Steve Harvey is finally speaking out on what Diddy did to his daughter Lorie and why he let it go on. According to these new receipts, Steve had to force Diddy to leave Lorie alone. That's not all.
Other black celebrities are speaking out on how Harvey failed as a father for letting both Diddy and his son use Lorie at the same time. And don't even get me started on what Lorie had to face at Diddy's parties. There's a lot to cover, so let's get [music] started.
All right, Jen is with me now to talk about another story making headlines [music] today. Yeah. So, this one is actually sparked by these pictures.
That's 49year-old P. Daddyy with his hand on his girlfriend's belly. Now, that is 22year-old Lorie Harvey.
They're in Cabo. She's of course talk show host Steve Harvey's stepdaughter. People are talking about maybe she could be pregnant.
You know, he's rubbing her belly a little bit. Lady date her. Yes, that cannot be true.
Sounds [music] like someone's got issues. And by someone, we mean him, cuz they actually look pretty happy. Diddy and Lorie Harvey, they're [music] heating things up in Italy.
Notice her arm is on the back of his chair. Shocking for [music] for some reason. But yes, Diddy's now getting super cozy with Steve Harvey's daughter, who Diddy's son, Justin Combmes, used to hang out with.
Justin were even that serious. They were [music] just out in the club a couple times. I think it's more interesting that Steve Harvey is there.
himself. The number one most interesting thing about this photo is dating his son or Eskimo [music] brother. And to make it more interesting, his son on this trip, they were there.
They're not in these pictures, but I think they left. He is dating his son's ex-girlfriend when his son was there as well. But if his sons moved on, why not?
Puff has an unbelievably [music] close relationship with all of his sons. I don't think it's something that he would do if it was a big huge deal. You like who you like.
The exception to I like who I like is except my son's exception. Back in 2019, TMZ leaked news of Diddy and Lorie Harvey's dating. At the same time, photos showed Lorie and Justin, Diddy's son, making out at parties.
Steve Harvey knew that Diddy, who was 50 at the time, was dating [music] Lorie, who was just 22. But he said nothing. Instead, he even went out with them to Italy, where Diddy kept touching Lorie the entire time he was having lunch with Harvey.
We know now that Diddy would force his girlfriends to be intimate with other men, but the fact that Diddy was allegedly forcing Lorie to be intimate with his son is shocking to say the least. Lorie has confirmed that she was only dating one person at the time. Now, your dad is Steve Harvey, and I feel like he's a guru of relationships.
We see him be an incredible husband to your mom. What? And obviously, he had the book Think Like a Man.
Like I I feel like everybody wants to know what is the one piece of advice he's given you that really has stuck. Just remember that you're the prize always. Say that one more time.
Just remember that you are the prize. Yes. That's like his golden slogan for me.
Yeah. And what does that mean for you in relationships when you're like, I'm the prize. What does that mean?
It just means not compromising like my values, my happiness, my peace, not settling for less than what I know I deserve, and not being afraid to walk away from a situation if it's like no longer serving me. I even feel like a lot of people could have speculated so many things in your past relationships, and you've always been so classy and very mum's the word. You're like, I'm not going to be out here saying a whole lot, but if it does not serve me, I'm moving on.
I got that. Now, so many things get written about you in the press, but I've always wanted to know what is like the biggest misconception about who Lorie Harvey is. It's so funny cuz there's because I'm so quiet, there's been so many stories that have been made up about me.
Like, I've seen stories about me being like fully in love with somebody and we have like this whole relationship and I'll see the guy and I'm like, I've actually never even met him before. Like full-blown stories. I've heard I've dated a father and son before.
Not true. Absolutely not true. After almost 6 years of silence, Steve Harvey recently broke his silence on the issue and said that Diddy deserves to be in jail for what he was doing to the women he was with.
Keep in mind, he said all of this completely unprompted and named Diddy as an abuser. It's obvious Diddy did something to Lori that Steve Harvey is angry about. He was doing all this, but boy, let me tell you something, man.
And he was getting away with a lot. But when that video came out, the one in the hotel room, you mean? Bro, that's like you going.
You sitting there going, "Wait a minute. Hold up, man. What you doing?
" I mean, bro, for you to be a public figure, wrap a towel around yourself and run down a public hallway, not knowing who's at that elevator. It could have been other people at the elevator, but you go around there and there's no one at the elevator, and that's your reaction to this girl. Yo, bro.
So now that's what we caught on tape. That's the one that's on tape. That's the one that's out in the public in front of the elevator.
My goodness. What's been going on when you ain't in front of the elevator? Now you know it's got to have been magnified back there.
So now you're just not a good person. You know, man, you can't you can't run it like that cuz now you got to pay. And the thing about sin is sin cost you more than you want to pay and make you stay longer than you want to stay.
And that's what he in now. And he had the power to do whatever you want to do. But just cuz you can do something don't mean you should.
You got money. I have some money. But bro, I take this money home.
This ain't the time to spread it all over Dubai. You know it this ain't that ain't how it work, man. And then you get to have this life that you have because you played within the rules.
One tweet about the situation said, "Diddy is hell. " But some of the he's saying got me side eyeing him. Really, Steve?
We all saw her child date both son and father. Gross. And most people that make millions on top of millions don't be decent people.
How you think they got all that? They'd be devils. Just to remind you of what Diddy was doing to the women he dated, Cassie testified that Diddy would her and force her to be intimate with multiple s at the same time.
Multiple men would continue to have intimate relations with Cassie for days on end. And every time Cassie would get tired, Diddy would her to force her to stay awake. Cassie told the jury that Diddy forced her into drugfueled acts with male while he watched sometimes sitting in the cornerbait through tears.
She said she took drugs to herselfy and all of it allegedly supplied by Diddy. Diddy wasn't doing any of this behind closed doors. Other celebrities knew what went on at his parties, and he would even pay off hotel staff to erase the footage later.
Letting your daughter date someone this horrifying is insane. Nick Cannon commented on this, too, and said that he felt like Steve Harvey had let down his daughter. But you see uh Puffy supposedly dating Lorie Harvey.
Yeah. And what's that age difference? That's like that's like 20 something years.
But at least ah she's being buff. [laughter] Lorie Harvey. She's what?
23. Let's look it up. Let's look this up.
And he's almost he's 49. 22. 22 and 49.
Diddy is 49 years old. Oh man, that is a 27year difference. Do you have a problem with that?
H, that's an interesting question. Do I have a problem with that? Not so much.
I wouldn't have a problem with that, but I'd be heartbroken if that was my daughter. Yeah. and and they're hanging out with Steve Harvey and her mom and everything else like that.
To each his own, but I would feel like I failed as a father. If I'm sitting across from a table with a dude the same age as me that's dating my daughter. Yeah, I feel like I failed.
The worst part about the situation is how all this time Steve Harvey has been talking about how he's the best father in the world. In that same interview, he said that families are off limits as he reveals he tracked down several guys online who made derogatory statements about his wife and daughters. Uh, we don't even shoot Family Feud in LA anymore.
We shoot that in Atlanta. I'm not the Hollywood type. I was out there trying to make it.
I did a lot of TV in Hollywood, but I never fit into the Hollywood mold. You know, you never saw me at all the Hollywood parties and you don't see me on all the red carp the red carpets aren't bad. You got to go to promote your films and go to award shows.
But I kind of started looking at the business in terms of rewards instead of awards. And I don't care that they invite me to the award show. I just give me my check.
I just want the reward and then I'll figure it out. And then by the grace of God, I became globally famous. I'm I'm more of a global factor than a Hollywood factor now.
So I use that as I travel and so it's a little different from me needing Hollywood. Did you make that choice of wanting to stay out of the Hollywood parties and events and all that? Was that a Was that a choice because you felt like, hey, that's probably not where I want to be?
Yeah, that's a conscious decision. You know, my brand is different. I got to protect my brand.
If you participate in Hollywood, they going to destroy your brand. I mean, look, we got enough as it is with all of the uh social media platforms. Social media is such the devil's playground now.
At the same time, Steve Harvey has been subtly hinting at why he never openly went against Diddy back then. In multiple interviews and clips, Steve talks about how Hollywood will destroy your reputation the moment you step out of line, warning that the industry can blacklist you, ruin your brand, and turn the public against you overnight. He's even described social media as the devil's playground, saying it gives people and powerful figures the ability to control you and tear celebrities down instantly.
Steve has also repeatedly explained why he avoids most Hollywood parties altogether, implying that there are things happening behind closed doors that he wants no part of. Now, look, I've had I've had [clears throat] more mild incidents. I haven't just started with I'll have you killed.
I didn't just start with that. It's not the opening line. Yeah, that ain't the opening line.
You know, mental note. Okay. All of them get the same conversation.
Look, man. You can break up with my daughter. You can ghost her.
You can stop calling her. And you can stop texting her. You can you can want to have nothing else to do with her.
That's fine. But you cannot put your hands on her. If you do that, I am going to find you and I am going to do some things to you [music] that are just ungodly.
I'm not going to kill you cuz I don't want to go to prison, but you're going to you're going to suffer. You can't hit my daughter cuz I've never hit my daughters. [music] You know, I've knocked my sons out before.
I've tried to take them to several near-death experiences. But my daughters, I've never put my hands on my daughters cuz I didn't want them to equate a man's love with physical abuse. But the boys that come to your house, they have to be able to go back to school and go, "Hey, what's your daughter's name?
" Zara. Zara Fage's daddy is crazy. Yeah, you know the dude on the radio, that's not who he really is in real life.
He's It's something wrong with Zara Daddy. See, that's got to go back up to the school. Family's off limits, you know, man.
Like, you can talk about me online all you want. I don't [music] care. But when you bring my daughters and my wife into it, Sure.
I I find you. I've I've tracked several guys down online who've made derogatory statements about my wife and my daughters. One of my daughters.
Some people on social media are saying that no matter the consequences, Steve shouldn't have let Diddy have access to his daughter. Diddy was doing things to women that were making it's uncomfortable. How do you let your daughter date someone like that and then come and lecture others on social media?
