hi folks Rob more from more art school hope your paintings going well now just had a few inquiries over the last few weeks from people who are wanting to know how they turn their passion for art into an income stream and many of those people are just wanting to make a lot of money but looking to make enough made or at least cover their art supplies and maybe a bit of part time money as well and for the more ambitious you know maybe even a fortune an income stream from your passion of the pain and
the way I've done that is through teaching art see I love painting and I have a real passion for painting but I also drove working with people and I enjoyed teaching so I started more art school because I just wanted to share my love of painting with other people and so what I did was I started writing art classes and workshops and if you look at more art school comm you'll see lots of photos from those classes and workshops that we ran and you'll see that you know got a lot of happy customers and clients
who have been to those workshops and in a day or produced their first paintings in many cases so it is possible if you love painting right now and you're looking for a way to you know start making an income from that's possible to do that through teaching teaching at all art classes or if you prefer working with kids teaching kids painting classes now I chose to work with that office because that's just what I felt comfortable with and I've been running you know one day and two-day workshops for adults for some time now through more
art school I'll talk a little bit about more about what I do in future videos but I just want you know that if you're currently you're an artist and you paint and you just want to you know somehow generate an income from it so that you can continue to do more painting then it is possible now obviously you can go down the route of trying to sell you paint but for me I found it more of an immediate opportunity and more satisfying opportunity to start teaching painting so you may want to consider that as an
option now if you do start teaching painting there's a lot of opportunities available today I believe that there's more people than ever before wanting to learn how to you know around the world right now we have a baby boomer generation that are all getting that age group where they're winding down their full-time work and their kids have left home and they find themselves with more free time to stay enjoying some of their hobbies and pursuits that they maybe want to do when they were younger but other commitments going away so right now I believe there's
a real boom in the number of people who are looking to paint in that adult baby boomer age group so that you know what I focus on is teaching those people predominantly had a pain and around the world there are moves people like that are all looking to learn how to pain so it's a big market and it's definitely possible for you to tap into that so you can run a local in an in your local area you can run workshops and classes and then you can combine that with what I do which is online
now YouTube and Facebook I have just I've got this incredible world of opportunity you know right now I'm filming this on my mobile phone and I can use that same mobile phone to stream live to YouTube and have people all around the world tune in you know this came in here I didn't a live broadcast stream on YouTube so there's so many ways now that you can learn how to teach are if you love painting and you have a passion for painting and you enjoy work with people and helping them then there's never been a
better opportunity I believe at any point in history for artists to start generating a part-time or full-time income from there ah now it's interesting that the old model for artists was to get into a gallery and sell their paintings through the gallery system today there are less and less galleries and that model has shrunk you know I know a number of professional artists who are telling me that the galleries are disappearing their opportunity to earn an income through that same model that worked for a hundred years is now disappearing but at the same time with
that disappearing we have this rising opportunity for people to teach panes to adults around the world hey look I've done I've taught other people to become [Music] our teachers themselves I've helped a number of people launch their own art schools and we have people right now go through our certification program in the US New Zealand Saudi Arabia and Australia and I'm looking to share this opportunity with more people so that's something that sounds like it might be of interest to if you want to figure out a way to generate some sort of an income stream
