most people think they know St Martin from those viral videos of Maho Beach you know the ones where the Jets sweep so low over the sand you can count the rivets on their landing gear you can smell the jet fuel here but what if I told you that's just the beginning that its most unforgettable beaches have secrets waiting to be uncovered if you know where to go I'm on a mission to find the ultimate Beach Paris Parise hidden Coes that feel like they're straight out of a movie that is beautiful oh we got some nudies
got to love some nudes underwater sculptures that'll make you question reality you see that sunken helicopters submarines and water so pristine they'll make your Instagram followers lose their minds today I'm exploring every inch of the islands Coastline revealing beaches you've never heard of experiencing moments you won't believe and chasing the ultimate question where is the perfect beach in St Martin welcome to St Martin where two Nations share one tiny slice of Caribbean Paradise the French claim the north the Dutch rule the South and we're about to uncover every Hidden Gem on the Dutch side our
first stop coup Koy Bay a place where golden Limestone Cliffs carve out secluded little Coes t made for privacy and clothing well it's optional got some nudies gotta loves nudes just follow the unmarked path to the first Beach down a Stairway to a Mediterranean dream a malfy coast Vibes with a Caribbean twist this is like a dream right here there's only two rules here claim your Cove and swim in your birthday suit me I'm only keeping mine on for you guys Beach number one Grey freaking beautiful on the scale of beauty my God the water
clear the waves crashing the caves the coast can I lay down and get a tan can I go snorkel can I just swim eh today not so much so as of right now we're starting off strong but we still haven't found the perfect Beach time to switch gears completely welcome to Maho Beach where the planes fly so low you'll swear you could high-five the pilots this isn't just a beach it's the world's most exciting airpoint viewy party so all the planes come from right over there between those boats once every 10 minutes some of them
are massive like 747s and most of them are kind of Private Island to Island Jets here's one coming right now St Martens Airport runway is unusually short just about 7500 ft which means Pilots start their descent right over our heads it's a pretty interesting Beach like no one's really relaxing it's all Spectators Beach everyone just waiting for the next plane to come I've never seen a beach like this in my life what I'm learning about the beaches here is that each one tells its own story some thrill you others calm you and some make you
feel like you've stumbled onto another planet that's exactly how I feel submerged underwater amongst these sculptures in Little Bay are very next stop you see that beneath the waves over 300 sculptures lie like Whispers from the past telling the story of St Martin without a single word spoken faces of those who built this island now watch the sea shift around them their legacy carried by fish and saltwater currents it's more than art it's a tribute to the Island's first people and the raw electric pulse of Carnival where history and celebration Collide and because St Martin
doesn't do anything half ass there's even a sunken helicopter and submarine down here but here's where things get interesting out of nowhere a cute little fish starts circling my wife she thinks it's friendly because of course she does and holds out her hand plot twist she gets bit by a trigger fish our Captain's jaw drop said he'd never even seen one around here let alone one with that kind of attitude props to the aquamania crew for putting this all together if you're planning this adventure they're the ones to call is he making fun of me
again yeah he's saying the suer fish bite your ass and then there's the beach itself a whole Resort a couple Resort that's why the beach is so quiet and so relaxed so far this beach is my favorite of the day but the search isn't over yet cuz we've just arrived in Simpson Bay this is where we were going to live on top of greenhouse I almost booked a villa right on this block and at first glance I was glad I didn't because finding parking here isn't easy come on come on I got a VIP spot
for you a friendly local and suddenly you're set up with the best spot on the beach that's St Martin for you all right we're at buck a beach bar which is I've been hearing from the locals and from the tourists is supposed to be a really popular you know just a good spot to eat some food and grab some drinks on this beautiful beach at Simpson Bay Simpson Bay is the beach you picture when you think of the Caribbean postcard perfect views restaurants on the sand and a laidback vibe that feels effortless it's amazing out
here and the best part all the beaches on the island are public by law think about that in a world of private Resorts and exclusive clubs St Mar 10 said heck no Paradise belongs to everyone this water is just absolutely amazing wow and look at that view that Co that's one of the things I love about this island it's green and Beach you got the hills you got the mountains you got the greenery and you got the beautiful White Sands and the Crystal Blue Waters if Simpson Bay is where the tourists go to unwine Mullet
Bay is where the locals go to recharge we're at a spot called The Water Hole where the first thing you see is a sign warning you to watch out for sea turtle nest it's a pattern I'm seeing everywhere clean beaches cared for by people who use them thank you brother appreciate it look how white this is this is like snow M oh man this is actually really good it's not too sweet I mean sometimes a beach becomes popular for a reason and mullet Bay it's earned every bit of its reputation I'm becoming a beach expert
very quickly classic nice White Sands beautiful little Coastal area little Cliff jump in the water here is perfect clear refreshing and easy to love but I'm not ready to call it just yet next we're going to head down to Philipsburg where Great Bay Beach runs alongside the city here the energy shifts it's not about quiet seclusion it's about life moving at full speed so we're basically in the capital of St Martin there's a beach right in downtown called Great Bay this place is happening right now there's stores everywhere there's people everywhere people are eating drinking
stop into any Beach Front Restaurant and you'll find incredible views and front row seats of the chaos of the boardwalk like you're right on the water this is packed to the brim tooe but even here the water remains pristine consensus here is that if you want some good you know simple bit some great drinks and a really crowded Beach this is probably for you like I don't know if you're looking for like a relax type situation probably not if you're looking to party heck yeah and when it's time to leave the crowds behind Indigo Bay
Beach offers something entirely different this is the beach that left me speechless this is really nice I don't know if it was the glow of the sunset or the fact that we're here on a date night but this place it's different my God this is like a painting holy the way the Sun hits the water and the glow in the air and that sound of the ocean we loved it so much we came back the very next day with our daughter with its quiet semi private Shores and Charming beachfront Cafe it became our Sanctuary on
the island our beach the one we keep coming back to this is like literally the best beach we've been to I think my God it's perfectly relaxed the waves aren't too much there's hardly anybody on the beach and there's a restaurant with Margaritas turns out you don't have to just spend a couple hours here you can actually rent a villa right on this Bay through sea La sxm yeah that name got me too sea like the ocean life like the one you're going to want to live here wake up walk 20 steps and you're barefoot
in Paradise but you know what I'm sitting here ranting about this one spot when the truth about finding the perfect beach in St Martin isn't just about one place it's the Limestone caves of ccoy the underwater galleries of Little Bay plain spotting chaos of Maho and the family style welcomes of Simpson Bay it's the connection between the ocean the land and the people who share it so next time someone shows you that plane landing video and says that they know St Martin just smile because now you know that's just the beginning of the story
