Lynn University's fall Athletics have been in full swing including women's volleyball the winning team is currently ranked number one in the Sunshine State conference and has maintained their winning streak following their recent victory over Barry University the team marked this accomplishment with a Halloween practice dressing up in costumes and engaging in competitive games reporter Ashley Martinez was there my name is Ashley Martinez and I'm here at the dorley sports and Cultural Center interviewing the volleyball girls after their big win against be University they hold a record of 19 and one 19 wins and only one
loss and is number one in the Sunshine State conference I'm here to ask them about how they plan to go about the rest of their season and maintaining this impressive record so my name is Lilia Neil and I'm a vector from Despicable Me and um what is your thoughts on yesterday's game um obviously you guys had great energy so what was your idea of yesterday's game um I was really proud with the energy both on and off the court I think that the bench really helped support what was on the court with just the fun
cheers and I think we fed off of what the crowd gave us so it was really good for our team we really just focus on like focusing on our side pretty much no matter what team's on the other side we always think about our game plan and what we need to do no matter who we're playing against um yesterday's game I thought was really good it was we knew it was going to be a hard fought game we knew they were really good we swept them the first time so we knew that they were going
to come out really hard swinging hard um but we responded very well um yeah we knew they were going to get their points but we just were cleaner than them at the end of the day obviously you guys have such a great record you're number one in sunshine state conference how do you uh plan to hold that and going forward in your season like what do you what are your goals yeah well right now to be honest we really don't even look at the record a lot we're taking it game by game and um obviously
the was always to make it to the NCAA tournament and each year that I've been here since I'm a senior now and freshman year since then we made it one step further every time so that's cool what's special about this team I would say the connection we have between each other is amazing like last year was too but like this year I can feel like more close like everybody's like on you always like um I think the main thing that's different is the respect we have for each other um other than love like we respect
each other so much on and off the court and we hold each other to higher standards so I think that's what's going to push us to win conference this year you guys made it um to the Sweet 16 last year do you think you guys can do it further this year oh yeah I think we definitely have the potential to go all the way but um then again game by day yeah and do you think you guys can take it all the way I know you guys went to the Sweet 16 last year so what
