I I can't Who is bringing it up in that Bill Maher brought on a couple of woke idiots onto his show real time with Bill Maher and really put them in his place when it comes to the topic of him sitting down with Donald Trump for dinner.
And obviously, you know, he stuns the entire panel, the entire woke panel because of how hard he goes up against this woke narrative that people shouldn't be interacting with Donald Trump, that he shouldn't have sat down, that he apparently apologized to Donald Trump for things that he said. And Bill Maher puts this woke panel in their place, leaving the live audience here stunned. We're not going to regulate. They have so much money. You you don't you know how much money they have right about to become a trillionaire and it's absolutely gonna happen and the reason with that much money and that much influence they can't even pass a basic privacy bill you I've been screaming about it for 20 years they get mowed down by lobbyists and packs and everything else and now there's a new AI pack that they're funding all all of these same people are funding the AI pack they're funding um only be outdone by the crypto pack crypto pack which got rid of I mean they can buy anything and that's but you know Elon pretty much well not anymore but right okay well been a little but he knows you little Elon I know Elon [clears throat] those quotes I read from him they're from a few years ago at least it seems like he was the guy because I do remember when he first said that statement and it was the first time I'd ever you see like by the way how just disgusting that virtue signaling is wherever Bill Maher asked this lady I believe her name is Cara Swisser Bill Maher asked this lady if she knows Elon Musk and she knows Elon Musk, right?
You know, obviously Bill Mah wouldn't have said it for no reason. And she said yes initially and then she she realized, hold on, wait, this is going to like cause a ding on my woke status, right? That's going to ding my woke credit score.
I have to let people know that I don't support Elon. I don't I don't know him anymore. Whatever that means.
Like it's just like such gross virtue signaling all the time from these people. I don't know how they live like this. I don't know how it doesn't just get extremely exhausting.
I could never live my life just constantly virtue signaling like that. But, you know, that's just how how these people live. And Bill Moore has gotten really good at calling these people out.
Let's see what else Bill More has to say about this Elon Musk and Donald Trump situation here. Never really heard anybody say anything like that. Well, he said it to me at at an interview that we did, right?
But it was a while ago, over 10 years ago, and I was like, "Oh, this has not been on my radar. " Okay, Elon says it. Maybe it is a thing.
Uh, but lately, I don't hear that from him. of course you don't because he wants to be part of the the rush of winning and one of the thing when he said that and he said it at a conference because that's when he started open AI with Sam Alman and with others because they were scared of the power of the Googles and the Facebooks and the Apples and it was to to to protect people and create guard rails and instead it's so much money they have to go for it I think and now it's a it's a dick measuring. So Cara is there any answer to this then?
I mean because you've I think you've sketched out this money motive is massive but we've got to be able to do something you know I think people because people are sick of this like the suicides I've interviewed all those parents who whose kids have died and these people are still trying to skate out of culpability like as if it's not accountability legal lawsuits and someday a per walk I'm sorry [clears throat] it has to happen one thing is one first I actually think it's one place that actually and Trump when they meet in about a month actually can agree on something because both of them are scared of this right not fully knowledge. The second thing you think Trump is scared of it? No, I don't think Trump is but he's desperate for a deal anything with Xi.
So he looks good. Desperate and I think this could be the one place. Second, I would just say you had two trials slightly off sides.
I mean off to the side which is on the social media and kids. They all went to jury and the jury took like 10 seconds boom slapped them down. That tells you how angry and anxious people are.
It's separate issue than AI. But these [clears throat] media mogul/technology mogul do not understand the loathing people have for the way they are. AI is almost as unpopular as the Democratic party right now.
The party [applause] loss is going to be like they're buying everything whether it's Apple, it's not just Larry Ellison, they're all buying the media properties. See, I don't think it's on Trump's radar. I I can't think of anybody in that administration and this is why I I fight back so very people say you shouldn't have had dinner with Trump I should have dinner with him again because I'd bring this up in two seconds and he would listen I I can't who is bringing it up in that now the person who's yeah you know everybody's talking about like aliens and things like that and I think it is just one big distraction from something what that something is I don't know but it's definitely distracting people from this AI conversation you know I'm I'm very much in the business of using AI to grow YouTube channels and things like that.
This this channel is not AI before you even ask. But this channel is not AI. This is me.
But I am, you know, that that is my business where I I grow a I grow YouTube channels using AI and I teach other people how to do it. And so I see how rapidly this AI stuff is just advancing. Every single day there's a new update from Claude AI that's just like mindblowing and it gets hundreds of millions of views on social media and everybody's talking about it.
But what people aren't really thinking about anymore is that eventually these things probably will overtake humanity, you know, and it's it's like Elon Musk and and people who have been experts on this AI stuff and been very close to it for a long time have been saying this forever that eventually AI is going to take over and it's probably going to just deem humans to be like a nuisance to the planet and and to whatever jobs they have to accomplish. And what are they going to do whenever they deem that the case? to either enslave us or just kill us off or whatever the case is.
And it's crazy because it just seems like even though we know that's the case and we can kind of all come to the conclusion that yeah, you know, we probably will be either enslaved or killed off because we are just kind of hindering AI's progress once it doesn't need us anymore. We continue to advance this stuff in that direction. It's the weirdest thing ever.
It's almost as if we're put on this earth to be like somewhat of a cocoon and like to be the, you know, we're just trying to advance to the next species basically. Like that's the the next evolution of mankind is artificial intelligence and like we're just put here with the purpose of creating that. It's it's so strange because we know that it's going to end in catastrophe, right?
like is a it's a very we don't know that but it's a very strong possibility that it's going to end in catastrophe and everybody can agree on that and yet we still keep moving in that direction. It it's kind of crazy. I don't think Donald Trump and those people are worried about it at all though.
Like I I I don't think that that's a worry for them. I think they have a lot of things that are very very pressing right now or at least things that they deem to be more pressing right now than the AI conversation. But I would like people like Bill Maher to go and and talk with Donald Trump.
I think if Bill Mr Donald Trump have a conversation about that, I think it'd be massively beneficial or Bill M and whoever the president is, you know, needs to be told and and warned of what's happening with AI because it's rapidly advancing the government. Uh, has the media overstated the rise of authoritarians in Europe and around the world? What do you think of Victor Orban's defeat last week?
I I did have that exact thought. Like again, the media kind of played me. I mean, for years, all I've been reading about is he's a second coming of Stalin.
there will never be democracy again in Hungary. And then, oh, actually, well, people got tired of a guy just like they do in every democracy. They didn't like him and they wanted somebody with different policies and they voted him out and he went and conceded the next day.
So, I do feel a little used. Well, I'll say one thing about this. This guy will hurt.
This guy uh did everything he could to tilt the playing field in his favor. And yet when you add up all the harms that he did to Hungary and this new movement that came in that you would like because it said and it's it's the same thing over and over again with these media outlets, man. Like Bill Maher is spot on here and Bill Mars is becoming more and more based as time goes on.
But he's spot on with this. You know, the media just straight up lies repeatedly. The same thing with Donald Trump, right?
They're still doing it every single day. And look, you know, I'm not some like Trump meat rider or anything like that, but the guy has lied about literally all day every day on social media. And there's not really any getting around that.
You know, they call him literally Hitler. They call him a threat to democracy. They call him a convicted felon.
It's like all these things are just lies. And they continue to pedal him. It's crazy.
But Bill Maher's correct. And if you just look at, you know, like recently there's been scientists that are disappearing, you know, related to nuclear research and UFOs and stuff like that. And like the media outlets are just straight up lying.
They're like 11th scientist found dead or missing or whatever. And it's like story from 2022. Like what do you mean 11th scientist found like they're they're framing it as if it's a breaking news story because they know what's hot right now.
They know what's getting clicks and it's these these scientists going missing. And then they have headlines like 11th scientist goes missing and it's a story from 2022. It's all just dishonest.
They're all completely dishonest. They're all just after clicks. There is no real journalism anymore when it comes to these mainstream outlets.
And there's very, you know, very very few real journalists in independent media either because the game is getting clicks, right? And what gets clicks more than anything is outrage and hyperbole and lies. to ju just being real with you.
