Australia’s WORST paedophile - Peter Scully

reasons i have been involved in child safeguarding since the beginning of my career and whilst a lot of people have seen me in the last decade and a half presenting Crime shows or being an expert on tv shows the truth is my bread and butter was always in therapeutic intervention it was the way i cut my teeth career-wise and it's also where my passion lies so safeguarding and training people in child protection was a big part of my work and because of that i've always had interaction and engagement with people who've been sexually abused people

who've involved Sexual exploitation and been trafficked and a whole heap of areas of this world that a few of us don't ever want to even consider exist and many of us struggle to face but for me the only way i think that we as a society grow and change and decide what is so inappropriate that we will do anything to fight to change the systems that allow it to play out if we don't do that then we don't change it and so today's Case is very much going to be looking at a case that involves

a pedophile who genuinely is known as one of the worst in the world he's called peter scully i don't usually do disclaimers at the beginning of my videos and it's not a disrespect thing i appreciate that some people probably do do disclaimers for me personally if you're watching crime videos you are going to come across things that are distasteful or deeply traumatizing at times involve horror Terror abuse rape and all things in between so i almost think that if you're watching a true crime video you know that the content is going to be pretty difficult

and i don't want to patronize you by letting you know that you might not have the wherewithal to stand it because you're here for a reason certainly though today i'm going to just say it because of the fact that some of you will have been sexually abused some of you will have family members who have Been and genuinely this is a really challenging story to tell that said if you are willing to stay with me as i explore this one i think it will educate two i think it will give you a better understanding of

why and how child pornography and child abuse is supported in the wider world around us and of course a little bit about how we are fighting that in our society and the Internet has created so many amazing opportunities let's be honest i'm sat here right now because of it and it's an amazing democratic platform for people to be able to express themselves but wither has come a very dark shade i also have worked in computer app development and realistically that has brought me into a world of understanding about how extensive the web is and the

dark web and what's some known as the deep dark Web and today i'm also going to focus a little bit about that so stay with me if you can genuinely it is hard to hear it should be but we shouldn't necessarily wish to turn away from the realities of what's going on in our very neighborhoods in our local areas and certainly overseas in places where so many of us might go on holidays and yet right Beneath our noses some of the most prolific child abuse is playing out i think the more we know about this

the more that we refuse to be silent about this because of fear of offending the more that we talk about this openly the more likely we are to bring people like peter scully to justice and boy do people like peter scully need to be brought to justice and he is not a lone wolf so be aware of That he was australian he was born on the 13th of january 1963 and he lived in melbourne beautiful area he lived at that time that i'm talking about with his wife and two children so arguably in this moment

in time he was playing being an ordinary normal typical man with kids but his neighbors who knew him said that From the get-go of getting to know him he was just a really dodgy character and that from day one no matter who connected with him there was an undercurrent that they saw that connected the reality that he wanted to have an interest only in money that was his main motivation when scully has been interviewed though we should not give him the light of day but nonetheless when he's been Interviewed he has suggested that he was

sexually abused by a priest as a child it is never my job to cast doubt on somebody's abuse story in fact i am from the school of if a child or a young person or an adult talks about sexual orientation you believe them because it's really imperative that that individual feels heard and valued and not rejected and that you don't add to the shame that they feel by not accepting their story i don't think i Believe peter scully i think you know he's lying when his lips are moving and i think probably what he did

was decide that it was going to be more palatable for society around him to believe that the reason that he was a child molester and murderer was because he himself had been abused and the reason that i doubt that is firstly that doesn't make anybody feel sorry for you there is not one person at Home that goes oh well he's a child molester and murderer because he got sexually abused himself said no one ever people will say okay you were unfortunate enough to get horribly abused but at some point instead of rejecting that you actually

started to enjoy that so i guess you could say you know genetics play a part in this social experience plays a part in this obviously having opportunity plays a Part in this but you know if you think about 100 people then it's potential that one of those hundred people may have a predisposition to like child pornography and child molestation then they get molested and it's not something that they reject so we could argue that but for the vast majority of people and in fact the very very vast majority of people who are sexually molested as

children they don't just reject the fact that child abuse is reprehensible they Actively spend their lives letting people know about just how reprehensible it is and how it's impacted on them so they are less likely to go out and abuse anyone because they know how awful it was for themselves that noted i know that people will give the statistic okay well when we look at the histories of child molesters it turns out that a lot of them have been molested themselves yeah i get that but it's a tiny percentage and arguably they could have All

turned out to be child molesters anyway you know it's statistical anyway this guy uses this potentially as a ruse to make people go oh that makes sense as to why he turned into the person that he did it doesn't but remember this guy is a horrible liar so i think that we see in that suggestion that there is a manipulation level that noted it could be that he had Been abused by somebody but nonetheless doesn't justify anything doesn't justify any of his later heinous actions because i hate the idea that he even brings in the

fact that he was a victim potentially because actually it's irrelevant in this tale that i'm going to tell you he is most definitely the perpetrator the organizer the instigator he actually left his family around 2005 and at this point he moves to victoria At which point he brings his girlfriend from malaysia to australia i appreciate guys some people do internet shop their girlfriends get married and have good lives together it will happen but i also think there is a portion of men who shall we say shop for women online from countries like malaysia and thailand

because they want certain attributes in their partner Certainly age seems to play a part in it i regularly see stories of 78 year old men with 19 year old girls from these countries and let's not pretend they've met over common interests it's not true also i've watched a lot of interviews on men who marry girlfriends from those areas with those big distinct age groups and usually they tell the same story they really like the fact that the women are relatively submissive and they are Also caretakers so these young girls who grow up are excellent housekeepers

excellent cooks and actually really do take care of their partners even those with a 50-year age group one imagines that's massively alluring i imagine some women at home are thinking well it would be a bit weird having a physical relationship with a 25 year old guy when i was 70 but it would be cool if he tidied my home and made me nice meals so i guess that there is a market for This kind of relationship but they're the ones that potentially aren't bad for the girls even though i think personally those kind of age

gaps are really a little bit odd but for those who maybe have a different interest such as peter scully i think it puts these women at terrible risk he brings back this malaysian girlfriend called ling many many years younger than him he Would have been in his 40s at the time so the power dynamic is huge he's obviously going to have the financial security because it's his money she's going to be in a country that she knows no one and she's probably going to be hoping ultimately for the western dream a place where she doesn't

have to struggle and where she's looked after in return for looking after him but peter scully doesn't have plans for her to just be the good wife the caretaker no He instantly sets up an online escort agency now bear in mind in australia at this point in time you need to have a license to actually operate that kind of an outfit and he doesn't have one and what he basically does is he pimps this poor teenager out as an escort he gets her to participate in sex parties he rents her out by the hour And

there was actually a website that was developed dedicated to her inverted commas services that website even included a forum where clients could discuss their experiences with her and one customer wrote well apparently anything goes for this girl for the right price that in itself should make your hackles go up because anything probably did go because she Didn't have a choice essentially you can call her a girlfriend but this is a woman who's been sex trafficked it's as simple as that now following an australian securities and investment commission investigation that started in 2009 turned out that

scully was facing lots of fraud charges so 117 fraud and deception offences charges which were relating to a property scheme scam he'd Been involved in it cost 20 investors almost 3 million dollars and he'd also been involved in another real estate scam prior to this because it seems like he wanted to always create opportunities for getting money and he didn't really care how he got that so being a con artist was not a problem for him and that's quite bodacious isn't it the fact that he managed to get millions of dollars off investors for the

second time by the Way because obviously we've just heard he was involved in scams before it's really hard i have raised investment and wow it's cripplingly difficult and certainly i haven't got the charge to just get people to give me lots of money anybody who's been involved in entrepreneurship knows that it's hard to get people to part with their cash particularly investors who tend to be very very diligent about knowing where to place their cash but He's got that manipulation about him obviously he was able to charm these individuals he must have sounded like he

knew what he was doing and no doubt promised the earth but we're seeing this personality there's a real narcissism to him there's a machiavellian side to him without a doubt and i think we're starting to see the psychopathy aren't we the fact that he's absolutely willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his financial needs When he was tried for that he was basically told that if he was found liable he would have to repay the money and the truth is all he decided to do was say that if he did get found liable he

would declare himself bankrupt because that was a way to get out of it anyway in spite of the fact that he's going to be standing and facing all of these charges he decides that he's going to just do it a different way so he flees To manila now this is the capital of the philippines that's in 2011 so it's before he actually gets formally charged understandably instantly they're like um doesn't work that way peter scully even though you've fled to manila we're gonna put out a warrant for your arrest and that's exactly what they do

they put out a warrant for his arrest however that arrest is obviously only liable for australia so he decides well i've got a resolution For that i'll just stay in the philippines but this doesn't change any of his behavior so he doesn't think to himself well i've got this horrible scenario back in australia where if i ever return to where i come from i'm gonna get arrested instead he quite happily just gets on with his life and i want you to think where he is now the philippines is not a place Where it is difficult

to get involved in shall we say some very dark activities where children are concerned and it seems like being there it allures him into a whole further set of opportunities to make money and make big money just at the cost of many many children's lives and it seems that he got into something much darker than what he'd already been Involved in very quickly so he moves from being this financial fraudster a con man into this murky disgusting world of the dark web and the production of child pornography and this is of course aided by the

fact that the philippines is one of the top 10 the top 10 producers of child pornography in the world and if you think about the fact that in the uk The statistic is that one in 20 young people will be sexually molested by the time they're 16 and bear in mind that's those who are physically molested by somebody bring it down to one in six when it comes down to people who are virtually molested such as having indecent pictures taken and sent off them and so on and so forth because they've you know exchanged pictures

with people they thought they could trust and then it turns out that individuals are Predator so there are lots of ways that children are abused in the western world but imagine the fact that that statistic is terrifying enough philippines hands down is beating any of those statistics and that's like i said one of the top 10 producers of child pornography and it's also the largest known source of online sexual exploitation cases in the world in the world Now we all can acknowledge that the philippines isn't the easiest place to grow up if you do not

have a lot of money because poverty is deeply widespread there and unfortunately that means that sexual predators are able to use children as commodities 83 of child victims who are involved in this horrific exploitation They're female the average age of those girls and boys is 11 11. just unbelievably young what's even worse is the research evidences that very often the parents are aware that the child is being abused and the abuse happens with the parents consent If you think about being hungry if your family is starving if life and death is something that is very

present for you on a regular basis then even though you are placing your child in the most horrific of scenarios i guess for some parents that feels more palatable than actually allowing them to not eat and allowing the family not to be able to survive Personally i drew how they're starved to death but arguably one can say well you've never been in that situation but having seen the impact of child molestation on children i can genuinely tell you that i wouldn't want to give anybody that level of trauma to live with for the rest of

their lives but nonetheless it's used as leverage over there isn't it money is leverage and the culture is very different i Think in the western world we have done a lot where safeguarding is concerned still a lot needs to happen the police take child sexual exploitation child abuse pedophilia all the things that go around that very very seriously and because of that our society recognizes just how reprehensible it is and the consequences are huge if you're involved in that and rightly so in a country where sex is essentially Seen as a commodity it could be

that the culture sees things very differently and therefore sex is something that can be sold no matter what the age arguably i will still note that for the majority of filipino parents i imagine the idea of trafficking their child is beyond the pale and would never happen i think as well we've got to acknowledge that legally there are issues as well Because essentially most of the men who get involved with these kids they have got no previous criminal convictions at all so they're mostly elderly western men yeah it's western men and when i say elderly

i'm not talking about 95 year olds but i'm talking about the older age group they've got money they've got time on their hands and they don't have criminal rap sheet To draw people to think that this individual is a risk the philippines because of this has become basically a key hub of a billion dollar global child cyber sex industry and one of the problems is that the operators are very aware of the legal loopholes so they operate in a way because they're able to use poverty on their side and also because they're Aware of the

legal ramifications and how to avoid them that they are able to remain anonymous particularly where the online world is concerned so suddenly we're in a scenario where not only are these children being used as leverage and commodities so that they can be sold for sex to make money for families and at times families won't be involved these children will just be taken But also these people who operate their websites they know how to do it in a way that remains anonymous thus protecting themselves and also protecting all those predators who are paying per view to

ensure that they get to engage in their depravity at a complete cost to those innocent kids i'm saying all of this stuff about legalities because that's how it plays Out it's not because authorities do not try i mean they have genuinely across the world been trying to address the growing problem for years and to give you examples in 2014 there was this incredible global operation it was a police operation and it dismantled a huge pedophile ring that had streamed live sexual abuse of philippine children online and this particular operator exploited children as young as six

years Of age again just to note in some of the cases victims parents were actually involved but that shows you that in spite of the fact that the abuse is taking part in other countries the police are concerned about that and are trying to break down those networks and pedophile connections and they do do it successfully in australia have had some huge cases blown out of the water in the last decade but it's very Difficult because of course you're looking at different legal systems different operators even with certain police organizations that might not take things

as seriously in certain countries and certainly in the western world we see that the police act fast and they act hard in these circumstances the bureaucracy elsewhere doesn't play out in that respect now although scully had never actually faced any charges in relation to the Production of child porn in australia there he was just a massive con man stealing money from investors and also sexually exploiting and trafficking his own girlfriend but he wasn't actually at this point creating child porn without a doubt though that sexually deviant behavior was there if you prostitute your teenage girlfriend

you have a deviance about Your nature and also it says to you doesn't it look this guy didn't care about anybody else's feelings what his girlfriend was was a means to an end he likes money and however he can exploit whatever situation to gain that money is worthwhile he isn't concerned about the collateral damage it's all about cash being king and he will achieve that however he desires and that says Something incredibly unique about his personality it says that he literally has no conscience whatsoever it's only the money that counts exploiting whatever whoever and however

really doesn't play in to his mentality so scully manages to establish a really lucrative pedophile network on the dark web and this takes place on the island of mindanao basically what he creates is an international sexual abuse ring He sets up this dark web website no limits fun and this specializes in an area of child pornography called hurt core i'm sure that many of you will never have heard of that i appreciate that for your sensitive dispositions even the word is enough to make you recoil her court is described that way because clearly it means

that a child is going to be put into an incredibly painful situation this was a particularly Extreme form of char porn which involved degrading violence bodily harm and sexual abuse scully at this point was using pseudonyms peter riddle and peter russell because he wanted to hide his online identity obviously and for good reason and i'll tell you why because this guy really was setting the bar as far as being a reprehensible child molesting paedophile genuinely His website basically enabled pedophiles to pay to live stream videos of children being tortured and sexually abused as per their

requests the thing about me and why i don't watch films like hostel if any of you have watched the horror film hostel is because i cannot watch that because i know that kind of stuff happens in the world so i don't see that as a horror movie i See that as a depiction of how some people's lives end these kind of hurt core pornography videos are all about that people being allowed to watch and command and if you imagine the kind of human beings who are behind those screens with a lot of money and they

have a certain predilection and they can just tell you what to do to that child The mind muggles when you imagine that we're talking about children defenseless helpless beautiful children and yet these monsters from behind screens wish to cause them utter harm just to satiate their utterly depraved needs there's going to be a video that i talk About later on and that video actually depicted the torture and infliction of horrific injuries to an 18 month old baby those videos of that unspeakable pain and agony of that child were sold two customers in germany the united

states brazil all over the world And what scully was very good at was exploiting the reality of those communities that he was living within because he knew there was extreme poverty and by going into a country where there was extreme poverty and using his financial leverage to find victims he created an industry he also got two filipina accomplices to basically solicit young girls that would Happen when they would go to places like shopping malls that he would get them to go and get girls to come back with them so he had his living partner calm

ann alvarez and 19 year old liesel magallo now migallo had previously been trafficked herself as a child so she had been in a scenario where she knew what she was putting those children through and she herself had experienced horrible Situations but it hadn't turned her against that scenario it had taught her that it was a way to make money now alvarez she was basically taken in by sully as his girlfriend and inverted commerce when he'd met her at 14 she was a 14 year old prostitute at the time bear in mind this guy's like heading

for 50s right and he's procured a 14 year old girl and is calling her his girlfriend and The worst bit about this is in countries like this in certain areas it's accepted in fact having an older western man as your partner is seen as a status symbol because you have access to things like money and healthcare and education and the things that you could never afford if you were just living there with your family scully was also as we know very adept at calling people because he managed to get it off investors and think about

that if You can con sophisticated investors to part with their hard end cash when they come probably from an industry and experience where they are schooled in these kind of things well it's not going to be that difficult is it for this middle-aged relatively well-dressed man who has financial opportunity to come parents into handing their children over to him he would promise parents That he could get work or education for their kids so he would tell them that the very thing they could never potentially afford they could never bestow to their children he could just

provide it and he would have been ingratiating himself and he would have seemed like a guy who could they could trust and they often handed over their children to him with the hope of giving them a Better life of course the minute that he had them in his clutches well all those children would just be abused and tortured for profit simple as that you can't imagine what those children were thinking when they arrived in that scenario they think they're going to a better life only to end up being horribly tortured and abused for money of

which they wouldn't see any anyway now in 2014 Scully and alvarez managed to lure two teenage girls these are cousins daisy and queenie they were aged 9 and 12 and basically they managed to get them to his house promised them food that's what they were promised just food anyway when they arrived there they were given alcohol by scully alvarez she was known as mistress scully she then forced them to perform sex acts With each other and this is while scully filmed them now when they tried to escape scully did the most psychologically traumatizing thing to

additionalize what they've been through he makes them dig graves in the basement where the filming had been done and whilst he's filming them still and he actually threatens to bury them there The power and control and domination in that making them dig graves was all about letting them know that he held their life and death in his power but also remember he's filming it so there is a strong possibility he's deciding whether he is going to murder them and of course we know that he will be selling this information to others he'll Be selling this

footage to other people in spite of the fact that he's done all this horrible abuse he's made them dig the graves he actually then keeps them captive for five days in his bedroom they were naked they were chained with dog collars around the necks like animals because of course he owns them remember this kind of a mentality in psyche he believes that they are his to do whatever he wishes to do with them they have no humanity it doesn't matter That they're innocent girls what matters is he has a product to sell and they are

part of that product it's reported actually that alvarez in spite of the fact that she's been heavily involved in this reprehensible abuse she at some point takes pity on them and she lets them escape i wonder whether that's because even though she is engaged in this she is also a psychological prisoner of scully To some degree not excusing her behavior it is reprehensible and beyond belief but i'm glad that she allows them to escape because we see there is a shred of humanity within this woman now the two girls they run home they're absolutely terrified

and they tell the families and they come from homes where the families are absolutely stunned by this information and they go to the police rightly so so following this a local court order School is arrested in november 2014 alongside scully they also arrest alvarez and magallo so it's good that the police took that very very seriously and of course immediately acted now when it comes down to the videos it was scully alvarez and magolo that would feature in the videos they would be naked they would be wearing masks which remember we're dealing with child torture

and abuse so imagine how scary that would be for children anyway And then as i noted before they would go ahead and they would just carry out the customers depraved requests now everything that i've told you so far about his videos sets up what a horrific thing was going on behind these closed doors but he actually became relatively notorious in the pedophile engagement area because the most notorious material he streamed were a series of videos Called daisy's destruction clients actually paid up to ten thousand pounds to watch these films on a pay-per-view basis this daisy's

destruction gained such a reputation that it became like a myth stuff of an urban legend many people just didn't believe it even existed but it did exist sadly it was All too real daisy's destruction became scully's highest grossing production just let that sink in it became his highest grossing production it depicted the sexual abuse rape and torture of three little girls that was 18 month old barbie 11 year old cindy and 12 year old lisa the abuse was carried out by scully Alvarez margalo and margello in particular she was the one who committed just terrible

acts on the children that was under the instructions of scully one of the girls these little innocent children was hung upside down beaten on her hands and feet and doused in hot wax she screamed and she cried as she was beaten raped tortured defiled all this by scully and his two Masked accomplices in the video scully was also seen to use a lighter barbed wire submersion in a water tank and sex aid to torture the child and in the most notorious and depraved of the videos daisy who was the 18 month old baby girl she

was tied by her feet upside down just remember 18 months of age and the film invited the viewer to watch her mental state ruin as she learned how to please her Mistress that was specifically what they said they invited the watcher to watch her mental ruin they took that little baby's hands and they tied them and then they pulled the legs apart they put duct tape on her mouth to silence the crying they beat her with a belt they burned her with a light they sexually assaulted Her of course margallo actually poured hot wax onto

the baby's private parts bear in mind people are paying 10 000 pounds to watch this i'm not going to go into more details that's enough regarding what plays out with that little baby the video gained instant notoriety and law enforcement heard about it They were aware of it the filipino police chief bear in mind who is seeing this happen regularly as far as sex trafficking as children and young girls being exploited you know he's seeing it regularly but the filipino police chief said it is the worst we have encountered in our years campaigning against child

pornography so again at this point It's a world that is looking for this individual people are horrified in police organizations all over the world because it is so notorious and so terrifying and of course it isn't just affecting the philippines this is affecting anywhere where pay-per-view has been affected right so they get this manhunt internationally they want to find the abusers the face of scully in these videos was pixelated But it wasn't enough because the authorities recognized his accent and if you hear peter scully speak he has an accent that you would recognize there's almost

an impediment when he speaks and it makes it very unique to him the dutch australian and interpol police start working together with the philippine authorities to basically track him down they want to bring this man to justice and school he is finally Apprehended finally in malibu city in the philippines is actually arrested on the 20th of february 2015 after a three-week stakeout police seize his computer they get his video camera his memory cards his hard drives also alvarez is arrested soon after at this time he wasn't the only australian sex offender in the country in

fact 250 australians with sex convictions as Far as against children had traveled to the philippines in the previous four years that's according to the australian federal police so he was not alone he was in very good depraved company now as i said two of them have been arrested but the third is accomplished 23 year old margallo she manages to evade police for a whole year when they track her down well she's literally masquerading as shannon Carpio claims to be a wife of a french software millionaire she's been basically living the life of riley in a

luxury palatial condominium in cebu city those who knew her there were absolutely stunned they all thought that she was this really nice girl with this like outgoing sweet and innocent person i'm sure she did have an outgoing sweet and innocent personality on the outside and just when you scratch the surface she was just a Monster on the inside but there again psychopathic sociopaths are excellent at times at being very charming aren't they surface wise lots of shallow ability to connect with people but like i said beneath the surface just a pit of snakes it's as

simple as that and i'm saying that because yes we can all feel a level of empathy for being brought up in a place where potentially you have been sex trafficked yourself But this girl didn't stop with the child porn no so now scully is actually arrested and she can walk away she chooses not to she just carries on she actually spends that time that 12 months where she's free recruiting victims for rape and torture videos and Following school his arrest he manages to actually because of that just operate his cyber porn business from prison that's

what happens he's court banter rights all this evidence and yet somehow just manages to carry on making money it's incredible isn't it he's still able to orchestrate the abuse of children despite the fact that he's being locked up Margello does get arrested thank god 25th of january 2017 and she gets instantly remanded and custody she's not safe to be on the streets and they make sure that she doesn't have an opportunity to be now the child's victims in the daisy's destruction video were actually tracked down liza and barbie well they were both alive thank god

Although that 18 month old barbie where she had suffered permanent physical injuries and psychological trauma from the abuse that she'd suffered during that filming of the video understandably we can all imagine what kind of injuries they were and she was reportedly left permanently infertile so they didn't just traumatize her and steal her safety They maybe presented her from ever being able to have children of her own i mean that's a life sentence isn't it so like i said those two lisa and barbie were at least alive it wasn't quite the same for cindy though she

didn't get to be as lucky as the other two margallo was the person who later confirmed to the authorities what actually had happened and scully had filmed a video in which He raped and then he tortured cindy then he made her dig her grave and then he strangled her with a rope because scully was making a snuff movie he was making a pornography movie where the victim at the end doesn't get to leave in february 2015 cindy's skeletal remains were found In a shallow grave under the kitchen in a house rented by scully she had

been entrusted to him and trusted she had actually been entrusted by her guardian who was looking after her to margallo she was five at the age of being handed over to scully and margallo who by the way promised to take really good care of her they were gonna send her to school feed her bring her up in a really good Way and of course with the poverty being so rife the guardian had likely thought well i can't really afford this child this seems like a really great opportunity what's to worry about my gala is lovely

and scully is of course this western guy with money sure it will be fine it's alleged that scully actually filmed himself repeatedly sexually abusing that little girl and then strangling her to death before burying her body in 2013 They believe that happened by the way they even found that a knife had also been inserted into that little girl's anus which demonstrates the kind of monster not only that he was but that every single human being tuning in to that kind of event being willing to pay per view For that kind of material is they are

all monsters and they inhabit our communities scholars accomplished alvarez or she was also able to lead the authorities to the girl's remains because one was telling them about what happened the other was able to show the police exactly where she had been buried the investigation Into scully just blew out of the water so many links and connections to a web of really high profile perpetrators in the world of online child sexual abuse and what we see when the police start investigating these crimes is that because the internet is so far and wide that once they

locate an origin so the beginning of a particular perpetrator's online Abuse as in creating and disseminating this kind of information and video and horrible horrible material to others then obviously they've got customers and those individuals who watch the abuse are obviously guilty of child abuse so then it creates lots and lots of opportunities to arrest these kind of perpetrators even though many of them are disguised still they are amazing at tracking down these individuals One of the biggest sellers and distributors of extreme child porn at the time especially this horrific hurt core porn was another

australian matthew david graham and he had actually ran several her core child porn sites he was 18 years old and in his final year at college living with his parents would you believe when he became embroiled in the dark web Prior to this had no earlier convictions no criminal activity but this would all change relatively soon into his teenage years graham was a massive online gamer he was into fantasy games like world of warcraft very popular game also he frequented the infamous 4chan website so the 4chan website was an imageboard website and it's been created

by 15 year old christopher known as moot pool it Was completely anonymous it was an anything goes for him so it attracted a lot of people like young hackers trolls because trolls get everywhere don't they give them an anonymous site and they will be there with their anonymous abuse you can't help it can you you little trolls you like to get everywhere and you know where all the bad stuff is but also you know people who would make memes that was also a place that attracted them the users Didn't have to create any kind of

profile they didn't have to load anything up identity wise so obviously they could post anything without any fear of any repercussions and actually it was responsible for some of the largest hoaxes cyber bullying incidents which were horrible and also internet pranks including the infamous rick rolling phenomenon do you know what rick rolling is guys and why it was such a phenomenon Well i'll tell you because in the old uk back in the 80s and 90s but mostly the 80s we had somebody called rick astley and he was known for quite a few songs but there

was one that was called never gonna give you up and it was really really successful he could have been like a mega star but he hated the fame well the rick rolling prank was where you follow a link thinking you're gonna go somewhere and then it was just him Singing and actually with respect to recastly it actually gave him a resurgence of the fame that he didn't want and now i think he's quite happy with it so pretty cool for him but that kind of rick rolling phenomenon was something that was seen it was kind

of a jokey experience it was also the birthplace of the international activist and hacktivist collective anonymous and you'll all have seen pictures and videos of anonymous i imagine And this site covered a wide variety of topics many of which made it notorious by the way because of the fact that nobody had to give their name you could put anything on it and there were clearly going to be things that were able to catch on and also things that were able to cause problems it was also actually the site that was blamed for celebgate that was

the leaking of all the stolen nude photographs of dozens of female Celebrities so it really did cause some big issues in october 2011 it turned out that anonymous announced the operation dark net and that was announced on 4chan the plan was to launch cyber attacks on inverted commas lolita city so that was a dark net child porn site this porn site could only actually be accessed using tor software aka the onion router this Enables invisible browsing so it allows you to unlock sites that regular internet users can't access and graham reads about this planned cyber

attack and later on by the way he actually admitted that he did actually have these latent pedophilic tendencies and acted on them but he knew that they were within him that he had this predilection and predisposition potentially for being Attracted to children so obviously when he hears about anonymous planning to cause issues for this particular site he's intrigued so he looks into tour software and he starts looking into child porn websites particularly the one that anonymous were talking about so he looks into lolita and ironically it seems that that reading about the plan to go

in for anonymous to take down that site and Expose the users was the very thing that drew graham into the world of the dark web and child porn and he wow soon became like a major player on the dark web and his pseudonym was it looks he basically set up and administered a broad range of hidden dark net websites and online forums for pedophiles and he actually became known as the king of hurtco These sites they were horrific they were basically set up to just children you know horrific torture extreme sexual abuse of kids including

babies and toddlers and i'm going to be honest with you when you look into this in detail what you'll find is these sites are not popular amongst the mass majority of pedophiles And obviously we all know that pedophiles who act out in any way whether that's looking at child porn or grooming children to get pictures of them or of course direct physical contact they are sick individuals who need to be contained it's as simple as that but the fact is that for those individuals who are already engaged in this kind of relationship inappropriately with children

to some Degree and they didn't want to see this it was horrific they certainly didn't want to see children getting tortured and abused and this guy who set all of this up he actually told a journalist people who have an interest in such things should have a place where they're able to voice their opinions and desires yeah just gonna say That's bollocks in fact you should never ever find a safe place to voice your opinions and desires unless you're in court being sent down for said crimes or in therapy whilst being locked up at that

point you voice your opinions and desires safely so that somebody else can help you see how wrong they are and how disturbed you Are that's the only time you should never have a place to voice your opinions and desires about illegal immoral dangerous depraved activities towards children or in fact anyone bizarrely and worryingly as well graham at this point where he's setting all of this up as a young adult is actually a babysitter He was a babysitter for six local children at the time that were three boys and three girls all of them aged under

the age of ten it turns your stomach doesn't it us parents we just think we can trust a lot of people and arguably we can a lot of people but imagine being the parent who hands your child over to somebody who in the end is outed for being one of the most dangerous human beings probably on earth And i mean that i mean these people are literally so dangerous that if they had any kind of real power could you imagine the harm that they would do to vast numbers of people and even in this small

space in the world with the access to the internet and their predilection for harm gave them an opportunity even though they had very little power in the world to go out and do representable harm and Irreparable harm and graham's actual sites they originally were hosted by freedom hosting that's tour's most popular hosting service and its owner was eric ian marks and he was later described by the fbi as the world's largest facilitator of online sex abuse regarding children i have simultaneously in my head right now a really Really rageful reaction to even reading that name

out in context with what i'm describing and what i feel i would like to do to irishman eric ian marks genuinely i would get locked up for it there is no doubt i'm imagining that all of you right now simultaneously with me are having similar experiences regarding what we would like to do to this person in fact what we'd like to do to all of these people that i've been talking About today and will continue to talk about today now this guy's web hosting service they actually found more than 8.5 million like that's thinking 8.5

million images of child exploitation material that's just on his hosting site right this guy gets arrested and then extradited to the us by irish authorities in march 2019 so literally just a few years ago He did plead guilty to conspiracy to advertise child abuse images and he got sentenced to 27 years not long enough not long enough you know i get it they maybe didn't have the information required to have him found guilty of actually being a child molester because he was distributing as opposed to necessarily making them or directly abusing children himself but i

don't buy into that as far as i'm concerned if you are the host to Distributing all of these disgusting images and you unknowingly and willingly do it you are literally inciting child pornography therefore child sexual abuse and molestation you are terrible and you do not deserve to walk the streets ever again but then you know prison can be pretty awful in america for child molesters so who knows who he might get next to him In a cell or even in a cell with him now graham as i was talking about this younger boy who's got

involved as a 18 year old in this kind of arena he starts hosting his own sites because he's now really immersing himself in it and later investigations linked him to numerous notorious online paedophiles including australian shannon mccool aka skee that was a child care worker sentenced to 35 years in prison amen to that sentence he Actually sexually abused seven children in his care but he also ran this dark web child porn site so he was very engaged in distributing and making child pornography as well as abusing children and graham well he supplied videos to his

site grain was also linked to 26 year old american christopher grief aka mookie ugh the name christopher grief i mean the grief that this man caused you kind of think he was Literally christened with his potential but this guy mookie was a prolific user of one of graham's hurt core sites and his computer was found to contain a literal abundance of child porn and animal torture aka massive psychopath and they actually found on those videos the rape of a three-month-old baby he was sentenced to eight years in 2018 i don't think that h is is

even comparable to the length of sentence that all of us would feel he required If you are interested in watching the rape of a three-month-old baby you should never walk the streets again ever you know it's just not acceptable for you to be allowed to be out there more significantly however this graham that's obviously been distributing these videos well it turns out he's also linked to peter scully yes our infamous notorious Reprehensible doesn't deserve oxygen peter scully and scully shared material with graham including this infamous daisies destruction videos which of course was perfect material for

graham's hurt course sites now graham did admit later on but the reason he got that video was he wanted to attract more users to his site which is just beyond reason isn't it you're like Actually seeing that as a marketing tactic and also what's it saying about the client group that you're particularly going for graham was going for the most hardcore of users people who wanted to see beautiful innocent children defiled and even murdered now if it isn't heinous enough to know that the police are investigating scully for all of the things i've just been

talking about He's also getting investigated in relation to the possible murder of a child in russia they believe that there could be this crucial material on the sites that have been hosted by graham that could essentially help the investigation now graham later on does admit to 13 child pornography charges and one of these charges is basically the encouraging And advising on the abduction rape and killing of the five-year-old russian girl you know sometimes when i say these words you know they're just words aren't they but beneath it is just tragedy isn't it i mean i

don't know about many of you but i'm obsessed with the care and compassion towards children like i look at five-year-old kids six-year-old kids Three-year-old kids for your kids and i just want to protect them i want their lives to be beautiful and i'm talking about a five-year-old little kid like a mere toddler and she's literally been procured and then these grown men are advising on her torture rape and murder now scully is also as i've mentioned implicated in that crime Graham only got 15 years in march 2016 and it just baffles me absolutely baffles me

we're talking about 15 years for this monster now scully when they finally looked at all the material they said that they had enough to see that he'd been sexually involved with abusing at least 75 children 69 of the charges that he faced actually Related to his business because he was making videos for these dark web clients but he also faced charges for cyber crimes and for people trafficking which is just showing you that this man had an extensive network for making money and it wasn't just online it was direct too he was literally people trafficking

now he did initially express remorse for his actions this was In the media and in spite of the fact that he admits this remorse and they have literal video evidence everywhere he pleaded not guilty to all counts not guilty to all counts sorry peter sorry sorry can we just take a breath for a minute you're not guilty no i'm not guilty You're in the videos no i'm not you are it's your body it's your voice it's your home yes you could say that but it's not actually me shall we just shoot him now sorry that

was my fantasy playing out a Little bit there about the end but arguably what does that mean what does it mean this man who's apparently expressed remorse yeah for his actions literally in the media so i'm really sorry for doing it but i didn't do it anyway it shows that he doesn't care at all about his victims because now all of his victims have to go through a massive ordeal of a trial which is just horrific eight girl victims were eventually held In witness protection prior to the trial and why was that you think well

clearly those girls were at risk of losing their life because scully had money didn't he and this is a place where you can pay for a lot of things to happen so it's not too difficult to get eight girls bumped off and they must have been terrified for their lives these innocent victims having to be held in witness protection for fear that somebody's gonna bribe Somebody to end their lives schooling ends up going on trial in the philippines in september 2016 and there are several other defendants as well all of these have been involved in

the production of child pornography that was a german christian rouge filipinos alexander lau and althea che and brazilian haniel kitano dia leviera during the hearings scully was seen just laughing and just joking with his co-accused oh he just thought it was Hilarious it wasn't for him something to take seriously he liked being on show he certainly didn't want to show anybody that he was concerned at all about the potential of going to prison the first six charges that he faced were they related to the 2014 abduction and sexual abuse of the two teenage girls that

i mentioned earlier the girls who were held captive for five days It later transpired that australian taxpayers had unknowingly funded hundreds of thousands of dollars of schoolies legal costs under a scheme for serious overseas criminal matters can you believe it yeah he was basically getting his legal costs and bank rolled by good citizens of australia This is the man who's made ridiculous amounts of money live streaming char porn and yet not only is he exploiting children he's exploiting taxpayers this is just deep within his psyche isn't he he just feels entitled it's as simple as

that now even though he's going through the legal system it's worth noting at this point that unfortunately in this case capital punishment was abolished in the Philippines in 2006. however it was thought by some of the prosecutors that schoolies crimes were so bad that they actually wanted to introduce the death penalty they felt that he was a mastermind behind a child pornography syndicate the world over and that his videos selling child torture and murder were so reprehensible and terrifying and disturbing that they Needed to make it clear to the world that it wouldn't be accepted

and they wanted him to be put to death his deeds were basically the most shocking cases of child abuse and trafficking that the officials had ever come across think about that in a place that is basically rife with some of these issues he literally got the macabre award for being the worst pedophile child molester trafficker Video disseminator they'd ever come across and one prosecutor actually stated in their words they were the most devastating thing i'd ever seen i cried when i was watching them in fact i feel like crying just now whilst talking about it

it was hard to believe what i was seeing that somebody could do those things to children Now it should be bound to writes case clothes shouldn't it like bang too right to go into prison for a billion years and we have a lift straight down hell again that's just in my head the prosecution ends up suffering a major setback in 2015 it's october and guess what happens guess what happens the evidence room gets badly damaged by fire oh i wonder how that happened could it have been a little electrical thought could It have just been

by chance could it have just been one of those things like lightning going through the clouds and just making it go poof on fire or could it be some really really really clearly coerced stroked bribed bad people who decided that they would help scully try to evade capture by going in and setting Fire to all of the evidence yeah clearly somebody was in it weren't they and they were like how much money sure i'll go and do that even though what i'll be doing is freeing one of the most despicable human beings to walk the

earth but money talks and some people have no conscience whatsoever and there's a bit of me that's like look scully is in a world of his own isn't he in that kind of mindset and that kind of absolute despicable behavior He's warped he's beyond help but what about the people who tried to help him literally what about the people who were willing knowing what that absolute bastard had done to go and set fire to the evidence to potentially see that monster walking the streets having access to children again because bear in mind this man would

never stop the consequences would never be big enough for him to actually stop That kind of behavior he's money orientated and he has no boundaries so he's willing to do whatever it takes to get whatever he wants and he likes the power so the people who set that place on fire in an attempt to distort and destroy the evidence they were willing to cause further murder abuse and torture of children it's clear that there was a local police officer in that area who'd been bribed And went ahead and did it and you know as much

as there are amazing police officers and investigators in the philippines it's also full of police corruption so it would be quite easy to get somebody to do that on the 13th of june 2018 this is despite much of the evidence against him having literally gone up in flames and been destroyed scully was still ultimately convicted of One just one count of human trafficking and five counts of rape which is bizarre but nonetheless that's what he got convicted of that's what they could clearly be sure of getting him for schooling in his girlfriend alvarez they were

both sentenced to life in prison alvarez was seen to just burst into tears When the sentence was passed you know she was going to spend the rest of her life in a philippines prison scully well he just smiled just smiled now he will actually face trials in future for up to 60 other charges but i think they just wanted to make sure that they got him put away and got him put away in a way where he knew that he was never ever going to get out But the fact that he smiles is disturbing and

i would imagine the reason that he does smile is he has that much access potentially to money that his life in prison isn't going to be quite as terrible as somebody else's life in prison because bribery is key in these certain circumstances and if you have a lot of money well you're going to be able to afford protection you're probably going to be able to afford certain foods getting in there you're Probably going to get quite a comfortable place to stay because you can pay your way i am assuming this but i think in my

experience of looking at the way systems work in other countries this will play out so he isn't that concerned also the little smile is to let everybody know that you can't really control him yeah you can lock me away yeah you can take my freedom from me yeah you can judge me but i don't care about your opinion I don't think i did anything wrong because that's what goes on in that man's mind he doesn't necessarily believe that he did anything wrong remember everybody is a player in his world and if he wants to end

your life or talk to your child or just take your money he feels entitled to do so he basically has scorn on human beings doesn't he he doesn't like human beings he doesn't respect them All his actions demonstrate that so why on earth would he care about a judgment that somebody else put on him you can't contain someone's mind even if we wish he could so even though scully should consider himself to actually still be lucky breathing in spite of the fact that obviously he's got money to pay guards and to get levels of protection

he doesn't necessarily feel that his surroundings are befitting him no he's Not one of those individuals who's like well didn't get shot by firing squad for doing this horrible stuff which if we could have a vote here we would all agree that we would be on the side of corporal punishment at this moment in time but he doesn't consider himself looking to still be breathing no no he's found it necessary to complain about the conditions that he's facing he feels it's seriously overcrowded and it is so I looked up that jail was built to accommodate

350 people but actually it holds almost 2 000 and scully actually says that he should be entitled to special treatment do you know what that special treatment is he feels that he should be allowed a mobile phone and fresh beef pork and chicken i mean of course what why stop there why stop there scully you've not thought this out You don't just want a mobile phone and fresh beef pork and chicken no no no no no no for somebody like you mr scully we should bring in our own michelin chef i mean i'm sure there

are some fantastic chefs out there just bring them in have them in the next cell to you that's been made into obviously a catering style kitchen and we'll obviously make sure that tripadvisor michelin's charles and the aaa come out to make sure that It's up to scratch as far as the levels of hygiene are concerned and what's being served and on top of that why stop at a phone why stop at a phone you should have your own suite your own suite a library with phones with computers i don't know even some nice 1980s cb

radio whatever takes your fans say probably your own television studio let's do that as well i personally when you talk about special treatment can think of a lot of special Treatment that i think he should get i hope he gets it on a daily basis possibly in every orifice for the rest of his miserable life shall we say i don't like him i don't like what he's done i don't feel like i have to be professional when talking about him i'm not going to be i have a particular place in my mind in my heart

and in my being that i place individuals like him anyway like i said i've digressed a Little bit there i've dragged rest and i've gone into personal zone of what should happen to peter scully apologies for that and as we know and as we feel joy recognizing even though he will have lots of special things because of money he hasn't got the trappings of her life that he feels he deserves for the rest of his life because he's going to die there and remember a lot of people get sick in those prisons because it doesn't

have The hygiene and sanitation and opportunities medical wise so it isn't going to be great for him in the long term so that smile on his face will be wiped off by now now sadly removing monsters like peter scully from the streets is literally literally just the tip of the iceberg because despite advancements in technology to track to identify perpetrators which They are doing and believe me there are in the western world suedes swathes of officers who spend their lives looking at reprehensible pornography content to ensure that children are saved from their abusers one of

my close friends paul settle who actually has done a podcast with me on my patreon he used to run the pedophile unit for the met he's an incredible guy and he talks about in my podcast with him on patreon How the officers coach and how they felt about those circumstances and of course how they had to be removed from that situation because it was just exhausting and the compassion fatigue that they felt was just unbelievable but he talked about how they brought to justice a particular perpetrator and saved a particular child and it is just

intoxicating and worth celebrating the commitment that those officers have to finding the Bastards who are going out and causing the harm to their own children and to other children and to anonymous children in the material that they share and watch now according to the internet watch foundation 2021 it was the worst year on record for online sexual abuse i'm not being political when i say this by the way guys but this is a statistic and it's evidenced as well so this isn't me saying it i get [ __ ] sometimes people Saying to me oh

you mentioned lockdown but i'm not i'm saying the internet watch foundation have found that in 2021 it was the worst record for online child sexual abuse and they said that lockdown saw a drastic drastic increase in online grooming because millions of young kids stayed indoors they spent more time online they were encouraged to be online so therefore they were speaking to people online and inhabiting a world that they Didn't used to inhabit 24 7 and that gave predators loads of access to children that weren't schooled in these areas and they didn't have an understanding that

these dangerous perpetrators are out there it also saw a three-fold increase in online sexual abuse imagery featuring in particular seven to ten year olds a three-fold increase 252 000 urls containing images of or Videos of children being sexually abused were compared to previous year 153 000 so that's the leap the leap in those urls containing those images there were also a significant increase in self-generated material this is where as i said very early on in the video children are actually manipulated into basically recording their own abuse and then that gets shared online online abuse is

occurring on an Industrial scale make no bones about it it is industrial it is big billion pound business and these men and they are mostly men there are women but they are mostly men are making a fortune out of the devastation degradation torture abuse and at times murder of little girls and boys interpol actually analyzed a random Selection of videos and images from its international child sexual exploitation image and video database this database is basically an intelligence and investigative tool compiled by specialized investigators and they come from more than 64 countries so it's very very

comprehensive and a subsequent 2018 joint report by interpol and expat which is the international end child sexual exploitation Identified the following alarming trends together these agencies discovered that the younger the child the more severe the abuse so 84 of the images contained explicit sexual activity more than 60 of the unidentified victims were prepubescent that's including infants and toddlers 65 of unidentified victims were girls and severe abuse images were likely to Feature boys so the more severe were more likely to be toward boys 92 of the visible offenders were actually male so the offenders who were

involved in that were massively disproportionately male now in the context of child pornography many consider the viewing of images and videos to be a less serious issue i do not yeah it's a contactless crime So they're not physically in the room with that child but online abuse occurs because there is a demand for it if you put your eyes on child abuse and pornography you are a child molester you are an abuser you create the demand for it nowadays in this day and age in this technological explosion that we really don't know How it's affecting

our community we don't it's too early we don't know how it's going to be in 50 years whether we'll be going oh it was great what happened with the internet whether we'll be like that was the end of civilization if we knew it but what we do know is having this information about just how far and wide child sexual exploitation child abuse child pornography and so on and so forth is then we have to think about how we Keep our children safe online we really do the fact that i've told you these statistics today should

really inform you that as a community as parents as educators as social workers psychologists therapists and anybody who has contact with kids we need to be helping them to understand just how dangerous the internet can be as far as breaching their safety so much of this pornography during Lockdown was actually created by teenagers and children in their bedrooms not knowing that the images they were sending were to predators who were then going to use that to sell to many many other predators there are so many things that we can do for making sure that our

computers have safety options that we actually choose the materials our kids are able to see that we track their activity that we make sure that we check in regularly to See what they are doing online i used to check my kids phones when they were too young as far as i was concerned to have the responsibility for them so until they hit 15 i would spot check and i was glad because on one occasion i found that definitely somebody was trying to groom my oldest boy who at the time was like 14 they wanted him

to be the best friend to be the only person they trusted you know i know that language and whilst it didn't eventuate in Anything terrible happening to him i think if i hadn't seen that who knows it's up to us to know this information to recognize that these monsters they reside behind screens they reside in our neighborhoods they reside in our churches in our schools they reside everywhere that children exist and the only real way that we can keep those children safe is to inform them of What they should be able to expect from the

adults around them and know that we are a safe space who will believe them if they ever come with information that we need to know aside from that i think making this video is important because we need to realize that in the western world whilst not everyone is safe and some of you listening to this video will have been sexually molested and being victims of child sexual abuse and i am so sorry for That i know this area so personally so i know the damage that it does to every human being that it impacts on

and no child should ever go through it but in the western world ultimately we have much better catch frames for support they're not great but they exist but in places like the philippines and thailand india and many other places children are fully at risk because they don't have money to eat food they don't Have families who can support them they don't have a world that they should deserve to inhabit and so the more that we can think as communities as societies how we can help make a change to those individuals whether that's making sure we

give money to charities that directly give that money to kids or whether we get involved ourselves in fundraising and align ourselves with particular orphanages and organizations that we can directly Impact on them there are so many things that we can do to bring better life to those children and young people more than anything we can talk about it we can talk about it openly and honestly we can have difficult conversations with people to spread the word that this kind of thing happens we can discuss the fact that the deep dark web exists we can ultimately

remind people that even those monsters who hide behind screams from their anonymous positions who believe That they will never be brought to justice often do and will be and it's just a matter of time because the more sophisticated that these child molesters become the more sophisticated their technology you bet your bottom dollar that there's some teenage genius now coming up the ranks feeling that this kind of abuse is Reprehensible creating technology that you or i could probably only dream of creating that one day will make sure that it infects every single one of those computers

of those individuals who thinks they're so safe and eventually draw that net so tight that they won't even have breathing space until that happens though it's so important that we talk openly and honestly about child molestation and Abuse we let victims speak honestly and openly about how it affected them and we stopped pretending that this kind of situation doesn't play out the dark web exists the deep dark web exists and as i said films like hostel i don't watch them because that stuff's real for some people that's genuinely how their life ends thank you so
