch to that other class, and I'm not going to do that. I can make a full set of the nightmare armor, but like I have protection four on like most of everything here, so that's why I'm choosing not to do it. Uh, let's level. Do we do defense or strength a

little bit? I think we do strength bump our strength up. Story progression required. Complete chapter one, Ghost of Ages to Oh, I see. Oh, okay. So, now we have to go kill those. I mean, look at our health. Like, we have to go kill that boss now. [groaning] Oh, my mates. Now's not the time. [groaning] I don't know what damage these guys are doing, but let me tell you, it's not fun amount of damage. Well, I need my skeletons to actually work the way they intended to. So, I'm just going to have to relog. It's

a really annoying bug. Yeah, I hate Captain Cornelia so much it's not even funny. Oh my word. What is that about? [screaming] That guy just got decimated. Let's go check out our Nether spawn [music] and get some soul sand. We should try not to get hit at all in the Nether because they're going to be really high level. Oh my word. [snorts] Okay, we got a smithing template. That's good. I'm supposed to be in the Nether at this point, so the mobs will feel strong because I'm coming in here with like no apathic gear. That

does look like a lot of XP. Dark wave. Oh my word. Two Netherite. There's another treasure. Okay, I'm just going to keep going. [groaning] Okay, I'm making this. I know it's two-handed. It's going to be for the better. Also, I just want to see something real quick. Yeah, this B blade is not great. Oh, wait. This thing is actually really good. So, this is the drop and a spear. Like I'm definitely going to have to step up my game for these following bosses on the next chapters. Like I can't just do what I'm doing right

now because the life steal is eventually not going to keep up anymore. I could try to fight him normally. He's got 600 HP. I got to watch out for this guy. [music] [music] Push your brakes. the back. Got him. I love the posture break so much on this weapon. He dropped he dropped a spell book. Hey, let's go. And I can't use this. GG. And we also got level 10 bowl lightning. That is really good. Okay, that should be the end of chapter one if I'm not mistaken. I'm a little confused here. Obtain the death

stone. Infuse the necklace of sorrow at the lich sanctum underneath his tower. The list writing suggests that an altar found in the sanctum below to sour will repair the distilled essence of pure [music] despair. The nectar shot by the dead king must have been prepared for exactly this purpose. Yeah, we're going to go and but I did run across one if I remember correctly. I'm not so sure anymore. I'm pretty sure it's this over here, but that looks like a dragon nest from up top. All right, I added the exposed compass because uh yeah, uh

it's just going to speed things up. The exposed compass just makes the mod pack much more fun for me because I don't have to do annoying crafting recipes to get where I want to get. But if you're into exploration, then definitely do not add the expire compass. Costic iron ax of colossal strikes. Yeah, Piosis does not look that fresh in this mod pack, which is actually a good thing. I do prefer it that way. Really, in 10,000 blocks, you can't locate a lich tower. All right, I've made it to the lich tower. Sometimes I wonder

why my mini map disables, but as you can see, I myself I actually walked 10,000 blocks to this beautiful structure right here. But you might be wondering like, Z, like the day counter didn't move on. Like, how did you do that? So, I didn't I didn't think that far. I'm just trying to Yes. Yeah, I was not going to walk 10,000 blocks to the shock ship, but it's weird because I'm pretty sure there's one close to my base, but I think I'm just misremembering it and it's on my other run. Um, whoa. What is this

thing? Ice staff. Oh, nice. I mean, that's pretty cool. We got a archer hat here. This is actually really What is this? An enderman head. Wait, what? When placed over a fence, simple monsters that wander close by it will be scared and run away. Oh, is that why? Because it just Oh my word, that's actually so cool. It moves on its own. You like the knowledge free rep? Give me this. Give me this. Give me this. Wait, this place is so good. Why don't I just stay here? Bang. Okay, we want to get this chest

plate and the crystal. Grab all of this. It's free. Okay, grab this as well. Requires an underdog sub race or the legendary smith skill. Wait, wait. I can't use endgame apotheic gear because I'm an alic knight. Only an underdark sub rate or the legendary smith skill can do this. How do I get the legendary smith skill? Is it here? Okay. Knowledge of gem cutting and epic mythic reforges. Underdark subra lender skill can understand augmented. Okay. Okay. Hold on now. Yeah. So, we could go down this path if I really want to get I mean, Apotheiois

does not play that big part in this mod pack. It's just cool that certain races and [music] classes can use that before other people. So, I would say playing a dark side race then would probably be better. It would be easier in this mod pack. So, more of this. Actually, I'm going to max this out. Yep, max out my health available at level 20. I should have a bunch of max health now. I'll worry about enchanting in a moment. Oh, let's do uh I'm going to pick Yeah, 10% attack speed here sounds good. Oh my

word, look at my health. Yesterday when I was browsing through scrolls to something that could actually help me. I saw there was the section that I haven't used before in Iron Spiles. I don't think it's in base iron spells. That is this. We can use a lot of stuff here and they do pretty good damage. 20 damage. 20 damage. Like these are summons, but there's one here that I saw. I just need to find it. This will give me regen one and 15% damage reduction. Instead of oak skin, I can have like the AliExpress version

of oak skin. But the thing is I can upgrade those more by just simply upgrading it. Yep. regeneration inside of this thing and oak skin. Okay, so flames reborn is just the Phoenix old from Valerant it seems because I have very limited time and it looks like during this time I can do whatever I want and then if this timer runs out and I get teleported back to that location, it means that yeah, whatever I do in this time frame would not matter and I'm pretty much immune. Bone Bride rise again. Yeah, it's Phoenix alt.

Let's go kill that guy up there real quick. I should be able to do this with just the stuff that I already have. Yeah, I'm owning this guy. Yep, absolutely own earned. But see, he doesn't drop legendary ink. And I feel like the other guy also didn't drop it. So, I might need to go kill another dead king real quick. I made it to the shelter. Going to see if I can kill um one of these little rodents down here. Wa! Level 12 on that guy? Really? Oh, I don't think I'm supposed to be down

here. I want to go kill that thing, though. Okay, I'm going to try to do this. Let's choose one of these. Can I mana regen a little bit quicker, please? Holy. Don't push me away. It has so much HP. The loot here is not worth it. Wow, that ear was so strong. Yeah, we're going to go with this F cutter. Dude, look at that DPS already. So good. It's a two-handed weapon. Oh my word. Of course, it's a two-handed weapon. Okay. Um, I'm going to fight the sunbird now. Quickly put those fed. It says I just need a little

bit of XP before I can actually properly enchant. I was thinking of maybe making a soulfish farm bird. Just want to get behind it. Oh my word, the sunbird. That wasn't even That is like one problem with this mod pack that I have is the balancing feels it feels so off. But the mod pack does a lot of other things like the correct way. It's like some bosses are extremely difficult. Other bosses like the Sunbird just go down without any fight. Yes, I can do this. I can block a boss and then switch to a

different weapon and hit the boss. The main problem comes from there's a delay afterwards. So, it would it's almost useless to just block a boss and then switch to a bigger weapon and hitting it. It would be more effective to just stay in my shield and then hit it. That's why I was hoping this finer would be one-handed, but it it rips regardless though, so it doesn't matter that much. Yo, are you good? Holy dude, the skin walker is acting up. I've had so many people on that high tower video commenting to not do 100

days because it's boring, mundane content. I just think those people failed to realize that 100 days is the modern let's play of gaming. That's just how it is. It's not going to like take out your entire family if you don't click on the 100 days video. You can just choose to not watch it. Dude, what is going on with these guys? Please just take that drop so I can get sock touch. Sock touch or protection four. Sharpness five. Uh that would be so good on this fin cutter right now. Sharpness. Thank you. So I mean

we can use all of these. Like this will give me life steal. Then I do what I need to do. Wait, that's a free totem right there. What is he doing though? Okay, I kill them. Hold on. Going in for the totem. Cheers, buddy. All right, so at this point, I notice how unbalanced this mod pack feels towards melee characters. And my solution was to set up a sawfish farm so I can max out my skills to where the chapter limits them. In this mod pack, you cannot just straight up max yourself out. You have

to take out the chapters bosses first and then you're able to upgrade, which is a really cool system if it's done right. But in this current version of the mod pack, it was really annoying for me because I realized that I would have to lean more towards magic than melee because it's random what you can expect from a boss. Sometimes they go down in five hits. Other times they hit like a truck. So I wanted to prepare a time before fighting the next streak Of bosses. And well, let's just say past this point, my disappointment

in this mod pack grew tremendously. But I should say I know this modback is in beta and there is definitely a rebalance coming towards melee characters in the future. So just watch this perspective of me going through pain and suffering for this mod pack. Oh wow, protection three diamond diamond. I needed that. Keep leveling up one now that I have like a mini XP farm. Okay, I got 42 levels. Let's go. I'm going to reforge in a minute. Um I think let's just first go look for We also got a lot of healing vies from

that which is kind of cool. Uh let's go do Ancient City. Need to go get three of those thingies. Whoa. What is this? Holy. Look at this. Oh my word. Wait. This is so good. Whoa. Look at all these potions that I'm getting. Yeah, I got the thing. Give me that. Get me out of it. Get me out of it. Okay. Bang. Got the Excalibur. Actual decent one-handed weapon that we can use with our shield. But while we holding this, 30% of damage taken damages the item instead of the user. So, it's really good. But

we're now going to enchant it. I actually need to go get lapis now that I look at this. Um, yeah. How much does that give us? 10. This 15. And this will give me 30. I think 20. Do I go for something random? Let me break one and see if it changes. It does a little bit. And I can just keep doing this. Yep, there we go. That's a good one. Bang. Not what I wanted, actually. What do I want? I don't know. I'm going to put sharpness on this eventually. Just give me Yeah, that

is like Well, we need to go by three life menings, I think. Okay, let's go enchant this, too. I actually want to get 40 levels so I can get something good on it. I'm only able to buy two. I don't have a lot to reforge with. There it is. So, we can actually reforge quite a bit. Let's just look what we can first. The Excalibur. Give me something good. 2% life steal. Crit chance. Yeah, we're just going to go with this one because I'm not seeing much better. We get some life steal and crit chance.

Okay. And now we just use some of the gems that we got. This goes in here. Uh, we need a other bench. [music] Yeah, I'm going to put this on this weapon as well. This should actually bump up the damage quite a bit. Almost 40 DPS. Okay, this is not a bad spawn. I don't know, man. I don't know how I feel about the balancing in this mod pack. Some bosses feel too easy. Other bosses just feel like they rip you. Oh wow, I'm not doing any damage to this thing. Wow, they hit hard at

low. Like look how much these Valkyries are doing to me. And they're level six. Yeah, I just looked at the Discord. I see a lot of people complaining about how unbalanced the pack is. Someone guessing someone who worked on the pack with this guy just said it's best to stick to a magic class. It's just I'm so far deep into this ignite that it is pretty difficult to just switch to magic now. Oh, the Valkyrie is so annoying to fight. It's not even funny. Oh, my wedge is so annoying. Just die. I'm going to put

you in a combo. Dude, why does she do so much damage? And I can't go out. What? Oh my word. I'm so cuckooked. Like that is what I mean. That is actually what I mean. Like what is that? What was that fight? That was so stupid. I'm I'm fairly close to maxed out for the stage that I'm in for my class right now. I can't level this up anymore. I'm sure I could just invest everything into one thing. It's not going to do much for me. And I only get 350 XP for that. [groaning] Why

does that guy hit so hard? Hello. Oh, this is so irritating, dude. Oh, this guy is so irritating to fight in this mod pack. Why is the mini boss the actual boss and not the real boss? Like, oh my word. Oh my word. Oh my word. I'm going to crash high. Today is the day. just die. Yeah, I've came to a staggering realization that melee in this mod pack sucks. It really does. We don't even have a roll. And I know some nerd is going to comment again. Maybe you should just apply speed to your

boot. That's not going to solve the roll problem, buddy. The roll gives you immunity frame to dodge out of an attack. Melee is just not going to work in this pack. I need to make a change soon. Like I don't Know. You need to use an empty bottle on a charge creeper to obtain. So we're not getting the electromancer. Say that's not just not that's not happening. I mean, like, what is the balancing in this mod pack, dude? I don't understand it. Agility boots for 20% speed. I might need that. Oh, invincibility charm. See, how

am I able to just tank this boss like this? But the other two are like insanely I don't understand, bro. I just don't understand. That's all. Okay, it's a new day. I ended off yesterday. Yeah. Uh I think I should just do this now. So, the sunburst prophecy describes an alter hidden underneath the blade of a statue at the center of a massive floating city. Yeah, I'm probably going to have to do something about magic in this mod pack. Um because there is no dodge in here. I'm sure I mentioned this yesterday, but I just

thought more about this. I'm going to have to do like a hybrid magic melee build. I can't switch fully to magic unless I change my origin. But I feel like I'm way too deep in now to just change my origin. But I'm going to have to use magic a little bit more. I feel like a melee player in this mod pack should have access to oak skin and like a healing circle or something. I mean, especially since you don't even have a dodge in this mod pack. There's no way for me to roll. It's only

shield combat and I can only move around with speed. Yep, that is definitely a sword. Yeah, this looks great. It's just Can I It's a pretty cool area. Can only do this. [screaming] Oh, did not expect that. Okay, is that what is this? Oh, bloody alter. Okay, now we've unlocked the Nether technically. I mean, I I was already in the Nether. This intelligence gem only gives you max mana. I can't use a bow. Uh the spear that modifier I don't know if it's good. I mean I think yeah let's go with the shield. Okay. But

now we're obviously going to get better armor. So what I'm thinking is we need to decide what magic we want to use. Shadow walker. I need emeralds. So I think we're just going to go with the netherite battle mage set. Only going to get 10% power out of this. But it's fine for now. I'm going to have to fight the gauntlet. Please don't do this to me. Please don't do this to me. Giving myself a free pass. and how many times I can die fighting this boss because I hate the gauntlet. The gauntlet doesn't make

any sense. It's the most unbalanced boss in all of modern Minecraft. The thing just sucks. It sucks in all in every single way. The gauntlet is a terrible boss. Yeah, let's just go get some XP. I could go sit at the farm, but I don't want to. Oh, I got the gem that I wanted. Blocking attack heals you for five. Okay, hold on now. Hold on now. I'm going to have to make a sigil of withdrawal. And then I need a I can add a 5% life steal to this. A level four divine smite. Maybe

You go through [music] a brutal campaign with insane lore that scales with your player level. And for this video, I'll be playing as an Aldrich

Knight, which is definitely one of the more difficult classes in this pack. Otherworld is unique in several ways, such as you have no natural regen, you have a thirst and temperature buff, and the origin you pick plays a massive role in how you play. Some classes can't make use of certain enchantments or even magic spells, so pick wisely. Oh my word. Oh my word. And do remember to smash that like button and enjoy my pain and suffering. Okay, so starting out, we need to choose our race. This whole menu is really important. So, we're going

to stay here for a while, but bear with me. What we pick here is extremely important because the whole mod pack kind of limits you towards your race. Like, it's not just, hey, pick this origin, you're going to get this and this and this. No, this is like, pick this origin, but keep in mind, you're not going to have access to this. you're not going to have access to that. We're not going to be any of these fancy ones. I mean, they're good, but the human variant is the best one here. I think this mod

pack is good if you play with magic, but this mod pack is really difficult if you play with melee, and I'll explain why. So, we're going to be a human with a variant. Then, we can choose our first two ability scores. So, this is like RLCraft's leveling menu. If you don't know what that is, you have a bunch of different stuff that you can level in RLCraft, like your health, how much damage you do. So, this is Basically that we can choose what we want to pick to start out with. I'm going to go here

with plus two constitution. This will give me some extra health. Honestly, anything that I pick here like I can pick between magic, defense, intelligence, and strength. I'm going to go with let's go with strength for now. Or actually, we're going to do intelligence. Now, this is an important menu. We could choose our first free feat. This menu only pops up when you level up a certain amount of times in game. So getting to this menu in the first place takes around 10 days as that's what it took on my previous run at least. What I'm

going to do though is we're going to go with the elemental adapt which is we're going to get immunity to temperature effects. Temperature in this mod pack is not a big deal. Like I don't remember it ever bothering me. Like I didn't even notice it exists. But this is going to help for when we go to the Nether and I don't have to worry about getting a bunch of stuff to help with my temperature. This is just one less thing that we need to worry about in our playthrough. And then we're going to be the

object knight because then we get access to offensive spells. We we are not going to be able to heal ourselves or fortify or oak skin. One cantrip. This is like a free spell that is built into your class. I'll show you now. For this mod pack, I wouldn't actually recommend you do what I'm doing. If you're going to be playing this mod pack, just straight up pick one class that is really good. So like don't pick one that is mixy matchy. Just pick either straight magic or melee. I'm doing this mixy matchy one because it's

cool for the video. Um honestly the best one here is chain lightning. Oh, that was a lot of yapping to get started with this mod pack. But I'm Liz, an Alrech Knight fighter with human heritage. You are known as an elemental adept. You can instantly cast the ability chain lightning. You have plus two to constitution and intelligence. Confirm. Let's quickly go in here. Feel free to read what this quest book says if you want to pause and read it. But the biggest thing in this mod pack is there is no natural regen. I think of

this mod pack as like a modern RL craft, just not as difficult. You can only regen through healing items like bandages, healing vials, and life steal. Okay, so you see there I just took a whole heart of damage by walking into berry bushes. So for us, our main objective in this mod pack right now to just survive the early game is to get to a weapon called the heap of raw iron as soon as possible. Apotheiois is in here, but from what I could tell, it's heavily nerfed. Give me this bed, and then I can

claim some more healing items. He hits that, bro. Okay, now we have to use a bandage. Wow. Yeah. After this video, I'm going to go back to it because I think it should have a lot more updates by the time I'm back with it. And I'm going to do a really fun challenge run. Holy good shovel. High modded is not there yet because I don't think they can do anything with bosses just yet. I have a few. I looked yesterday and I was like, I wonder why there aren't any high tower boss mods. And I

think it's because the engine that they're working on basically disables that whole portion of making bosses, if that makes sense. They're gonna have to do it all from scratch. I don't think they want to do that. Oh, right. Yeah. Someone someone commented on my previous video and they were like, um, you don't need to activate cheats to show the seed. So, my bad. From now on on every single video, I'll just flash the seed on screen. I can't go take down a dragon that is level I mean, I can I can go take down a

dragon that is level 15. And our best armor that we can find in the overworld is going to be diamond for a while. Luckily, this bowling does have a lot of that. Ooh, protection 4. I actually use that. Yeah, this blue tower is the ultimate cheese. Dude, I love this. This structure has to be my favorite structure in all of modern Minecraft. So, we want to go to dead cells and kill conjunct dividers or whatever that eyeballs name is, which means she falls between these two chapters. Okay, he has a lot of health. Holy. Our

first main boss besides conjunctivis is a knight that we need to go fight. We're going to have to parry him a lot. Beep of raw iron will allow us to play a little bit more reckless though. So yeah, he is actually like this guy is kind of classified as a boss because he drops a quest item. Uh we got flames reborn. Wait, what is this? Flames Reborn for 200 mana. We won't be able to use Angel Wings because that's not an offensive scroll. I mean, let's see. Angel. Yeah, we can only cast that using a

scroll. So, we're not allowed to use that. Unlucky. You see, the other thing we can do is we can also get Regeneration from the Nightmare Scythe from Born and Chaos. We could also rock the full Nightmare Armor set, which will buff that weapon tremendously. Then, if you're the first to make a good it boss mod, you're going to be eating good. Let me level this one more time. I can get some extra health, which is great. I'm going to take this dead cells portal with me. Oh, dude. I need to go play Dead S again.

I need to go in here, go to intelligence, and level this until I can get the squad skill, which is only one more level. Oh, how do I get a build like this guy? I love my Hory, and my horsey loves me. Yeah, it's a quick horseshy. Okay, we're going to be able to make the heap of raw iron in a moment. Let's go. What do you mean? That's my bed. Oh, you can be so glad my sword didn't swing there. You can be so glad. So, here's what the heap of raw iron does. It

of course does a lot of damage. It does a lot of posture loss. So when the posture meter bolds up, it reaches full mobs get staggered. And if you hit them during the staggered time frame, it does a lot of damage. The key thing here is the ability keybind. When I press the ability keybind, I will get bloodthirsty and strength. What that does is if bloodthirsty is active, I have life Steal, but I also have like a weathering effect. So, I take damage while the ability is active. But if I hit mobs during that ability,

I lif steal a lot more health back. There's a dragon up here. We should not go to the dragon. I'm going to move down. Which means that the ability basically it doesn't punish you for being aggressive, which is good, but it will also help me heal back all the health that I lost. I should just not be overly aggressive with it. What demon is in there? Okay. Take some string, please lose. I mean, we're going to have to collect like every single string item in this place. Okay, we'll come back to this. Now, let me

go back real quick. We need to craft a backpack. So, we're collecting string because I can use string to craft up healing items down the road because bandages uses wool and string. And then with bandages, we can turn that into advanced healing items. [music] So, go level those. Grab those. Now, we can read what books we have. So, we got protection three. Good. Okay, there we go. There's our vine rune. We need to try not to take damage to the tentacles because they hit for like half my health. But the heap of iron should be

able to help with that. And we should just not get hit at all by the boss. Especially it's going to at some point shoot like green lasers at me during that phase. I should just run around and pray that I don't get hit. But okay, here we go. Pentacles. Come on, Calamaris. You don't got nothing on my boy. He's going to shoot. It's done. It's done. a diamond backpack. But like my armor is so close to breaking. What the What was that? I'm going to use this ability. Okay, this guy. So, okay. He does not like the game does not like it when you stun them. First got to kill all his goons. Heat. Heat. Oh, I'm going to have to use this. What is this effect going on? I can't see anything, man. Oh, my armor is breaking, too. Like, what is that effect? This guy's not getting stunned even when I'm perfect bearing him. Only when he's not about to do another

attack. Like I can't You know what? I'm not even going to try to perfect him the whole time. If I have to deal with that effect that is going on, it's because of the shield blocking him. He didn't do that on my previous run. Whoa. What is this? I can get more defense. Aha. Here's our next upgrade. Hunger and thirst train. 25% slower. When wielding a one-handed weapon, you have a 10% chance to dodge incoming attacks. This could be good. Or we can get two extra hearts. Yeah, let's go over those. Let's do some extra

I just need to find it. This will give me regen one and 15% damage reduction. Instead of oak skin, I can have like the AliExpress version of oak skin. But the thing is I can upgrade those more by just simply upgrading it. Yep. regeneration inside of this thing and oak skin. Okay, so flames reborn is just the Phoenix

old from Valerant it seems because I have very limited time and it looks like during this time I can do whatever I want and then if this timer runs out and I get teleported back to that location, it means that yeah, whatever I do in this time frame would not matter and I'm pretty much immune. is like one problem with this mod pack that I have is the balancing feels it feels so off. But the mod pack does a lot of other things like the correct way. It's like some bosses are extremely difficult. Other bosses like the Sunbird just go down without any fight. Yes, I can do this. I can block a boss and then switch to a different weapon and hit the boss. The main problem comes from there's a delay afterwards. So, it would it's almost useless to just block a boss and then switch to a bigger weapon and

hitting it. It would be more effective to just stay in my shield and then hit it. That's why I was hoping this finer would be one-handed, but it it rips regardless though, so it doesn't matter that much. Yo, are you good? Holy dude, the skin walker is acting up. I've had so many people on that high tower video commenting to not do 100 days because it's boring, mundane content. I just think those people failed to realize that 100 days is the modern let's play of gaming. That's just how it is. It's not going to like

take out your entire family if you don't click on the 100 days video. You can just choose to not watch it. Dude, what is going on with these guys? Please just take that drop so I can get sock touch. And my solution was to set up a sawfish farm so I can max out my skills to where the chapter limits them. In this mod pack, you cannot just straight up max yourself out. You have to take out the chapters bosses first and then you're able to upgrade, which is a really cool system if it's done right. But in this current version of the mod pack, it was

really annoying for me because I realized that I would have to lean more towards magic than melee because it's random what you can expect from a boss. Sometimes they go down in five hits. Other times they hit like a truck. So I wanted to prepare a time before fighting the next streak Of bosses. And well, let's just say past this point, my disappointment in this mod pack grew tremendously. But I should say I know this modback is in beta and there is definitely a rebalance coming towards melee characters in the future. So just watch this

perspective of me going through pain and suffering for this mod pack. Oh wow, protection three diamond diamond. I needed that. Keep leveling up one now that I have like a mini XP farm. Okay, I got 42 levels. Let's go. I'm going to reforge in a minute. Um I think let's just first go look for We also got a lot of healing vies from that which is kind of cool. Some bosses feel too easy. Other bosses just feel like they rip you. Oh wow, I'm not doing any damage to this thing. Wow, they hit hard at low. Like look how much these Valkyries are doing to me. And they're level six. Yeah, I just looked at the Discord. I see a lot of people complaining about how unbalanced the pack

is. Someone guessing someone who worked on the pack with this guy just said it's best to stick to a magic class. It's just I'm so far deep into this ignite that it is pretty difficult to just switch to magic now. Oh, the Valkyrie is so annoying to fight. It's not even funny. Oh, my wedge is so annoying. Just die. I'm going to put you in a combo. Dude, why does she do so much damage? And I can't go out. What? Oh my word. I'm so cuckooked. Like that is what I mean. That is actually what

deep in now to just change my origin. But I'm going to have to use magic a little bit more. I feel like a melee player in this mod pack should have access to oak skin and like a healing circle or something. I mean, especially since you don't even have a dodge in this mod pack. There's no way for me to roll. It's only shield combat and I can only move around with speed. Yep, that is definitely a sword. Yeah, this looks great. It's just Can I It's a pretty cool area.
