So today we're going to discuss my multi-million dollar trading plan I've been trading since 2016 and my trading plan is really simple people have asked me a lot of times what my trading plan looks like what I what changes I do what things to look for and all that so we're going to discuss all that now my trading plan is extremely simple it consists of five things the number one is the most important one is what time are you going to sit down to trade number two is what pair you're going to choose to trade number three what time frames are you going to look at to trade number four is what sort of a risk management strategy are you going to deploy for your trading and number five is what's going to be your trade management strategies trade management techniques and we're going to talk all about that in this following video thank you foreign [Music] now when we talk about what time you're going to sit down to trade I remember when I first started I would trade all day long I would sit down at Asian open I would look at the Asian session I would look at the uh pre-london then London open I would look at pre New York New York open NYC open London clothes and I used to think that the more time I'm going to spend on the charts the more money I'm gonna make but to be honest that did not work really well and and I'll tell you the reason why because sometimes you know we have time in the morning to trade some people may have time in the evening to trade and sometimes you may have time at night time to trade right so you gotta realize and you got to look at your life and ask yourself that okay what time do you have to trade now when I first started trading the only best time I had to trade was early in the morning because back in the day I was working in a sales job you know in our office work would start at about 9 A. M Eastern so I would wake up at 5 30 a. m Eastern I would trade pre-new York all the way into NY open at 8 AM Eastern by 8 30 a.
m I'd be out the door and I would go to work so I figured out that that was the time where I was the most profitable because you got to look at it this way right when you're trying to trade they have to be as little distractions as possible you cannot be distracted at all because if you're sitting down you're looking at the charts you're waiting for confirmations and you have distractions you're never going to be able to confidently execute on moves that you know you should be executing on it's just not going to work and I would go to my work you know and I would still trade at that time and once we would have our downtime around noon 1pm I would still try to trade all the way till Asian open because Asian open in Canada where I was before used to come around evening time and that's when there's no volume at all so that was the big mistake I made back then so when we talk about what time time do you have in your life to trade that's something that you have to decide whether like you know someone may work night shifts if you're working night shift then you may have the time to trade after you're done work or before you're done work so you have to really identify what time bracket you have in your life that you can dedicate towards training that's going to be very very important because the first thing we got to remove from your trading are distractions right because sometimes what's going to happen is you may spend a whole lot of time on trading and maybe your spouse your your parents your siblings or your friends Miss amen you're trading all the time you're not making any money like what are you doing you're wasting your time and then you're going to turn around and say man no one really respects my time to trade how are they going to respect your time to trade when you don't even have dedicated times allotted towards trading so that's going to be keep you have to decide what time in your life you have for you to trade it it it could be around one or two hours right pick a two hour bracket and dedicate that towards trading that's going to help you out a lot it's going to remove a lot of distractions now we have set the time let's say for example someone says okay you know what the time that I have to trade is between pre-london to London open and um in Eastern time that becomes maybe 1 a. m Eastern till 3 30 a.
